February 24 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 31-32
Key Verse – Numbers 31:3 And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO ARMS US TOWARD VICTORY
Praise be to God for arming us toward victory while:
Winning against selfishness
Walking along His strength
Warmed by His salvation-security
Warned against arrogance-spoilage
Witnessing His miracles in our service
Numbers 31:16 Praise be to the Lord Who admonishes us
to beware of committing trespasses that can cause:
Plagues of sin-despair
Problems so discouraging
Poisons through deceit
Perversions and degradation
Pestilences midst disaster
Numbers 32:12 Praise be to the Saviour
for leading us to follow Him wholly in:
Going to war against unrighteousness
Giving the best worship
Growing in His will
Guarding faith from wiles of enemies
Guiding others to do well for His glory. Amen!

Seek Peace And Pray

Man can’t get along because of our divergence,
and owing to this we live in constant dispute.
We play the race card and wait for resurgence,
we perpetuate false narratives and often confute.
At each sunrise, seems somewhere, there’s killing,
or taking property that with another does rest.
With thought and malice, blood we’re spilling,
and to get what we want we strike and protest.
We look around and see prophecy being fulfilled,
and know from this that man’s days grow short.
We shed tears and pray for those yet self willed,
for all will face a judgment, held in God’s court.
Matthew 24:6-8
6 and ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
I'll walk through ice and numbing snow
Though slaying cold be its freezing feel,
And trek through roasting deserts drear,
Taxing grip betwixt soil and mortal heel.
Not lonely climes shall my strides deter
Though forbidding such motions prove;
Every steady step sturdier than the last,
Toe and sinew shall defy earth's groove.
Past shroud of searing beams and heat
Shall these wornout soles tireless tread;
Every tactile kiss knitting earth and heel
More painfully spewing its slicing dread.
Neither immobilizing blow nor chill's bite
Shall these gallant legs dampen or slow;
Against menacing pestilences and trials,
Must this walk persist past darkest woe.
What are thou
but just a flower
heart defiled
Gone
grown and strong tower
waiting to be for the devoured
by the pestilences sorrow
Grown
Infected infested jowls
Rose bud where hast thine powers
Gone
But just of a flower
Withered and gone with no power
Bloom, stem, petals withered and devoured
Gone
Withering Rose what are thine now

When the news of life gets a little too much,
and anxiety seems more than we can bear.
We sometimes think we’re in dire need of a crutch,
and God distributes relief for our despair.
Few things often succeed without a game plan,
for things hardly, if ever, fall into place.
It has been that way since early time began,
the nature of the beast as we run life's race.
Matthew 24:7

Is The End Nigh?

The arm of God’s grace is long,
And His return is without warning.
While many fear we near the end,
I see Joy coming in the morning.
We’ve seen the decline of morality,
Some now kill at the bat of an eye.
Prophecy says we’ll abandon Israel,
So we know that the end is nigh.

F-- False Prophets risen famines, and pestilences
T—Tempers take no heed many shall be deceive
H-- Hell's here now hater of nations “it's alright believe”
E-- Earthquakes, in divers places sound, iniquity shall abound
T—Turbulence times be no troubles many shall wax cold
I-- I am Christ many shall come in my name, saying?
M--Many false prophets shall rise tell you lies, and
E-- End is not yet here endure unto the end
S-- Shall end come afflicted kingdoms against kingdoms

Sacred Scriptures and the seers of the yore

Nation rising against nation, brother against brother,
Of the worldwide pestilences, famines and earthquakes,
Four angels standing at the four corners of
The earth holding back the four winds,
Hail and fire, mixed with blood come pouring down
Enhancing the wickedness and the love of most will grow cold.
Time is at hand when people will not heed sound teachings,
It will be time to destroy those who destroy the earth;
Many false prophets shall rise and lead many astray
Except the one who stands firm to the end will be saved,
Says the Lord, “I am the way and the truth and the life".

Hi all, I have recently completed a short and easy to use Pure Land Buddhist Liturgy and Prayer Book, based on the 48 Vows of Amitabha and Infinite Life Sutra. Here is the first verse:
O Amitabha, you hear and you see our trials and ordeals. Heeding our pleas for refuge and relief, you have raised the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss: A paradise adorned by virtue so gloriously infinite that its majesty mounts up beyond Meru peak. You bless all who rise to your land with Sage-hood, even those from the realms of perdition. We see that your land is untainted by the states of woe—untainted by pests, pestilences, phantoms and beasts!
For this Glory of Bodhi, we Vow for your Land.

It seems like countless people are on fire in hell;
Their cries from heaven is shaking the world.
Burning like ball objects is being seen in the skies,
Earthquakes, famines and pestilences are giving
visions of the second coming of the Christ.
The almighty Lord is giving us the warning;
The hell's monsters are ready to act.
Lust, adultery, prostitution and selfish generation,
Gays and lesbians marriages is increasing.
Ten commandments of the Bible is evaporating.
The Lord is setting the stage for the end
Although he never wanted to do this.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord and believe in him,
for he may come soon to make his judgement.

The reflection of history
on the lake of time
is a repetitive cycle of dark and light.
Every once in a while
a drop of change falls
to create ripples that reach the borders of humanity.
The greater good has no victory
nor loss, but constantly battles
its opponent to balance nature's way.
The war is fierce and fought in silence,
humanity only experiencing the shifts
of a game much larger than our comprehension.
Sometimes the drops turned to gallons
and we reached a new dawn
to find that time perseveres, but night returns.
Sometimes storms wreck and we barely survive
between wars and famines and pestilences....
But perhaps there will come someone
or something balancing nature at last,
setting dawn into eternity,
creating the last ripple in time.

Wars, famine and pestilences.
Death comes with a pension.
Poor people in this country.
Poverty all over, feeling empty.
Diseases spreading all over the globe.
Some mutated, some foretold.
Global warming sends a warning.
No one listens, it keeps on moaning.
Clean water becoming undrinkable.
Poisoning into the unthinkable.
Beauty that the world once held.
Destroyed by only a single shell.
Threats of war, they will come due.
A price to pay, because we are cruel.
Extinction presages as our future.
If we don’t all heed the bigger picture.
Terrorism is the world's axis of evil.
World in court, everyone is blameful.
We must be meaningful and do our part.
It's never to late to have a change of heart.
