Notes About The Poem

Blue Zone Lifestyle: Live Better, Longer | Fountaingate Gardens

Your Journey To 100

On your journey to one hundred, I say,
Try laughing, learning, and loving each day.

You’ll meet many travelers along the way.
Share memories with others, take time to pray.

Enjoy a sunset, eat a piece of pie.
Take in life’s beauty and quit asking why.

Take a long walk as often as you can.
Talk with a loved one, walking hand in hand.

Thank your Creator for all you’ve received,
For the comfort in times when you grieved.

Open your heart letting love flow right through.
Happy you’ll be in whatever you do.

I don't use the word Sweet that often. But this was sweet. I love prophecy. And think this may be a message to me from my Creator. And my reply would be "!00?"

Very beautiful...sage advice. Perfect write! As my dad, often repeated -- the first 100 years are the roughest. After that, a peace of cake. Great writing, Bill!
