Premium Member Santa Claus

Santa Claus, should he really exist
Would have every Soupers name on his list
He'd make sure none of us were miffed
And provide for each a special gift

Grace was more than just her given name,
Ready always to provide for friends and neighbors~
And so her kindness was proclaimed,
My grandmother, worthy now of God's own favors.

Ownness

My love for you is unconditional and never ending

I sent my Son to provide for you a new beginning

You have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit

Why do you then continue to glory in your own merit

Working Woman

The little wren hen is in a fitful mood
From scurrying all day in search of food.
The journey is dangerous in a world so rude
Yet she dares provide for her waiting brood.

Observations of a wren hen from my porch.

God's Guest House

This world is God's guest house,
provide for us on earth.
But we're destined for the Main House,
through salvation and rebirth

So hold lightly to earth's treasures,
because someday you'll be moving in
to His mansion up in Heaven,
prepared for all God's kin.

Still Want Us

It's true.
I've failed you.

I tried.
I did.
I tried to be there,
To give & provide for you.

For us.
But I've failed.

If I see you again,
I want to apologize,
And tell you I forgive you.

Recognize & help you.
But I know myself & I.

I'll see you & turn away.

The Tree

The tree relaxes in the soil,
Tranquil like a freshly brewed pot of tea.
The tree is my rock,
Formidable and resilient as a soldier.
The tree is a mother,
May it provide for generations to come
The tree is a dancer
Its grace is for many, and it serves others with benevolence.

Premium Member Water

Water is the offspring of space and time
and when it flows seeks to trace the area
of its parents courtship which resulted in
their fiery union producing seeds of nature
to provide for their nourishment and growth,
in the soil of this earth with its fertile clime.

PARENTS

Why do most parents today
Think that their children
Owe them something when the
Children become adults
When they made the decision to
Become parents in the first place
It's not I took care of you, now
It's your time to take care of me
It's a parent's job to provide for
The child they elected to have
It's shameful!

Devour the Spirit

Devour the spirit and souls
of the poor, fatherless children
with no clean water nor food
to fill the bloated bellies.
Families unlearned, desolate
spiritually beaten. Unable to provide for
their young. Villages living in sorrow of their
dead babies, dead husbands and raped bodies
and spirits.
Who will help their misery?

Our Children

Show them
That you care
BE THERE WHEN
THERE SCARED
Let them know you're
near
protect them from there fears
wipe away there tears
teach them The right way to go
then they will know
how to show love to there own children
because of the love you installed in them
guide them
provide for them
and never deny them love

Obatamy

We the enfeebled of the incited states of confusion, ordered to deform a more perfect union,
establish just Them, insure narcotic tranquility, provide for the common everything, promote
Welfare, and procure the dressings of Liberty to Them and Their posteriors, do profane and
demolish this Constitution of the United States of America.

Premium Member Suffer To Live

Terrified. Fear stares from every angle.
It feels like the walls are closing in.
Good. We try to be good people. But, good people never, ever seem to win.

Terrified. As tears won’t stop rolling. We can’t provide for our kids.
Fate. We hope to believe that life will somehow help us as our country has decided we should suffer to live.

Lunatic Act

Premium Member Adult Children: a New Species

They look like us,
On the outside,
Only just younger.

They walk upright,
Can speak English;
No, not foreigners.

We nourish them,
Provide for them;
Help Them grow stronger.

They sprout gadgets,
To interface
One with another.

Prefer online
To face to face.
Virtual lover?

Will they survive,
Even evolve,
To become human

Hyena

Sneaky snivelling dog,
Creeping around for gain,
Snatching whatever comes close,
No understanding of pain.

The pain that other things suffer,
The agony of dying for real,
I hope you never do realise,
Or empathise, notice, or feel.

But never forget the family,
The pull to provide for the young,
It changes every perspective,
The hyenas howl must be sung.

God Will Provide

Lord, I don’t ask for riches,
for silver or for gold.
For nothing in this world will last,
it will decay and grow old.

I ask only for my needs, Lord
that you have promised to supply.
I know you will provide for me.
On you, I can always rely.

Your promises are forever sure,
You will never, never forsake.
I will trust in you completely.
You know the path I take.

Premium Member The Rich Man

The rich man is not the one with mounds of money
The rich man works for a living and is proud

He is rich if he can provide for his family’s needs
And able to help out a friend in trouble
The rich man has love in his heart and wears a smile

But the richest man is the one who has raised
Children to recognize what being rich is truly all about

Girls Gone Wildlife

Trippy turtle was kind of slow today
I told him to get out of his shell in a while
So we went to party with smirky the Hare
Who was way too high
He didn't even remember inviting us there
Turtle and Hare reminisced
About the days when the wild was free
When trees were sacred
I told them as long as I need money to provide for you both
I'll always have a chainsaw strapped to my back
