When I woke it was raining,
droplets against the glass,
as if the sky had slipped its guard
and let its sorrows pass.

The world felt newly softened,
washed free of yesterday,
each drop a quiet messenger
with something small to say.

The mountains wore a silver veil,
the desert breathed deep,
and every flower bowed its head
as if it just woke from sleep.

I flourished in the stillness,
in the rhythm of the rain,
and felt the gentle truth of it
unraveling my pain.

For storms don’t come to break us~
they come to make us see
that even in the darkest hours
the sky can set us free.

When I awoke it was raining,
and somehow I just knew
that every drop was whispering,
Begin again. Renew.

Renew Your Hope

Dream and believe your dream.
Hopeless hope is hope reborn.
When hope seems slow to meet your dream,
Renew your hope; hope again.

The mirror that reflects your tomorrow
Is not broken.
He has spoken.
Hold fast to that token;
Lay it deep within your heart.
It is the assurance of hope,
The evidence of things unseen.
It shall surely manifest in time.
Renew your hope,
And keep hoping.

Premium Member I Am Still Becoming

I am not who I was,
but not yet who I will be.
I am clay that breathes,
still soft in His hands.

Moulded, patted, pressed—
a dance,
not forced,
but gently guided.

Shaping my steps forward,
sweeping the ones left behind,
holding me upright
in the moment that is now.

I am not who I was,
but not yet who I will be.
I am still becoming—
everything You see me as,
and everything I want to be.

Watch

I used to live in a watch
I followed the movements of the screws and cogs
It isn’t till recently I broke out of that box
Now I live life untimed
Free from the rudementary

But without that who are we
Without purpose, movement or symmetry
Without the hand the face is lost

Now I’m a watch without batteries forever stoped

If only I were a sun clock, then my dependability would never stop

But a las I am not
I am not
But a faceless clock to a lost watch
Forever stoped

WEEP RENEW TEARS

WEEP RENEW TEARS by maria Gothard June 2024

Standing on the soil of Grimson reds
Blood of Nations great and small
Flowing together boundaries none
All found its end on Grimson soil.
Tears flow.
In the sky one blue its color
Now its fumes blow poison fumes
Leaving noise like thunder destroying
Breaking humanity with grief and pain
TEARS
And so we say what have we done
Look, feel, touch the self and ask
What can we do to stop destroying
We cannot clean the blood of Grimson
CLEANSE
Only the self can make the change
We do not own the right to destroy
Yet we can feed the hungry souls
The children with their empty tummies
The parents with grief no food to give
Ach Renew
Wars should be from days of old
Not in times of these. look, feel
I will tell thee, shame on those
OF GREED
Your greed of evil has no life within...

My spirit sags
so where do I go
to renew my spirit
Only I know

To my notebook
or laptop
I sit and I write
Until my fingers say stop

And my heart feels light
My soul is uplifted
my mind is sharp
my thoughts are sifted

Poetry is my vacation
where I relax and rest
It's where I can get heavy stuff
off of my chest

I love to visit poet land
and give it my all
so that I can live my life
and still stand tall

Renew

Incense whispers drift skywards
Echos amid the memory boxes.

Prising lids off revealing recollection relics -
Fragments labeled and categorised.
I run my hand over each:
Exploring the worn grooves of emotion -
Branded into being human by perspective!
Examining each piece I question it's reality...
Is it time to redefine? rediscover? to re-remember?

The pathway forward is revealed by
Incense whispers drifting skywards...

True facts are labeled misinformation
Censorshipi is stealing my speech
Silenced again, like I was as a child
Corruption and brainwashing does this

Plase do research and not rely on media
We are on the brink of potential disaster
I have always been one to see the big picture
I have faced truth no matter how hard it is

This is also why I worked as an investigator
I will not sway with my internal beliefs,
no matter what is going on around me
Widespread darkness is falling upon us

I do not say this to spread negativity
I say this to focus on anything positive,
that can help someone survive ....
all we are dealing with and make best of time left

The sun will keep rising, upon us each day
Each one of us has gifts of talent
When the storns roll, we can focus on the clearing
Strength is in anyone who chooses to seek it

Strong in the storms, with a heart gentle as pastel skies,
that will return and renew....I hope this message rises

Premium Member Nature's Walk With Me

0' the dawn is here for a new day,
Looking to the horizon of the meadow
The sun is just starting to peek its rays
Gleaming brightly into the skies above.

There's a slight breeze filling the air,
Drifting flawlessly across the skies
Two-morning doves gave a kiss of cooing
Perch high up on a branch in the pine.

A couple of squirrels chase one another.
Around and around the tree they go
You can hear them chattering
As if they were playfully laughing.

The trees look fresh green in the light,
You can almost smell the sap in the pines
The mighty oak, towering into the sky
Soaking up the morning sun's essence.

Tomorrow's, are never assured to us daily,
But, I'm humbled by His graciousness
Allowing me another day to live renewed
Starting the day with a clean slate.

The love and beauty of nature and human life,
It renews itself each day by the grace of our creator
Another chance to see a new sunrise and sunset
Illustrating its temperament colorings day and night.

silver swords strike
red mountain
exposing the night

flash bang x-rays
bombarding my soul
rattling windows

tin roof deluge
staccato
gushing down my heart
cleansing the gutters

spring shower
desert gold
invigorating my spirit
renewing cactus flowers

fragrant fresh morning
tender breath from above
gentle sun warming

red blossom dripping
sweet nectar of heavenly love
wee hummer sipping

Spring Has Come

Spring has come, dear friends
It's time to shed the winter blues
The sun is warm, the breeze is light
The world is being born anew
Renew your faith, renew your mind
Let go of all that holds you back
Embrace the beauty, joy you'll find
In each day that you unpack

We're going in, deeper still
Than we've ever gone before
March until the walls tremble
And tumble down like never before
This season, we won't be stopped
By all the things that weigh us down
Our old ways, they have to be re-mapped
As we listen to the wind's sound

We'll march, shout, and dance with glee
Around our Jericho so tall
Until the walls fall down, we'll see
What once seemed invincible and all
Bitterness, rejection, and poverty
Will crumble at our feet
As we stir up what's overlooked silently
And what's hidden from the rest

We'll activate kingdom strategies
And tear down invisible walls
Build up, plant, and restore the visionaries
According to His riches - abundance for all
So let this Spring be the season to conquer
Where we renew all mandates possible
As we let go of all the reason to fear
And live on faith unshakeable.

Renew me Lord
Make Me Oh Oh over
Renew me so
So that I'll be made over
Put me in the fire
Make to go higher
Increase by the hour

Premium Member God Renew a Newness In Me Soften Remake My Stoney Heart-

 I am dirty
I am a molded creature
A mammal
My heart is fixed
My body dirt, my body clay
I was made by the hands of a mighty, mighty KING
creator of ALL and EVERYTHING
I have a beating heart
Helps flow my beating parts
My heart is flesh
Yet my soul is spirit
I am dirty
I have a cold harden heart
Yet still beating
I am dirty
My heart is fixed
What's left
must I repent
O' Father, Abba Father
remold me, caress my stony heart
Kiss me Father breath into my nostrils parts
Redefine me, remold me into a newness of you
I am dirty
I am a molded creature
A mammal
My heart is fixed
My body dirt, my body clay
I was made by the hands of a mighty, mighty KING
creator of ALL and EVERYTHING
I have a beating heart
Helps flow my beating parts
My heart is flesh
Yet my soul is spirit
I am dirty
I have a cold harden heart
Yet still beating
I am dirty
Oh! God wash me
Hold me
Renew me and mold me
Maken unto me a renewed better image of you
