Notes About The Poem

Power Without Being Responsible

The wind laid over night Wars brewing didn't end Man is still thinking of ways To kill his brother around the bend The temperature dropped And green gowns cover Some plants and trees once again Now many countries no longer lovers As Forsythia's gold is replaced With a deep green gown of late spring A cold breeze from the north Will soon come in as king How many fruit trees will suffer That have started to bloom Some may have established baby fruit As least I do assume So many countries want control They want minerals and black gold Being the supreme has benefits At least, I am told

Okay, Ken. War is not my cup of tea. I think that all countries should try to keep peace within its borders and with its neighboring countries then the whole world. Sara K

Thank you, Sara B. Yes, it is ringing true with what the Bible has been saying all along, and I don't know, but I think it could be the end which is such a serious event. Sara K

War has always been horrible and on it goes. The poor victims of it. I can't fathom their suffering

I would think that the common mankind's suffering would be fathoms deep. Thanks for the visit and kind review. Sara K

We live in a world of wars. Men wield power to kill one's own brothers. Very sad. Well written!

Thank you, Valsa. At times I think when will some leaders somewhere decide that our country has valuable resources. I can't imagine how horrible it is for the innocent bystanders or just regular citizens feel when they don't know when they go to bed if their home or apartment will be destroyed along with them during the night.
