Premium Member Truly Realize Why

When I someday die,
I'll no longer wonder why
Life flashes in eyes.
I'll then truly realize
Why it was all meant for me.

Premium Member You Will Realize

When I finally win over your reserved heart,
Promise to never tear delicate thing apart.
When I finally show you how you are mine,
You will realize precisely how I am so fine.

When I finally win over your reluctant mind,
Promise to never make you be in a bind.
When I finally show dimensions of my soul,
You will realize all ways I make you whole.

When I finally help you see your own soul,
Promise to never let our bond take a toll.
When I finally express all my words of love,
You will realize maybe I am sent from above.

When I finally hear you say that phrase,
Promise we will ascend into another phase.
When I finally make you all mine,
You will realize how our love is divine.

GOD THE WAY I REALIZE

God is nature, the universe, sum of all things and all that is good.

Premium Member Twin Sisters

Somedays Loneliness comes alone
Other days with her twin sister
As Emptiness she used to be known
They both sit back and talk in whispers
And they’re invisible, that’s the major nuisance
So you can’t say to them off you go
And they can’t stop talking their nonsence
About the good old times they used to know
And they joke and laugh in a voice you knew
Till you think you can’t bear it anymore
Till you realize that it’s only you
Sitting here looking down at the floor.

Premium Member How Much We Are

How Much We Are

As a young man, I thought
How much I was, and how less you are.
As an old man, I think
How less I was, and how much you are.
And as an old man, I realize,
how much we are!

Realize Too Tight Chastise

we always realize
when too tight would chastise
will compare the size.

It Could Take You Years To Realize That They Were Never Friends

Come listen to my truest thoughts
Come listen to my truest feelings
Many of my friends
Turned out to be no friends at all!
They fall along the wayside
Because they only wanted to create
A world that they wanted to live in!

You can be friends for long
Yet it could take you
Years to realize that they were never your friends!
The road to glory is filled with thorns
So bath yourself with multiplication and you
Will soon see the reality of the danger of some friendships!

You can be friends for long
Yet it could take you
Years to realize that they were never your friends!
Your enemies are not strangers
They are people you know so remember that
There is always a reflection of Cain and Abel next to you
Come listen to my truest thoughts
Come listen to my truest feelings

Premium Member A Time To Realize

We went to a friend’s retirement party…celebrating the end
of her long and storied teaching career…
It was a day of mixed emotions…joy and laughter…
a few tears.

Stepping into a retirement party is like stepping into a time machine…
surrounded by memories of not only her first and last year of teaching…
but of all those memories in between.

Former students all grown up now…parents…teachers…
her husband, children and grandchildren were there too…
celebrating her adventure in teaching…and bidding that adventure adieu.

When she was teaching every day I imagine…she didn’t think about this much…
but her retirement party was a time to realize all the people she has touched.

All the friends that she has made since the first day she was hired…
all the joy and knowledge she has given…all the people she inspired.

We left her surrounded by her family…on her face…her famous grin….
with one long adventure just completed…and another…ready to begin.

When You Realize What You Had

Sometimes the afternoons drag on---
Yesterday was a haze of smoke,
Cigarettes and coffee---
And the radio plays
Jazz---
The air gets blurred sometimes
With cigarette smoke and sax

Thinking of you
Makes the afternoons go by faster
Until they blend into dusk,
And then evening---
Evenings without you

But I don't care
It doesn't matter
It doesn't mean anything to me

It's just that smoke
Gets in my eyes

Realize Would Rise and Surprize

Here goes my Musk and Cat Horn Haiku.

we did realize
cat always early would rise
was such a surprise

cat was quite a catch
should see him as he does scratch
drank water down the hatch

cat was always weird
partner improperly neared
so he disappeared

with cat will comply
many happy days pass by
on him we rely

Now for my Horn Musk Haiku

would see his each tusk
on ox who was full of musk
threw out like corn husk

Musk will toss and toil
on his hair used much oil
went bad and would spoil

much musk will remain
had been covered by the rain
in war on Ukraine

Realize Cat Would Early Rise

we did realize
Patrick early he would raise
much to our surprise
(who hard four short thighs)
(has family ties)
(which we would surmise)
(wore a neat disguise)
(hit box after many tries)
(would chase away flies)
(for food often cries)
(both wet eyes always dries)

cat was quite a match
did drink water down the hatch
one had loved to latch

cat was always weird
learned that when his partner neared
he had disappeared

put cat box in din
which had become full again
our patience worn thin

our favorite pet
who would fool around and fret
away with murder let

My Horn Haiku format is 5-7-5.
Each number represents a vowel.
Haiku does not normally rhyme

not normally rhyme
but mine does all of the time
being so sublime

The Moment of Blooming

Suddenly an idea out of nowhere enters your thought.
The origin of the idea is something to be sought.
The beginning of a process that hones the attention and the intention to a very fine point.
Much more than just a dew drop in time as a drop from an infinite ocean has the same properties connected and joined.

Premium Member A Loophole

Pray before you're being prayed
Learn before you're caught ignorant
Do good and you'll be repaid good
Do bad and you'll got the lesson
What's behind a religion
Now people are making use of
A religion's loophole
To escape
They do bad to be saved
They do bad to ask for mercy
They always repent too late
Only when they are caught
Come to me and you'll be saved
A helping hand stretched
But you must do your part in advance
You must learn beforehand
You must practise what you've learned
You must be careful
You must do your best
Before you hand yourself to God
God only help those who help themselves
Come to me and you'll be saved
If not physically, materialistically
Then spiritually
But no amnesty in law sometimes
People only repent
And realize
A minute
Just before they're to be punished
If ever saved
I thought
They're saved spiritually
But not from the law physically
Law is said to be the fairest
But the strictest
