All those who prophesy..Raise your voices and
Hold out your staffs.' Announce a mighty
Wave of conversion in Jerusalem.' The
Lord is moving eternally! He never sleeps.
Neither does He slumber.' Awaken oh Sleepers oh you who have denied Him
For too long' now is the time of
Your redemption, He will draw
You near."
At my yearly review, she hands me a recap of my performance.
After a year of working weekends
overtime on short notice-
going the x-tra yard
taking on x-tra projects
dodging H.R (for the most part).
I would be getting .73 cents an hour raise.
My face must've turned gargoyle
because the newbie supervisor
lowered her eyes and apologized.
Nervously adding that she had no hand in determining raises.
Her pimply head nodding toward the ceiling....
Implying the flaccid raise was concocted by the ones upstairs...
Where underworked blonde birds and plump business casual lived.
23 years of work .73 cents an hour raise...
The vending machine on the first floor has candy bars for a buck twenty-five.
I think I'll go celebrate
yeeha.
Winter warnings to stock up on food, suoermarket shares should jump
For the drainstream media who reported

To those who choose to raise their own.
In a kind and disciplined loving home.
I pray for the grace of God
To guide your path as on you trod
The wisdom that you too are learning still
The understanding that they and you have free will
The discernment that teaches (not tells) right from wrong
The love that is not kept but passed on and on
You are not perfect but the will of God is
He will guide and teach you if you choose to be His
Do not worry but lean on His understanding
And you will grow stronger with His word commanding
Your children will learn just as you do and have
And the heart of Father you will make glad
Deep Convictions — do not shout —
They blossom in the Mind —
A silent Orchard, born of Frost,
Whose Petals brave the Wind.
To do what’s Right — is seldom loud —
It need not beg the Day —
Its Footsteps leave a candor’s trace
On unassuming Clay.
Educated — is the Soul
That listens, before Speech —
For Competence is not a Crown
But what our Choices teach.
Communication — pure — refined —
Is but the Steady Rain
That carves a Canyon out of doubt
And ushers in the Plain.
So let the World — in Tempest — rage,
Let Rumor strike its Gongs —
Conviction dwells where Quiet lives,
And Truth completes her Songs.
Outside my window, the sun smiled.
No sirens screamed and no explosions resounded.
No tearful wails interrupted my serenity.
This, I thought, must be peace -
As long as I ignored the news.
Nobody tore me from my bed,
Bruised my skin,
Nor forced water down my throat.
My human rights, intact -
A privilege of my distance.
Ahhhh!
My cocoa tasted as sweet as my innocence
from the cradle of my recliner.
Why borrow trouble?
Am I my brother’s keeper?
My skin frosted as my heart shivered.
A cold thought formed.
The quote echoed a ghostly reminder from whom that question originated.
A chilling realization that hiding was actively choosing
to raise Cain.
Where was the chaos sown?
Where were the voices stilled?
I must not sit, I must not wait!
Comfort must be sacrificed,
before I also found that I had become the one who was not Abel.
Raise the banner – answers draw near,
El-Shaddai reigns, our mighty God on high.
Sing louder now, let freedom’s voice be clear,
Let praises soar and echo through the sky.
The Son has set us free – we are free indeed,
Darkness shattered by His supernatural light.
Dance, for we are touched by Heaven’s Hand,
Our feet anointed, proclaim peace and insight.
A different beat shall guide our feet anointed,
With eyes of discernment, use what you possess.
The chains are broken, devil’s control is crushed,
Our bloodlines blessed; our paths lead to success.
On Christ, our Rock, we build never to sway -
Let God walk and talk with us each day.
You can never know
who was watching
waiting for you
to say no.
To say no to injustice
to broken systems and lies.
To say no to drug abuse
to bullies in disguise.
Raise your voice
sound the alarm
just maybe your words
will shatter the harm.
Maybe your voice
will rewrite the story.
Maybe your voice
is their path to glory.
May we never be afraid to raise our voice
when we see how injustice and inequity become blurred…
Loud enough so that not only our voice….
but those who do not have a voice…are heard.
I am drawn to you as an alcoholic to a glass of whiskey,
I lift you to my lips taking a simple sip,
I pour you from the bottle I’ve enclosed you within,
Without fail,
Another day,
Another drink,
Why can’t I stop pouring,
Pouring and drinking from your glass?,
I put you in the bottle,
I expected you to stay there,
My selfish ways inscribe within,
Tip the bottle,
Unscrew the flask,
Giving hopelessly into your misery,
You comfort me while you take my life,
You steal me from my body,
You disconnect me from my conscious mind,
Who might I call upon to save me from the nothingness?,
No, I am not an alcoholic,
But as I tip the glass further,
Your solace becoming my pain,
Raise a glass to despair!,
Raise a glass to easeful torture!,
No, I am not an alcoholic,
But I am addicted to the ideals you present,
Please,
I beg,
Save me from myself,
Save me from inside,
Please,
I beg,
I do not want to be okay if this is what it means,
I do not want to be okay if okay belongs in your arms,
I do not want to be okay,
I want to survive,
Let me survive.
Raise your kids with love ?? and affection
Travel with them and share with them beautiful stories of people.
Children raised with negativity are hard to cure
They spread toxicity and bitterness everywhere they go.
Save the society from terrible disaster.
I thought pee lines were for females
But when dogs stop wagging their tails
Guys seek the closest tree
Then raise a leg and pee
In a queue, their barks sound like wails
Somewhere in between,
The seen and unseen.
It’s all been there from the beginning,
It’s just now the veil is thinning.
Why are you so surprised?
The enemy had everything disguised.
Prophets have shouted,
Many have doubted.
Time,
It is sublime.
God in all His splendor,
He is our great defender.
Captives in prisons long held,
Have finally been expelled.
Cries of freedom
Are now heard throughout the Kingdom.
Shouts of Praise,
Kingdom children raise.
Shout to the King,
Let your voices ring.
The King is coming,
The King is coming,
The King is coming.

Radiant golden daffodils sway in the breeze
In air pure and clear
Fluffy white cotton ball clouds watch over
A pastel coloured rainbow gradually appears
Distant melody of a trickling brook
A vibrant coloured butterfly flutters passed
Chirping birds happily converse
So to the splendour of nature ….please raise your glass!
A true inhabitant shall hail the only God,
For praise, conscience endowed.
Shall plant the seeds-the gifts.
When to glorify the Maker, a nation lifts.
It is not sole-the self but of greater bliss.
When God and Humanity align, a future of hope arise;
For when all partake, it’s a noble satisfice.
And when a neighbor needs a friend,
It’s a duty for you to lend and blend.
For to be one, offers a great strength.
-to Praise to Raise.
