Premium MemberYour Journey To 100

On your journey to one hundred, I say,
Try laughing, learning, and loving each day.

You’ll meet many travelers along the way.
Share memories with others, take time to pray.

Enjoy a sunset, eat a piece of pie.
Take in life’s beauty and quit asking why.

Take a long walk as often as you can.
Talk with a loved one, walking hand in hand.

Thank your Creator for all you’ve received,
For the comfort in times when you grieved.

Open your heart letting love flow right through.
Happy you’ll be in whatever you do.

Daddy, I wish you’d return from your heavenly home.
And, I’d be your little girl, in brown braids, once again!
I thought by now, I knew it all, but such is not the case!
It seems with the world, I am trying to keep a fast pace.

You did teach me to love God first, and for His love, I never do thist.
Nor to chase empty prizes from my fellow man!
For all wins come from His softest hands.
Never from cold, intellectual, mental , sands

Thank you, God, for all genuine, poetic, loving friends
Keep us, kind, true, with honesty , that forgives, that mends.
To help us create a world of humane understandings,
Not a cruel world, dismissve of theolological bindings!

WHAT MAKES ME SMILE

Waking up to a brand-new day with a smile—
A gentle smile.
Remembering school days with friends,
Playing in the mud with pets,
Watering my favorite rose plant,
Hoping to see it bloom... and smile.

A smile on the faces of loved ones
Lights up the path ahead with glow.
A healthy breakfast, a smooth ride—
Fueling joy to face the tasks of the day.

Fine weather promises a sweet beginning,
A smile makes each moment worth living.
With prayers to the Lord for a blessed start,
And greeting others on birthdays—pure joy from the heart.

A neatly dressed soul sparks a smile,
A clean home admired all the while.
Tasty food brings thankful delight,
And timely support earns a grateful smile—so bright.

So many moments, big and small,
Hold the power to brighten all.
In every act of love and grace,
A smile finds its rightful place.

Thank You

Our Father,
Thank You for guiding me today.
It was a struggle,
But You helped me find my way.

Thank You for my family,
And for friends who stay so true
For memories of those now gone,
Whose love still carries through.

Thank You for the life I live,
A gift I must not waste.
Like a seed that's gently planted,
It grows with care and grace.

Thank You for today and more
For each breath, each setting sun.
Let me walk in peace and love,
Until my days are done.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Premium MemberMy Friend Darrel

My relationship with him was of short duration,
And very little did I know of or about him. But,
I learned a very valuable lesson from Darrel.

I was a part of a prayer meeting at our church,
and it was at this event that I net Darrel. Even
though such meetings are great to help us grow,
Like most prayer meetings, only a few people show.

I wish we all felt free and unthreatened as my friend
Darrel who never felt any pressure to pray out loud.
He simply sat there and absorbed the Presence of God.

Darrel's wife was well known and active in the church;
But unlike her, my friend Darrel was a stranger to most.

We had just recently began to acquaint ourselves, and
I'm certain that we would have become best of friends.
Darrel passed away after briefly attending prayer meetings.

We often remember people for the things they openly said and
did. I remember Darrel for what he taught me about what he did
not do or did not say; about his quietness, stillness, calmness, and steadiness. I tell you, he was like a visiting angel that showed up
once a week just to be with us.

Let me return to Mother Earth

My play’s last scene when comes to end, when ends
My pilgrimage, its last laborious mile,
It’s time to call the curtain in a while,
Time ‘tis to say goodbye to my dear friends…
And to show up oh for the Judgment Day,
My flesh unto atoms ready to merge,
Whilst all but subtle vestiges I purge,
My sins and saner deeds when say their say—
If I deserve a term or not in hell,
Or should suffer the test of a devil's,
And cleansed I get of my sinful evils,
Pray, spare me, howso short, from heaven's spell,
For, I'd love to return to Mother Earth
To try, strive once more for my tiny worth.

Perfect people don't come to God!

I declare that there's no greater high!
Than knowing the Creator of you and I.
I tried cocaine once, it's effect was insane.
It cause bleeding from my nasal membrane.
For many years, speed was my delight.
But it cause my heart to not beat right.
Hung out with friends. Drinking gin, beer and wine.
It left me not caring as it pickled my mind.
Chose a high fat diet. I ate like a king!
My body's now paying for all of those things.
I was young back then, did not have a clue.
The only thing best for us all Lord is you.
Read God's word world. Talk to him each day.
Ask him for the grace to walk life out his way.
Don't give up or quit after any sin event.
Turn your God saying "I was wrong and repent!"
"Please forgive me Lord for this wrong that I do."
I willfully chose to disobey you!"
Turn your focus from self. Help others and give.
Make a habit of doing this as long as you live.
You've done things your way, now let's give God a try.
Nothing better for the soul, than love of the Most High!
Even if you commit the same sin everyday.
Run, repenting to our Father and not the other way!

Premium MemberGethsemane

At the Mount of Olives, in a garden called Gethsemane
Jesus asked His friends, “Please, will you all stay here and pray with me?”
It was after supper and He knew His time would quickly come
So, He prayed for strength to do the things that He knew should be done.

He looked at His friends and found that they had all fallen asleep
So, they did not see His sorrow and His pain ran very deep.
“Can you not keep watch,” He said, “And stay awake a little while?
Pray to God with all your heart that you’ll not undergo the trial.”

He cried to His Father, time and time and time again did speak.
“Willing is the Spirit but the flesh is oh so very weak.
Father, take this cup from me before I freely drink my fill.
But, Father, not as I want, I come to do Your holy will.”

Ministered by angels, who came round to offer strength to Him,
From His brow the blood did flow, and pain racked Him in every limb.
Finally, the soldiers came and all His friends just ran away.
And then, by His own disciple, with a kiss He was betrayed…

My soul in tensed darkness

As my soul floats in tensed darkness,
My heart beats in lifeless starkness,
A faint hope pierces my despair,
As my knees glued firm to prayer.

I soared with sour taste of my sores,
My favours, all burned to vapours,
Poverty beckoned with stern stare,
As my knees glued firm to prayer.

Friends stayed far to gloat my sorrow,
Night stretched long, no hope for morrow,
Sadness comes with relentless scare,
As my knees glued firm to prayer.

My spirit cried for God's favour,
His grace became my sole saviour,
Right from then I enjoyed his care,
As my knees glued firm to prayer.

Premium MemberA Thanksgiving Prayer 2024

Dear God, on this Thanksgiving Day,
I bow to you and humbly pray.
Thank you, Lord, that my mind is clear
and that I know the day is here.

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life
Even though it’s tainted by strife.
Thank you for freedom and for peace
And for law enforcement police.

Thank you for family and friends
and for the joy their presence lends.
Thank you that I can see and hear,
their faces and their voices clear.

Thanks for meats, pies, veggies, and stews
but more than these for teeth to chew.
Thanks for the system to digest
the fusion foods my mouth ingests.

Thank you for limbs and feet to walk
For lungs to breathe and tongue to talk.
Thank you for health and strength to strive,
and for a working car to drive.

Thank you, dear God, for a good job,
So, to eat, I don’t have to rob.
Thanks for the home in which I live
and for the many gifts you give.

Above all, thank you for your Son
And for the victory He won.
Upon the cross, He died for me
But when He rose He snatched death’s key.

Give me a grateful heart each day
and help me in your love to stay.
So, one day I can feast with Thee
when this world is from sin set free.

Thank You For Your Forest, Father

Why do I have peace
Inside your forest, Father
That everytime I do here
My mind is recharge
Just a breathe for 10 seconds
My perspective change
My eyes start to wonder
In appreciation the beauty
You give to my eyes
Everything I see is life
Of art and of poetry
Inside of me rekindle
Are charging, rearranging
Your river here is so cool
Clear and cleansing
Your trees are like my friends
I hug their trunk and talk
To them my problems, my plans
My visions, even my secrets
I ask your trees for guidance
For answers and for miracles
To take place in my life.
That's how I do here in your forest, Father
Releasing my worries, unleashing
My doubts, my fears, my problems
After these are done, Father
I am cleanse, i am comforted, i am free
That's how you help me with your forest, Father
Not to mention, the adventure, the relaxation
That you have given your forest to ne, Father
Thank you, Father for all the benefits
For all the favor of your forest to me, Father.

How Much You Love Me, Father

How much you love
For me, Father
I didn't know
All I know is that
I have your sunshine
In the morning
I see your flowers bloom
I breathe your fresh air
I fish your sea for food
I pluck some of your vegetables
For my cooking
You give me a helpmate
You give me children
I have good friends
I have a house, pets and garden
I love everything you give me
That's all I know, Father.

A Prayer To My Father

Thank you, Father
For giving me the glimpse
Of what life is
You give me my life story
I am not after of what
I will do in this life
But you give me reassurance
Of my life of what is in the future
You give the words of salvation
You love my soul, I love my soul
You give my life a meaning
That life here is just dream
You show me that narrow path
I left my baggages and follow your way
You take out those veil in my eyes
And now i see the whole picture
The picture that you want me to be
Thank you, Father for your love to me
I may not perfect but I may do excellent
In your sight by doing your will
No matter what, no matter what happen
Your will be done in my life, no matter what.
Thank you for the salvation of my soul, of my family,
Of my friends, of my neighbors, of my love ones
Of my acquaintances and of my enemies
Thank you, thank you Father
Through your Appointed Son, Amen.

Oddly, I had no news on, at all today,
I just heard about your city’s early morning’s sway!

Having lived through earthquakes, I know that fear…
You wait for those afterschocks, that’s so very clear!

Keep flashlights and all electronics charged.
God watches over you, he is your best guard!

I do remeber building swaying to and fro.
But there really was no place at all to go.

And when an afterschock comes in the night,
It rolls you in bed, from left to your right

From your NoCal neighbor.
Love and Prayers, gear piets!

Dust to Fire

I slip into the morning light
Catching the wave of the dew soaked breeze
Giving up the fantastic fight
Choking on the earthbound wheeze

My friends all wait beyond the gate
I see them when I squint my eyes
A color brighter than the fate
that made me always question why

This body just a vessel sent
from God for us to learn;
our skin and bones are here to rent,
eventually we all will burn

Ashes to dust, dust to fire
I lift my spirit from earthly bounds
I will no longer mire
in the clock that never wound

Time is the illusion and my body the effect
My spirit here eternal and my shelter wrecked
