Set Me Free

I must have loved you more than I could bear, since you linger in my mind, so freely.  The stay of your welcome is overdue, peace is scheduled to visit me. I find no need to drown in my shame, for all trespasses are forgiven. I've shed enough tears, dampened myself to sleep, to cancel the self-blame of losing you. I've grown tired of pity parties of loneliness, please leave these premises. Anxiety has escaped me, you are no nemesis.
