BE YOUR REALITY

“To be or not to be…?”
Often, a misunderstood question
Of self-reality; failing to realize
That God has given us the power
To affect how it should, and will be:-
It has been written, and repeated:
Ask, seek, and knock; and its
Given, found, and opened:-
That is, when we choose to do so,
In awareness that we are in charge
Of choosing what affects our reality:-
As one author has succinctly put it,
Our…”reality is not what happens
Around us, but how we respond to it.
Thus, how acquaintances act around us
Is their reality; our perception, our reality:-
In our daily lives with peers and family,
We must come to realize the power
We have in affecting our own reality:-
All too often, our reactions to others’ realities,
Tend to negate our own healing realities:-
Know and accept your power
Affecting your reality. Let no one
Or anything deter its joyful coming to be.
Thus, go back to life’s mirror and notice
What you see: One of God’s beautiful
Creatures looking back at thee.
Know that your desired reality,
Is your given responsibility:-

The Angle of Reality

The angle of reality it performs.
In order that we see it's many forms.

The myriad of gentle notions rest.
Upon what nature considers the best.

There is the sour and there is the sweet.
There is the poor and there is the elite.

Then it's the Masters that will come along.
To change the world and brighten the song.

For it's the return of the Nature King,
For which the people will forever sing.

SUR REALITY
in a dream
  glaring
 passion
intangible thrills

 this symphony
   cannot last

as
 if
 in a dream

night
as far
as the eye
 can see

then
alone
 wretched
exaggerated
  proportions

 develop

age
 or
decay
 we
cannot judge

contemporary
to the core
we
search
 for conception.

Best Choices

The prom dress that you never wore
That certain boy you didn’t date
The phone call that came nevermore
All shaped the turns that made your fate

Looking back along your wake
Old disappointments linger still
Yet all those things that made you ache
Were ground within life’s turning mill

Yet there stands reality
Where perseverance, dreams were made
Through them you clearly came to see
Your finest choices have been played

The glittered dreams of youth and truth
You once wore proudly on your sleeve
Have ripened into lasting proof
Of all the things you did achieve.

Mirage, Star, Dream

Longing flickers like a spell
loose in the dark...
a small, bright predator
pursuing the shape of you.

You appear where reality thins,
a shimmer of mist,
a spirit wearing light.
Desire opens its hidden door
and the door becomes sky.

I reach,
and my reach turns luminous,
a quiet magic
that conjures your presence
from memory,
from myth,
from the soft ache
that knows your potency.

Here,
in the enchantment between worlds,
you rise...
a mirage,
a star,
a dream
I can almost touch.

Reality and illusion

If illusion is something you have in your head and reality what you have around yourself
Did you ask yourself what did you see in your reality to have that illusion in your head?

Was it through the bed time stories you heard in your young age
Or was it wattpad fantasies in your teenage where you still engage

Did those images in your head create the illusion or something in your reality too
Would sitting in rain blur the line between reality and illusion so you could see through

Is illusion for you really money fame and luxury
Or is it in the collection of things loosing which make you worry

I am amazed if illusion was something shown to you by others
Would you be scared by the mud on your hand in your childhood as your biggest illusion

I wish the perfection we seek today wasn't present everywhere
So that the stupid illusions we have in our head would consume us to have it as reality somewhere

Artificial Reality in Fruit and Veg

Melon in a game is like
Melon Lolly’s sugar spike,
Though 1 not fit for a hike.

Strolling in a raspberry field
Blows a bubbly, breezy yield
Of endorphins – worry’s shield.

Fruit juice enhances smoothies –
Sipping to scenes of movies
Allows me to maintain smooth knees.

Crunching on roast potatoes
Puts a pause on my great woes,
As do late poetry shows.

For today, I’m vedging out
Before the morrow’s day out
When I’ll get to vent, not shout.

                                                    REALITY

"There are some who believe life here, started out there, far above the Earth,
maybe beyond the Milky Way; somewhere beyond sight and exploration, where
mankind has never thought to look. And some believe life to be a video game.
every thought and action under the control of anonymous players who
           nobody sees.

Some even believe that reality, as we know it, is what we make it.
But if that is true, why can reality not be changed even in the blink
of an eye which sometimes seems to be how fast bees fly
when they are about to attack?

You'll need a vanity mirror..Is my current opine.' Mind you that might change.? As it
Goes.' I'm sure it will..Hold yet you will not
Forestall either it, nor desire, for all lies beyond our human will ' as eons present
And expand..Yet will perhaps; also expire.?

When your reality is NOT something you chose,
you can sulk and withdraw from life,
or you can do your best to move forward in
your new circumstances

I am trying my best to move forward,
but my grief is weighing me down heavily,
It does help to focus on God's blessings
daily and I can lean on my tribe of friends

Healing for myself means I count my blessings daily,
look for the good in each situation
I try to banish unhealthy thoughts
and show kindness to others.

Their was a time l was mad as a hatter
Back then l was on the highest of heights
Now l am looking for new subject matter
Perhaps too high one is setting their sights

Though still l'd say anything but the latter
But seems their is more left turns than rights
As one again my life is now in a bit of a tatter
Endless days and even more so restless nights

As now their is much more on my platter
When still l am in search of fresh appetites
I would guess enough of the chit chatter
As you know reality it now bites...

Reality

In the summer of a universe,
I am with the sun.

I yearn to break away.
I try.

A giant gravity holds me fast.
No matter how I try, I cannot reach a new domain.

I am trapped right here.
Armed with every treasure and matter known,
I make my leap for escape.

I succeeded.
And upon waking,

I found myself locked away forever,
Supplying blood to the beating heart of the sun.

THE ONE-TWO OF LIFE

One thing about life,
Two things all experience–
Living and dying:-

Two things about life;
We enter, and we exit–
Journeying here…once:-

Just a write on hell..Alright.!! It
came from my dreams such scenes.? Last night!
I was trying to reach my dead grandfather
It was like he was alive while i slept.?
There were no perameters when i was there
Just striving, false hope and advice from
Strangers it was strange.' I feel drained and confused more than rather.! After i woke i realised the finality of death.' And how small are we.' No matter our currsnt
Roles.? Where we lead? Of are led i remember being told he is not to be found
As i chose to crawl on crushed glass till
That statement would be proven un-sound.' I then awoke..' To the light of day that was an hour ago now so fresh enough hey.? So the earlier write waa drawn from last nights
 dream maybe a
Close enough glimpse of what hell really
Means.?
