"The stone Saints of Gorton Monastery (Manchester) were gathered together in storage during the extensive refurbishment of this once thriving then dilapidated (at the time of the photograph), yet architecturally stunning,  building.
I imagine, after years standing on high pedestals, their backs against the walls of the cold stone building, they were eventually re-united. Together for the first time since the late 1800s - here the image captures them, before being re-instated on their elevated positions, and after the extensive refurbishment programme was completed, almost (one imagines) in a huddle of prayer, or sharing the gifts they each carry, telling the old stories of lives once lived and journeys of faith taken."

Faithful few Filled the Firmament with Fundamental fervour Finally finding, through Fastidious fellowship, Future fanatical friends and Fulfilling the fine frequency Favourable for forgiveness. Finally.

Well done, Chris! A fave! Love that you included the pic and info too! For me, also reminds me of Dr. Who’s weeping angels, of course they were nefarious. God bless you!

So thrilled that you love the series. I’ve played a couple of the episodes for my grandson, then I would say “Don’t Blink…” I also love the Louvre’s “Tomb of Philippe Pot” with life-sized hooded pleurants. Was a fascinating sculpture!

Indeed, one of the most memorable super-villains. Thankfully these guys and gals were Franciscan super heroes of the faith. Blinking allowed. Kim lovely to hear from you (and fellow Whovian too)
