Dreaming

You and I alone, you slowly close your eyes
As we journey from reality, the dream world presides
I lure you closer with my inexplicable charm
Tell you I love you, enfold you in my arms
Protect you from all harm, becoming all you ever need
Pleasing you immeasurably, the best love you’ve received
Deep in my soul I believe, and you the same
That our love will stand forever never know the meaning of pain
Never will our perspectives change, for in our futures we see
A love that will last throughout our lives into eternity
In our minds there must be, an image permanently set on you and me
As our bodies lay together, so snug and so tight
We experience an evening of passion, a night of pure delight
Never beheld by sight, nor heard a single sound
Of a love so powerful, so strong and profound
Just as the rhythm of a single solitary drum
Our hearts slowly begin to beat ever so gently as one
Our love becomes a song, released by our spirit
Our body controls the rhythm while our soul sings the lyrics
As we reach the climax, you slowly open your eyes
Within a matter of seconds, you begin to realize
You understand that you’re alone and next to you only a pillow lies
Then you begin to hope and pray that this is how we will live our lives

Premium Member Prayers For You - 1

I pray for you to be blessed
With sunshine that has confessed

To giving an embrace to your soul
With love that will make you whole

I pray for you to be given hope
With kindness to help you cope

Whispering a kiss of gentle light
That penetrates the darkest night

I pray for you to find inspiration
With joy that creates pure elation

Breathing kindness through your heart
In rays of faith that brings a new start

I pray for you to light up the world
In hues of gold and scarlet swirled

To bring sweetest silence from thoughts
So jubilant they tie one up in knots

I pray for you to know tender peace
Serenity that can only continue to increase

As it beckons to the music of the wind
Which is left with only its vision defined

I pray for you to realize every dream
Caressing your heart with its stream

Reassuring the prescient of honest belief
That will only bring the greatest relief

I pray for you to know that you are loved
From the heavenly hand which is gloved

With empathy, sympathy and concern
That will always help you to grow and learn

I pray for you to know what it is to give
As God shows you the best way to live

Comes from offering pieces of yourself
Instead of leaving the heart upon a shelf

I pray for you to reach out with desire
To stoke the flames of love a little higher

Nurturing the tenderness until it overflows
Leaving only light to brighten the shadows

Consequences

Some events throughout our lives
Have consequences that
Reverberate for years and years,
No matter where we’re at.

A childhood trauma or a jab
That cut us to the quick,
Emotional or physical;
A hurt that seemed to stick.

Or else an injury incurred
To leave a lasting scar
Or the remnants of an illness
Which hangs on in ways bizarre.

There’s not way to know just what
Will have a permanent effect
And at times we may react to what
We never would suspect.

The only thing that we can do
When looking to the past
Is to realize we are stuck for good
With what the die has cast.

Future Learning Stops the Hurting

If I had a time machine
I'd erase the things I've seen
Going back in time I would
Do the things I never could
Learning from my past would be
Changing my whole history
A girl too scared to realize
My families love was a disguise
Wrapped up in false lies and faith
Now I can see all the hate
That was brought into the years
And all of the hurt stained tears
It would be a whole lot better
As a warm and cozy sweater
Of love wraps me in the arms
Of parents who's hugs are warm
Not ones in a house of hate
Knowing it was not too late
To get help by saying something
Magically it would then bring
Me out of a hurtful family
To ones who's love was meant for me
Thinking back I would have changed
The way it was and re-arranged
Everything that went so bad
Going from sorrow to glad

Premium Member Magic In the Clouds

There was magic in all his grandpa’s stories…they were filled with wonder and surprise…he could feel the magic in his grandpa’s words and see the magic in his eyes.

His grandpa found magic everywhere he looked…in the birds, the butterflies…the bees,
in the stars, the moon, the sun…in the flowers and the trees.

As they lay in his backyard one day…the grass still damp with morning dew…
his grandpa said, “Did you know…there’s magic in clouds too?”

“Watch the clouds above us…as across the sky they flow…
Watch and you will see…they put on a magic show.”

His fondest memories of his grandpa…the times that make him feel most proud…
are the moment they spent together watching the magic in the clouds.

Still today when he sees clouds spreading across a sky of blue…
he’s reminded of those times with his grandpa…in the grass painted with morning dew.

The other morning, on the beach, far away from the crush of crowds…
he and his wife witnessed that magic…when they saw dolphins in the clouds.

An entire pod of dolphins smiling as they leaped out of the sea…
for a moment, a brief moment, flying high…and flying free.

His wife pointed to the sky and said, “Do you realize what we’re looking at?”
He smiled, then nodded saying, “I bet Grandpa had a hand in that!”

Dr Jekyll And Mrs Hyde

She had a busy life, with no time for fun
Being a scientist, always on the run
Well respected, well mannered exterior
Belief in duality human nature superior

Believing we all have a good and evil inside
Obsessed, her studies she would try to hide
In a quest to separate two opposing forces
Created a potion, to see what her course was

Waking she felt quite exhilarated
Fascinated it’s freeing, rejuvenated
With a sense of freedom felt a liberation
Not realizing there was a transformation

Drinking the potion she felt an exhilarating rapture
Clueless that her personality would be fractured
When the room began to spin round violently
Losing control she had fallen down silently

Dr Jekyll didn’t realize what she had unleashed
Or how her repressed desires turned beast
Never thinking her alter ego she had set free
Complex she had no idea what would be

When realization hit, she could no longer hide
After Hyde took a life, she was horrified
Horrors of her actions came to her gradually
Not knowing she lost her own individuality

With the potion brought on a complication
Forgetting what was her selfish motivation
Consumed with guilt, blood on their hands
Trying to think quickly, she needed a new plan

With her action, an alter she couldn’t break
Tormented by a creature she can never escape
Feeling trapped with herself and her monster
In the end it was both their life’s that had cost her

The Prayer of a Lost Soul- Christen Kuikoua

You were my Neighbor for lots of Ages
You and I was inseparable,
We Lived together and accomplished our dreams together,
We played together, sang together, were sad And wept together.
My one And only Friend you were certainly
You care when i needed you the most
Pick me up from misery and comforted me

My trust and belief In you Was sincere
Our bond was so resilient it never broke
No anger stood in our ways
For our unity was believed to be eternal

What Sorrow I felt, then my friend,
To discover that all our friendship will be despair
The day I vanished from earth my home With tears,
I realize our friendship was just a faze

OF all the memories made on earth
You never talked of the myth I though,
At no time you spoke of my lost soul,
And God who could make me whole

I’m forgotten today Forevermore
Heartbroken With Tears in My Eyes,
I supplicate today From Hell’s ferocious Flames
And apprise to you my last hankering
No words today of yours,
are capable of setting me free
Nevertheless, make no mistake my friend
Do all you can for the essence of man
Implore them now quite earnestly
Avoid them to be diffuse in the abyss with me
This Poem Is about a friend That Dies and Unfortunately doesn’t know Jesus Christ and goes to hell.

Hello, I am a praying mantis from the tropics,
a killer really, once I bit off the head of my lover;
and then I ate him, yummy and then I was caught,
I ended up in a pet store until one day she bought me.
I am a strange pet for a girl to have and love,
but it is so, few people realize we make amazing pets;
no weirder than a rat or ferret or snake.
My species is known for courage and fearlessness,
in ancient times we were considered supernatural gods;
but I have no powers except my praying posture,
I like to be perfectly still with my for arms folded in prayer.
Usually my girl feeds me small insects she finds,
once when I was on a stroll I reached into her goldfish bowl;
and ate her goldfish, oh my, was she upset with me,
I like to grip her finger with my long legs.
One day I escaped into the garden, oh delight,
I ate a bunch of bugs by ambush and camouflage;
you see I am the master of disguise,
I can blend into the foliage and any background.
My girl found me when I was trying to resemble a flower,
she said I was a giveaway with my two bulging eyes;
(and three small ones) darn it anyways, almost had freedom,
but in truth I love my girl and the lovely nest she made for me.
She has made it look like my tropical homeland,
with a heater and plants on which I crawl and pray;
there is never a lack of bugs to eat and I do love the light above,
so yes I am an odd pet for a girl to love;
but she calls me beautiful and that makes my wings flutter,
and I go into my praying poise for her to praise . . .

We grew up together. You were three doors down.
Ordinary kids, we were, in an ordinary town.
I recall the two of us, gazing at the skies,
trying to find the truth in its starry guise,
but, we couldn't read the stars, whenever we would look,
any more than we, as preschoolers, could read a book.
An ordinary girl, you were - I, an ordinary guy -
just two kids who could never read the sky.
We were separated when we were just sixteen.
Your family moved out of state, no longer to be seen.
I kept trying to learn to read the stars in space,
though, slowly, I forgot your once familiar face.
I turned to the learned men from history,
from Newton to Sagan, but it's still a mystery,
befuddling people since days past and olden.
A song said, "We are stardust. We are golden."
I got the news today. I guess everybody dies.
I recall you, sweet neighbor, and now I realize
the truth was in the twinkle of your starry eyes.

Premium Member Skiing Mouse

Mouse skier with a zizzle and a zazzle
Never suffers from frostbite or razzle
We cannot get him to dismount his skis
Coaxing him with all kinds of stuff including please.

He will no doubt be an Olympian mouse.
I see him out there, projecting over a house.
He’s got ramps in our kitchen, including one on the sink.
When my mother sees him up there, her face turns quite pink

Why can’t you practice at your own house? She asks.
This is one of my houses, he says, getting out his blue flask.
We did not realize we were sharing our home with him.
He is one of my besties now, his name is fat Jim.
