In a world where we weigh by ranks in the society
The richer the better
I am trying to see my self
For all that weighs in my inner me
But at times
It is hard
I have hard time visualising myself.
you ask me
what was this year
i say i'm thankful
blessed
grateful to be happy and alive
while others are dying
diseases
hunger
war
pandemics
is this just the start
does our world fall apart?
i'm thankful to be safe
in a world gone mad
we can't do other
than stay full of hope
may god bless this family, my father my mother
and all our people across the globe
star ranks in sable —
outline of pines and myrtles
undeterred by clouds

Scrambling over each other, trying hard to be heard, interrupting, yelling out, being yourself.
We knew how to do this when we were two, and three, and four, but they socialized it out of us.
So we grew up un-learning our naturalness, un-learning our playfulness, unlearning our potential.
Sure, they say, we are going to help you with your potential, but as we fit into the lines, conforming,
Winding our real selves into the pretenders others accept, we lose our potential, because it is
Not ours anymore, it is your idea of what ours should be. When we break ranks, and run for it,
You lament that you cannot control us. Thank goodness you cannot, for the leaders, the ones who have
Stood for hundreds and thousands of others have learned to scream their truth from the roof tops,
Challenging those who think controlling others is normal. There is nothing more abnormal than that.
In Ranks Did Discover Dissension
While mumbling about then did mention,
Ended up going to a Trump convention;
Many had loitered;
Then reconnoitered;
In ranks we did discover much dissension.

R-ose from the ranks,
O-vertook as the night fell;
S-uccess you did achieve,
A-ttaining a higher level.
L-ow position you once held
I-s elevated to the next;
N-ew function you fulfill,
D-ivine duty that you
A-nnex.
C-limbed the tree of triumph
A-scending in ecstasy;
L-ife's destiny is written,
E-nding up in victory.
R-ose from the ranks, took every step to improve;
A-dvanced through the grades, accelerating your move.
B-oosted and highly headed
I-nto another promotion;
N-ever ever did you boast,
U-nder the break of dawn.
Y-es, on sixteenth September she remains in member's phalanx;
A-ccept the well versed woman who rose from the ranks.
Standing straight in columns and ranks,
Heads newly shaved by the barber,
Carrying guns loaded with blanks:
New recruits after Pearl Harbor.
(Our foes wait in their well-defended lair,)
The Generals inspected troops,
(Imagining that they’ll stay safe and warm.)
Standing straight in columns and ranks;
Afterwards they broke into groups,
(All my soldiers ready their arms to bear.)
And marched towards the ships’ gangplanks.
(Bugles sound: Battalions! Companies! Form!)
They boarded ships with guns and tanks
To England, the Atlantic crossed.
(Our siege cannons thunder; smoke mists the air.)
Standing straight in columns and ranks,
(While thinking of barricades each must storm,)
They’d free Europe at any cost.
(Once over the walls, we’ll know what’s in store.)
Allied troops endured dire losses;
(It’s hard to see through misty fogs of war.)
Gaining a foothold up the banks.
Heroes sleep beneath the crosses
Standing straight in columns and ranks.

oh, how they do not like it
when you throw in the towel
for their side (exhausted by the
infernal beating of one’s head
against the wall) & you join
the adversary---
funny how quickly you can be
accepted by those who obviously
got their *****together better
than the bozos whom you been
working with,
for the past bit of time---
don’t think for a second that it
will come easy &
don’t think for a second that when
you walk away, you won’t get your
tail stepped on,
when trying to pass quietly out the
door,
because they feel you
owe them something,
for all the time that you were
“allowed”
to parade in ignorance
underneath their big ol’ banner
bearing the slogans & various images
of current idiocy,
as if the whole world
would one night
fall into order,
your order,
the
new
world
order,
of which it seems everybody with a stake
in the power structure,
always is looking for an angle,
a way to manipulate the rest of us---
but this time, you were lucky,
ya got out before they dragged ya out
by your toe tag,
when you proved no longer
viable---
congrats!
good to have you aboard.
SADDLED SIINCERITY
I have a lot of friends who talk with temerity
Some softer souls speak with sincerity
There is no need for me to see their face
And I can tell which one it is whatever the case
Is it the one that tells me she’ll do all that I need?
Or will it be the other one who does bad deed after bad deed?
The liar’s lips quiver I’ve found over my many years
And when you threaten to leave beware of the well honed teeth her from crocodile tears
Some I can tell immediately by the way they choose to speak
Other times I seek out a newborn calf so very weak
Lost from her mother while sleeping upright
Those are the kind I rob with the greatest of delight
Those naïve ladies are made to order for a wild mustang for me
Now all they’ve got to do is saddle me up and simply to mount
I’m telling you people these kind of ladies give love away virtually for free
I’m cunning but I’m also wrong because my last lover left and emptied my bank account

Ranks
A day was cold and fogy. I parked,
My vehicle and went to the station,
When I came back to buy a ticket.
My body still shocked how it happened?
A lady from the passenger side,
Came in and sit, I were shocked,
Please leave my vehicle, your choice,
You picked a wrong person.
Could you listen me please?
I am also student, I know you,
You are studying in my Uni.
I need money to pay my rent.
I paid her as she asked me twenty,
And promised me to pay back, suddenly
Police raided the area and arrested me,
She said,' I was trying to rape her'.
I was worry about my family,
What dad will think about me?
She was a Police, I found it later,
Police pick innocents only for Ranks.
