With my new pair of

Things are starting to feel normal and reminding me of what we had
But it's a feeling I'm trying to avoid and I know that sounds sad
Do I really want to revive what we had in the past
Just to give up my emotional dignified freedom that fast
I have cultivated a friendship with myself that has made

I am ready to be the dawn

no dating or intimacy for 9/12 years

released old contracts with love and grace
grateful for every much needed lessons

Life speeds by with work, errands, crisis 
and then something huge pops up
It's so easy to settle into a busy numbness
and just pass the days at the speed of light

Refreshed and rejuvenated, I cleaned my room
Scoured my kettle, tidied up my riding broom
Put spell books in alphabetical order
Rebuilt my back stairs with brick and mortar.

Now I am pooped and have to take a nap.
