A toaster is the wise old sage of the kitchen,
Fire's bread with "Plato" steadfast position.
Chrome reflects light from the cosmos' gaze,
Like "Nietzsche" on a morning haze.

He lives in a world without a world. He has only his universe in his mind 
Contemplation, analysis, and meditation on life. He is alone – an objective
His mind is like a top lens, an analyzer laboratory, an ultra-sensorial scientist

Different from the humans’. His life is separated from the general being and life

Diary Of A Philosopher

Scent of tea arose
knowledge is my obsession
sealed like a locket.

Rousseau in the Happy Land of Sleep

The first modern man and honest human
A lone father from Plato’s Republic
An innocent dove corrupted by man
But who learned how to play his soul’s music
Though his flesh by decree was frail and sick
Whose love was philosophy with her veils
Though he was pelted with rocks by man's gales 
Now on the island where angels still cheep

Dreamer's Serenade

The story of my life
It started the day you came….

On an eastern-painted sky where clouds adrift play 
My poet’s eye wanders through realms astray. 
Beneath a twilight sky that speaks of dreams yet unfulfilled
Dreams soar like melodies on owl’s wings in flight.

Her scent of jasmine lingered somewhere out in the night.

He’s also a number one fabulous fantastic son
Just not on soup much due to work, college and such

Friendly sage from the starless height 
Now dying without fright 
In his human and earthly sight 
The cosmos dimmed its light 
Dying from old diphtheria 
Still his will looked higher 

He lost his voice to teach and greet 
That poured wisdom so sweet 
All he could do was meekly bleat 
Uclers formed on his feet

The Weaver of Worlds

From embers' breath, on the weathered stone, I write,
A firstborn whisper, birthing meaning's light.
A symphony I hum, a nascent tongue,
Language, a seed, from fertile silence sprung.

In sun-drenched squares, where minds in combat meet,
I clash with Logic, ideas at our feet.
Confucius whispers wisdom, on the wind I sigh,
A weaver true, shaping destinies that lie.

Across the plains,

The Fatuous Philosopher

I am a philosopher
Of great mental acumen
I like to blow my own trumpet
As nobody seems to mention

While enlightening people
Of all hues, I think not twice
Morning to noon and noon to night
I love when people seek advice

Questions myriad on one's
life, future, and future wife
If their foreseen future is bad
Will better halves manage their life

Somewhere in time this Philosopher stonily ponders...

A poet (quite familiar with yours truly)
sat at his computer
trying his darnedest to craft a rhyme
imagining when both parents
of mine lived during their prime,
when me creative father acted out mime
though an amateur
his visible talent throwback
when Vaudevillian actors/actresses
(during silent film era),
whereby the spectators
(filling up an entire auditorium)
could hear kerplunk of
