Today my heart races for you
Your flesh was never warmer than my passion, a flame more intense than you could ever bear. My love for writing poetry is my secret weapon.
While I may not claim to be gifted
My identity is Black, and words have always motivated me. I can string them together easily, but making them meaningful? That’s

Cheltenham Races
Watched the steeplechase races at Cheltenham
At the haywall a jockey fell off
His horse though continued to ride
And came first – what a great finish that was.
The name of the horse is Fiddlerontheroof
But the victory was awarded to Monkfish,
Who came second, with a jockey on the back.
At my comprehension, Fiddlerontheroof won.
He did the job

HARMONY
Harmony
Everyone's priority
Calmness yields clarity
Clarity insight to act
In any given situation
Acting without panic or disagreement.
When everything is in tune
Peace is attained
Peace yields wealth
Giving the right mindset
For reasoning and acting
Harmony Unites all races in our society.
Let's live in peace and harmony
When your thoughts and actions
Get in tune
Everything

presidential races
Well, the morons are in the race
A little behind but their keeping pace
Running at a close last
I see its the idiots they finally passed
don’t pull your bets: its not over yet
I see the imbeciles sneaking up on the left
Well the out comes unsure of a race finally won
But of the five judges only three have

RUNNING RACES CRACKING CODES
RUNNING RACES CRACKING CODES
No disgruntled dissonance
between dimensions
sliding down sigils
galaxies of glories
listening to lilies
lyricing to Lilith
flow of filaments
consenting to classify
eyes like echoes
running races
cracking codes so

Snow Day
The snow is still coming down extremely hard
Snowmen are springing up almost in everyone's yard
Schools have decided to close giving the kids a snow day
My driveway will have to wait, the family insists it is time to play
The snowballs are being prepared for the fight that is about to ensue
The adults versus children, our strategy is

A Day at the Races
manes plastered down
quarter-horses
put through their paces
lightning-like, whips crack the air
puddles mirror rainbows
sunshine peeks from clouds
hands folded around cash
spectators pray to gods

Races
(Note: This poem was written shortly after the 2022 Olympics and after Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos rode their rockets in a new space race for billionaires.)
Races
By Mark D. Stucky
Our country had a Space race
to beat Russians to the moon.
Decades ago, we left lunar footprints
and brought back rocks and selfies.
Rival billionaires build rockets now
for suborbital

White Near East and Such
ONE:
Is our Near East in Asia? Are Israelis "Asians"?
People from India are called South Asians
The same folk in Caribbean are East Indians!
Fancy that: West Indians being called East Indians
STOP: DON'T BLAME COLUMBUS
He simply said, Indios! You say South Asians
But I don't see North Asians, East Asian, or West Asians!

Now, Arabs are classed WHITE in

Dolphin Races
Sitting on deck
Sails in check
The sun falls from the sky
So many colors as the sun says good bye
Rocking upon the waves gently as can be
Watched the sun kiss the sea
Over yonder a dolphin keeps lazy pace
Think more for the company than the race
Hearing the waves break against the bow
Never more alive than I am

The Story Behind Different Races By Richie Kharis
THE STORY BEHIND DIFFERENT RACES by Richie Kharis
Many times they act like they are holy sanctimonious
And every day they pray, but still they can not tell the change
Another day comes hate, for them, love is an easy exchange
Yet far away behind their eyes, lies the truth that may be strange
Oh;

Firefly Races
At the firefly races,
where the viewing is good:
the magical places
near the edge of the wood
and wide open spaces.
At the firefly races,
adrenaline flowing;
they're fearless, courageous.
Their engines are glowing;
excitement: contagious.
At the firefly races,
their course is uncertain.
For near half an hour,
they're fast and they're flirtin',
displaying their power.
At the firefly races,
don't let this be over;
feels like we just got
