Have to win this race
I'm losing face at a pace
Running out of breath
I've got a peace plan
I'll come first and you second
It sounds good to me
Do you not agree
Should not have started this war
Back to where we were
Autumn’s breath playfully teases
and does what it pleases
to her already mussed-up hair
as she swears it isn’t fair
to go to the dance
looking for romance
while the beauty queen
enters the scene
getting all the wow
posing for photos under the bough.
Little Ricky grew up quite nice
and all the girls would like to entice
him to perhaps grab a kiss
like some wanton miss
forgetting her manners,
becoming a seducing enchanter~
Autumn’s breath like fine wine
teases young lovers to entwine~
Now her daddy is planning
a shotgun wedding.
So glad ‘I can keep my doctors on my new insurance plan’
My endocrinologist’s next opening is June 07, 2027
Today I got a reminder call for tomorrow’s appointment with the insomnia specialist
Had to take a pass on the meeting, for it wasn’t in my book
As the year I made it, (2014) I had not by insomnia been overtook
And as for my Primary Care Physician, before I saw him, he retired
So I saw his partner, who with duct tape together had been wired
I asked him if he was actually a PCP for car mechanics
He smirked, then howled ~ said he’s just obsessive-manic
Swallow your pride and shout
Who left the toilet paper roll empty?
Always have a plan B
- when the need is critical
It comes like a slip in the day~
a blue stillness,
a pause I didn’t ask for
but must walk through.
The operating room is bright,
too bright,
as if the world has been pared
to its cleanest edge.
A feather rests on the tray~
not real, but the thought of one:
light,
soft,
bound to air
the way I am bound
to this hour.
Memory stirs~
the half-dream drift
of all I’ve lived through,
all I’ve held,
all I’ve let fall.
Peace is not loud here.
It is a small pulse
in my wrist,
a breath that says
I am still
in the world,
even now,
even in this
unexpected place.
And when I wake,
the light has changed.
The day has moved on.
But something in me
has learned
the quiet art
of returning.
In the kernel..In the buds, in clouds that wreath above, in the timber feel its form
Its with a direction all things are born,
Maybe sometimes you're inclined to go
Against the grain.' Is that not so.? Maybe
A better way is waiting for you.? But from
What iv'e seen its only God ' who'll see ya
Through.'
Can we still be recognized
Who would give a damn
We are documents, comprised
Nowhere woman, nowhere man
It turns out to be the same
About other people
Some of whom are quite insane
Voices loud, minds feeble
They can’t speak for me, I bet
But they do, regardless
It’s the greatest plan been set
To eliminate us.
José! Your mind of lofty, lucid flow,
Reputed justly for its logic strong;
In every case, the course correct to know;
But then that day, your plan, it was quite wrong.
Full well you knew an idle pawn is vain;
You knew, and surely others must have told,
A knight in distant corner keeps no gain;
But knowing that, the fatal plan took hold.
Too wandering way, too puttering on the path;
Too little eye toward the gathering storm;
Too little care to cold and crushing math;
And so a spirit sank to Soviet form.
An hour or two upon that game you spent,
By which a light on all of life was lent.
Its happening now.' Asymetric symtomatic
Assonence-less without redress..subtle warnings, its the dawning, fear is spawning
Night to morning.' Billionaires drive, much psudeo, mumbo-jumbo ( what do we know?) Why is
this so..Just stroke their ego.."
And you'll find how, things will go.!
Friday night approaches, well deserved.
We'll sit together... talk into the night.
Gather gingerly plans and dreams.

There once was a squirrel named Pam,
a scatter-brained woodland glam with no plan.
she’d skitter and squeak,
go speechless for weeks,
then pose precious-cute just because she can.
Quite possibly, where I reside
Might have a labor strike,
With building workers hoping
For a settlement they’d like.
An email let us know about
What we might soon expect,
Like no one taking packages,
No doormen to protect…
No maintenance in hallways
And no garbage down the chute.
Repairs will just be done
In situations most acute.
We’ve lived through this before
And it may not occur at all,
But the landlord has to let us know
In case the axe does fall.
The nail bites deep in the wood as per plan,
The carpenter does what he thinks he can:
No plan can counteract the destined fate
Of an amber tree crashing on a gate.
A film I've long wished to see
showed peps a way out of sight.
Watching alone set me free.
Scouts with cookies knocked my night.
THE RAIN IT DOES POUR
FRANKLY, WE DID WIN THIS WAR
