When under the gun how can one
not be outdone by nepotism
or overcome by favouritism
altho' the norm they're no more
than a form of terrorism
a nebulous opponent none can fight
on the human landscape
naught but a blight
from which we can't escape or run
any self-respecting someone would shun
and as for me you see
I was obviously yet definitely
born in the wrong place
at the wrong time with the wrong face
seeing promotion from outside in the cold
not a foot could I put over the threshold
what with doors slammed progress jammed
out of my depth in over my head
can't get a look-in may as well be dead

I’ve never felt this way before
Never been treated in such a manner
Something so new to me, it’s unnerving
Fear inches everywhere in my body
What if we all thought wrong?
What if the perfect daydream I thought
I was in, Was not
my reality?
I’ve never thought I could come near
To such a fate like this.
Being loved
And being treated like I actually exist.
I want to drown in this feeling,
Of pure bliss,
Perfect happiness.
I’m scared to feel it until
I reach the bottom,
My feet scratching the surface of confrontation
And what I dread.
How do we go from here?
How do I come back up?
What if I float back up to a reality
Where everything was in my head?
I don’t want to go back.
What if I float to a reality
Where you and I are together.
Until we aren’t?
Until the water flushed away
The covers I put over myself,
Exposing
Me.
Would you still like me then?
Boringness and annoyingness and flaws and all?
Or would your eyes drift elsewhere,
To someone smarter, prettier, chattier?
I don’t know what reality has
In hold for me.
But I just want to know,
Would you still like me,
Flaws and all?
Give me a hint of reality.

I’ll never forget what's her name
She bought the teaching profession to shame
Humiliating me in front of the class
Her red ink comments always so crass!
This woman was a history teacher
but such a nasty vindictive creature
As a child right from the start
I was never much good at art
We all have our talents I know
And I did give the art work a go
But drawing is not my forte
And it let me down badly this day
The lesson filled me with fear
We were learning about Boudica
I attempted my best to draw
Yet this was the comment I saw
“Boudica did not fight Martians!”
She was poking fun at my expense
I left the classroom feeling so tense
So it was never a great mystery
When I didn’t opt to study history!
It’s been therapeutic to write
This poem to put over my plight
That a child should never be put down
By a teacher who acts like a clown!
*This is a true story and I only threw the book away when we moved house!!
Based on the English pronunciation of the name which is like bow-de-seer
I'LL NEVER FORGET WHAT'S HIS NAME (OR HER NAME) Poetry Contest

Where is this place....
That I agreed to go.....
It has brought me to this room of a empty space....
You have no doubts and say I speak with haste.....
There are no doors that we can open ....
Only your Promises of a day yet to come......
Yet......
There is no Sun
There is no Wind
There is no Truth
There is only Hope that your words are Real.....
How can I believe when you have brought me no where......
Suspended in Time.....
A illusion of a dream that I was yours and you were mine......
Is your gift to me....
Open this window that you put over me......
And set me Free....
Where Love is Real.....
Where birds are singing
Where flowers bloom
Where the air is filled with Peace...
Put this Dream to rest where it belongs for nothing can grow in the dark....
I stand alone in the stillness as your words sing my doom.....
Why do you keep me in this room...........

All Good Sarah, yes we are meant to suffer at different levels by being
Born in special hardship places...be born an eskimo suffer the cold,
Why do u think we have pirates and con men in nigeria,?
Because of their bastard ways, a put over con man won't want to change,
I look for man like logic in our universe and think it's how it works.
As Ye sow so shall Ye reap, get resurrected on some **** heap.
When you get to pay for your crimes.
Theodora the harlot got rid of a Pope,
Put in her own in Constantinopal,
She didn't want to pay for her many bad crimes,
Reincarnation she cut out from the Christian doctrine,
Holy Roman,
Emperor Constantine did as he was told,
By the Emperors harlot ever so bold,
The Jews always looked for Elijahs return,
And John of the Baptist was he you will learn,
For Christ who has risen, said so.

America Still Remain Solvent
How can America still remain solvent?
Whole world have too much involvement
Sending what's left of our money overseas
Are becoming bankrupt and everyone agrees.
Takes dollars from here and put over there
Pretty soon money is spread everywhere
The foreign lands become big nuisance
Complaining about all of our influence.
Oh my gracious and also good Lord
On spaceship we have aliens aboard
Am understanding and starting to know
Why people like seeing illegal alien show.
Want you to let my poem be your teacher
After seeing ugly faces on an alien creature
I am beginning to think it was no accident
When one of them wanted to run for President.

?An Illegal Alien for President
How should America still remain solvent
Over-committed with much involvement
Sending becoming miniscule money overseas
Are becoming bankrupt and everyone agrees.
Took money from here and put over there
And pretty soon it was placed everywhere
Then them foreigners became big nuisance
Complaining about us and all our influence.
On Sunday was looking toward seeing my Lord
Then on spaceship did discover aliens aboard
Am beginning to understand and now I know
Why people wanted to see the illegal alien show.
What I want you to do is let my poem be a teacher
After seeing the faces on each stunning creature
I am starting to think that it was no accident
When one of them decided to run for President.
Better start holding your belts from laughing
before someone stabs you in its buckle and
you start buckling up from all of the laughing.
Chuckle, chuckle. And up we better buckle
And suck in some more honeysuckle.
That is much better then some other things
I know of when what we really need is
love, love and more love.

Sailing over the elegance of sweet memories,
the pleasant havoc put over by the unsaid words,
And the melody of charm poured by heavenly fairies,
begging the mercy , savored by the lousy lords,
Thought it would last, but it seems
even the sympathy of whistling breeze may not last...
Frozen in the depths of softening silence,
The hustle of the blazing time,
and Lotus smiling out of the diamond pleasance,
gathering the smithereens of moments into one charm,
thought it would last, but it seems ,
The lust of life must fade into its transience....

I was hoping for a fairy tale ending
To a picture perfect beginning
But when the dream is over
The reality is it was all a dream
See, I want a beautiful romance
Full of kisses, hugs
Little sticky notes professing love
And all that jazz
But I’m not getting any of that
None of it is coming true
I’m no Cinderella
So there’s no Prince Charming
And I’ve lost time waiting for him to come
So there’s no need for a kiss
To break a spell I’ve put over myself
I was just hoping for a fairy tale ending
To a picture perfect beginning
But I’ve never opened my mouth
To even let him know
That this is how I feel
I just want a beautiful romance
To that man of my dreams
But when I wake up
He ceases to exist
I’ll never be a sleeping beauty
So he can’t break this spell with a kiss

When I gaze into the evening sky,
watching planes, insects, and birds go by,
I'm amazed at how they all can fly.....
I know there is a God!
For every hungry child that is fed,
for every bit of shelter put over our heads,
because for me---Jesus bled.....
I know there is a God!
When I behold God's glory each and every day,
when one who was lost finds his way,
when those who would not, begin to pray...
I know there is a God!
Whenever I'm alone and sometimes down,
I feel an awesome touch and hear a gentle sound,
I then know where help can be found.......
There is a God!

Rum me fast,
Let it warm snowy sinews,
My fingers cannot move,
Heat them at last,
My legs feel leaden,
As if weighing tons,
Let them march past,
My facial muscles are screwed in hold,
Liquefy them from the cold,
Light the furnace,
Let the fire grab the rum in embrace,
Bring me a bowl of hot soup,
Which can heat me,
From toe to lip,
Put over me warmer clothes,
Freezing winds are working in like sharp lathes,
They are all my dearest hopes,
As I lye forlorn on a cold footpath,
And stagger up to get up catching stand rope.
