A chariot for Harriet

  Destination unknown for her trip
Unfortunate it is only a proverbial ride
Too many details am I forced to skip

Such as who's Harriet and why not a ship
if you knew the first the second would abide
Destination unknown for her trip

Still all the premises don't touch the lip
You're left to questions remaining aside
For too many details am I forced to skip

If Harriet is punishment I'll take a whip
If she's shame then I have no pride
Destination unknown for her trip

No she's like a fine wine I'd slowly sip
Her body a castle, her soul, the queen inside
Too many details am I forced to skip

From my mind to yours these words slip
Nothing about Harriet am I able to hide
Destination unknown for her trip
Way too many details am I forced to skip

Premium Member Look at Things a Different Way

     Sharp questions make me reassess
        my thinking’s illogical mess

Look at things a different way
        False premises and conclusions slay

Hit me hard where it really hurts
        Force me to animadvert
           ~ to reason, emotions convert

Manners Maketh Man

The premise goes everyone knows
before entering the premises
while still outside yet on the mat
it's no gentleman who forgets
to doff his cap or remove his hat
if dining out or at a private party
for a particular person
it's impolite at most
to sip slurp or slink a drink
before the toast to a hospitable host
and when beside the table laden
confronted by the salsa bowl
biting then re-dipping chips
the most unmannerly of all
is he (or she) who double-dips

Premium Member A predator came calling

We forgot to close the coop and a
predator came calling.
We became entangled by his loop
and now the government he's uphauling.
We let a nemesis on the premises,
so billionaires he's installing..
Slashing and gutting Federal agencies.
What will survive this mauling?
The chaos and the casualties,
so tragic and appalling..

Premium Member Megolodon

Megolodon was a very toothy fellow
who was probably not too mellow
he would search for all kinds of prey
and treat his find like a buffet
he probably didn’t have many enemies
and I’m so glad he is not in our modern premises

Premium Member The Mouse And The Cat Fable

A wise mouse lived alone in a narrow hole he had dug
in the soft soil in the backyard flank of a large house,
whose owner had a pet cat that seemed the master
of the house, for she moved around majestically
in the sprawling premises with an agile feline grace.

Once as the mouse was sniffing the ground for food
the sprightly cat chased him, but failed to catch,
for the alert mouse ran like lightning into the hole.
From that day the cat sat all the while by the hole,
waiting for the mouse to come out in search of food.

The hungry mouse faced a problem of life and death,
choice of death from hunger or being a prey to the cat
became a huge predicament, but he chose the latter,
for there was a chance that the cat wouldn’t be in sight,
and outside the hole he could find fast food to survive.

After his stomach was full his brain started to work,
flashing a novel idea across his confounded mind.
He crawled cautiously, dug a few more holes wide apart,
the confused cat didn’t know where the mouse was,
who was happy for inventing a bright piece of thought.

Moral : A little thought can solve almost all problems.

Kessi Awendo, Certain Affairs Fay, Charms street Affair

A breeze of super heated love the ancients called it
At the forth angle trumped up charges bemoan you
Twas a case of of an eagle eating a chic..... cry folly
Cry folly for Roy was as is his usual MO a by passer
How can you let her use you're premises yet no pay..
Are you Roi for real threatened the pistol service Bro
Yes you are our Bro Intelligence son is you're not..
Not uttered as Kaayan and by it a pointed index mark
Where did the fingerlings who abide by fingering... Eh
Leave a Mark that Roi now you have to be roasted..
The wheels of justice grind and groan in the mean time
Co-Optation has never been sur-judged as a justice means
In Esoteric font Roi Fold you're wings.. Let chics Be..
Who said you have to stay in the form of the Eagle
A Leopard you are an African Black Panthre' On My Mark.

Premium Member God Showed Up On Tuesday

God showed up Tuesday
Walked slowly amid His children
Found the doors to his houses locked
The poor huddled in the shadows
Of bell towers that called to no one
Listened to the empty words
Of robed and soul-less orators
Droning in a deafening silence

God wept on Tuesday
Unrecognized
Shunned when he inquired:
“Do you love one another?”
Escorted from the premises
When he whispered:
“Why have you forsaken Me?”

Premium Member Runaway

Creation, tablet, mouse all the necessary ingredients to work at a job,

either remotely or Face to Face on the job. Alphabetize files, and store

files in a vertical position either through the computer or on the premises.

This job could be short term or long term. Possessing a guitar, for work

or amusement, is a great talent.

In the event if you are fired from a Long-Term Job, you have a reliable

back-up system to work to earn a reliable living. The world can crumple

when variables in Life changes. Being fired from a long-term job is one

  of them; Runaway!

Fourth Trial of Stylebender

FOURTH TRIAL OF STYLEBENDER

He left him frozen like Elsa,
The loosed dog ate him up as a pizza
Then unleashed his bow & arrow,
3 shots ended him, piercing into his marrow.

Put an arrow in the heart of your demon.
Even though successful revenge isn't common
as he was hunted down 3 times by his nemesis,
drowned by the sea of eyes in the octagon premises.

Suddenly, the hunted becomes the hunter,
slicing through Perriera like bread & butter.
Now, the predator becomes the prey,
Adesanya entered the record books...what an entry!

Second-round knock-out was the story,
Stylebender basks in the sweetness of glory.
Landing a thunderous right hand from the gods
And defeating his demon against all odds.

Freda and Freddie Foster were the first
To follow their festive mood at the Jukebox Jam
Owned by Sam
Willy Wendy James Jonesy and Jesse arrived
With Jolie Julia and Justine
Hey man Jesse said to Jonesy look alive
Socialize pump up the jukebox
Let's get this project started

I been waiting all week for this Jesse
Yelled to his friends. The jukebox blared
With the latest sizzling summer songs
And Sam was on the premises. Sam did the
Jig with Wendy while Willy watched and
Soon joined in

Jonesy and Julia James and Jolie all did a
New joyful jig so long to the jigful jam
Justine and James went up stairs and
Jammed up there. Man this jive is live!
Freddie hit the jukebox for another powerful
Dance tune. Ha! Ha! soon everybody did
The jig. We couldn't resist Sam said.
Yeah! Yeah! Jam on it!
James yelled.
Sam said he'd be closing after this last play
Man already? said Jonesy. Julia agreed, "What
A phenomenal night."

Set Me Free

I must have loved you more than I could bear,
since you linger in my mind, so freely.
The stay of your welcome is overdue,
peace is scheduled to visit me.
I find no need to drown in my shame,
for all trespasses are forgiven.
I've shed enough tears,
dampened myself to sleep,
to cancel the self-blame of losing you.
I've grown tired of pity parties of loneliness,
please leave these premises.
Anxiety has escaped me,
you are no nemesis.

Monasteries of Old

Rooms of self-imprisonment
Against Spiritual Impairment;
Castles like centuries-soaked Mountain,
To a type of knowledge The Fountain.
One a bit crazy to look at them long
Or on their account assemble a song.

Religious Repositories of Old
By one neared when one is bold;
A great wonder they did finally fold
And now in touching stories told …

Perhaps, something to do with veiled crime
Against them held by Record-Keeping-Time
Or in their inner rooms Defiling Gambling
By Monks who saw through every card play;
Maybe on their premises a rambling
By The Wizened sorting out things they hard way.

Premium Member Snow Ghosts

Rime, a crunchy, rough, as it glows prime snow
On the surface of all that snow, like a white cameo
Popcorn or Styrofoam plastered at zero below
Rippled from the nemesis cold wind, frozen curling overflow
Onto naked trees and all, when it comes, Rime it does grow
On windy mountaintops that tumble to and frow
As it goes on windward side that blows
Black and white collection of snow ghosts show
A nemesis on the premises when it’s zero below
