Naught Meant To Be

"I used to know you as the best, but now I don't remember your name?"
--Anonymous quote

Best friends who imagined were inseparable,
who did things together as one or otherwise,
such seems to please both till the inevitable,
as these dynamics that befell did jeopardize.

Coherency part ways due to varied questions,
defended futile answers facing the heedless,
as gunfire of a tit-for-tat shelled confessions,
blanks are laden via ammo with dark secrets.

Each wave of regret and surge of apologies,
crashed mercilessly on an unforgiving coast,
plus in the face of our modern technologies,
entirely aiming clear attempted their utmost.

As forbearance slips at a faraway crossroad,
dual forces unwittingly catch some time out,
as acquaintances noticed our esteem erode,
confidence shadowy loses, without a doubt.

Best friends who imagined were inseparable,
coherency part ways due to varied questions,
each wave of regret and surge of apologies,
as forbearance slips at a faraway crossroad.

Digital Santa
Sung to “Santa Clause is coming to town”

You won’t find out
You better not try
Better not unplug
I’m texting you why
Google Plex is coming to town

They’re making a list
And checking it twice
They already know whose naughty and nice
Amazon is buying the town

They see you when your sleeping
They know when your awake
They know your darkest secrets
They see every move you make

So, you better tune in
For more digital sin
Better not pout
While they lure you in
Walmart owns every big town

0’s and 1’s
Are part of the fun
You can’t hide
And you better not run
Apple controls the world

Uncle Sam,
Is completely plugged in
Laughing out loud
Cause he’s knows you can’t win

Satan Claws is coming to town

(who did you think was in the red suit?)

Eric (and sometimes not)

I Wish I Knew An Erago

I wish I knew an erago how words can plex your noggin
At times like sliding down a hill with only your toboggan
Once you start you cannot stop, it feels like going south
One foot on the slippy slope, the other in your mouth

Words obey and forever stay, even when you oopsy doodle
Words command and forever stand, but you have to use your noodle
Words can bend and oft offend, but words are only say
Relax yourself, enjoy the day, put all the words away

Premium Member I Know

I know
When I'm dead and gone
You will say I grocery shopped
And cooked pallet perfect dishes
And served you on silver platter
And perfumed our home
With love and care, just
As your closet, clothes, and shoes
Day in, day out appear

I know you will squirm, knowing
I crushed your crave for authority over me
"Fifty-eight bucks shouldn't go to Health Plex spa
I must cease voluntary service; I don't need school
I'm too old to jog, what's mine is yours."

I know you will grieve
My giving is what kept us poor
Like the rich once bankrupt

Never forget that magical day
After I said, my wealth is with features
Other than dollars, plus!
Don't say we're never going to have anything
Pray about it envision it believe it
And quietly it will come
A few days later, you got a fat check
And so did I

I know you will retrace
What the Cardiologist said
"You have a good heart."

I know you will repeat what I heard you say
"...You forgive and will do the very
Good, you vowed never to help me with"

I know you wish I were every woman
But Iris is the messenger goddess of the rainbow
And that too, my honey, is enough.

Four Plex Permute

about 25k of DNA
that's all we got
for expressions to say
but more than a lot

adenine and cytosine,
long to interlace,
guanine and thymine
to make a living base

all stewed in nucleotides
helixed turns so linked
is what makes life's ride
to all organisms distinct

finned salmon fishes
grizzlies and finches
appointed life's wishes
for nature, it's a cinch

too, flies and butterflies
anaconda's and darter snails
life's supplies in disguise
diversity of crittered tales

it's puzzling to piece
just how life can do it
with near-infinite increase
of its proteined tool kit

switched on proteins
morph winged extremities
to myriad of in-betweens
and other of life's remedies

go for it, life says
make a smash, make a mistake
live it to the hilt
all ways alive, for life's sake

A Kiss

A kiss is suppose to make her warm and fuzzy inside.
Leaving her smiling and 110 % satisfied.
A kiss is sensual with tongue and lips.
It's more meaningful when you caress her face with your fingertips.
A kiss is *poof* like magic.
Exploring her mouth with your tongue like go-go-gadget,
She closes her eyes and imagines.
All the places to be kissed and the passion.
A kiss is gentle filled with hot sexual desire.
You taste her spot and she's burning up on fire.
A kiss is exciting, lighting the flame in her sex.
So intense she feels the hunger in her solar plex!
Your kiss is all I think about
without a doubt I run, leap, and shout.
What can I say, when I'm away it's the one thing I miss.
Especially your Eskimo Kiss!
