Like a ferocious bull
trapped in a China cabinet,
She suddenly collapses
and in fury she seethes
and she cries and rages
Only in deep prayer
does she find inner peace;
Her turmoil churns,
She's manifesting magic
and manic moon phases.
Deep-seated pain
from a lack of self,
deeply profound
it loudly rings
through every ripple,
of her past and future
Feathered hair
covers a tear-streaked face;
The Gods know of her;
They see her soul scars
and the etheric sutures.
Her sobs quietly fade
as Sorrows of Deep Past
torment her soul
throughout night and day
I walk away in silence
and in my heart
swells Gratitude;
forever relieved
at her absence
Truly elated I am
that her soul scars
are not mine;
And for that Wisdom,
I know that
Unlike her
I was already whole

There lives a calm no storm has learned to break,?
A stillness older than the rising fear;?
It waits beneath the heart’s persistent ache,?
A whispered truth the weary soul can hear.
I loosen grip on all I cannot steer,?
Release the weight of futures undefined;?
The present breath becomes my anchor here,
?A simple vow to guard the fragile mind.
I learn that peace is not the end of care,?
Nor absence of the world’s untidy seams,?
But strength to meet each hour as it is there,?
Unburdened by the weight of “what it means.”
So mind grows still, not empty,
yet aware—?A sky that holds both
silence and its dreams.
I turn away from turmoil,
swell, and crowd
?To where the self
no longer needs to hide.
PEACE OF MIND
left hurt and wounded by my own actions,
yeah you started it but i didnt have to go there,
i shouldve just minded my business,
ignored the situation,
but i didnt,
i couldnt bite my tongue,
i couldn’t refute the anger you sent me in shockwaves,
words that i shouldve said but i didnt,
words that i shouldnt of said but did,
things i did in anger,
my actions speak louder than my words ever could,
all you seen were my actions,
you never even comprehended my words.

In the mere blink of a nightmare, I found myself rechained
and trapped where my peace of mind had once before
collapsed.
The die has been cast, an old challenge from the past, one
I thought long ago smashed, has incited another battle and
painfully thrashed my peace of mind like collateral damage
to aloofly leave behind.
It’s twenty-seven years later, and I’m altogether strength-wise
lesser for this matter. I’ve got mighty prayers but the sum-total
of tassels for the best in life have battered and frayed my energy.
It is retired and at rest, not lying in wait for another day or test.
Now, I’ve no choice but to fake it, declare it is just hiding and
there’s no abiding such when it's time for fighting.
I know I screamed denial, felt a heavy weight disintegrate all
to black. I remember holding him, sharing a crying jag while
watching my peace of mind pack.
My very heart, my special needs son, now full grown and still
at home, woke me in the night in a state of fright, “Mama, I
think I just had a seizure.” The next day came four more and
my peace of mind took its suitcase out the door.
To escape the tumult
And noise of the world, I unlock
And enter a secret door to
The serene haven of my mind.
I am a meditating Monk
Blissfully unperturbed; making
The most of my sojourn in this
Uncharted, tranquil Xanadu.
I repose, close my eyes
And sieve my nagging woes
Like a dreamcatcher
Trapping unpleasant dreams.
In a tabula rasa mind state;
I have no conscience of time.
I wade into and float on a stream
That creates no ripples.
Moments, a snail that crawled
To a standstill, the zephyr as silent
As trickling blood; my mind
Deep asleep while I'm wide awake.
Here, a welcome respite
Where echoes fail to respond.
When nature speaks,
It's below a whisper.
Here, I find
My peace of mind.
H e r e, I am content....
and free!
Peace of mind is the unique quality
of any individual person
depending only on own emotion
identifying personality.
Life is a struggle, life is a challenge.
Path of life is not smooth, but uneven.
On you, vast field of action is given.
You think on peace of mind, how to manage !
One may not go for conflict to carry.
Peace of mind is being’s priority.
Other confronts on own ability,
leaving peace of mind as secondary.
Dynamic activity at random
can never get along with peace of mind.
Turbulence and irritations entwined.
Peace may leave, while working in broad spectrum.
Enthusiastic aggressive being
hardly bothers about peaceful environ.
‘Righteousness’ is only criterion.
‘Work for each other’ : Song of life to sing.
In life peace of mind is not the target
Be compassionate and stand for justice
Be ruthless truthful to destroy malice.
Act always right, even peace to forget.
They asked for a piece of my mind—
so I offered silence, wrapped in gold.
No rage, no clamor, no thunderclap,
just breath unbroken when the world turned cold.
Peace of mind isn't a destination,
but a pact with storms I’ve learned to outlast.
Not the absence of chaos—but grace,
in the moments I choose not to cast judgment, holding fast.
It's the stillness behind my steady stare,
the fire I tame, not the one I unleash.
It’s walking away when anger flares,
letting go of what I can’t reach, finding release.
I’ve stitched serenity from sorrow,
threaded calm through countless sleepless nights.
Peace, to me, isn't some distant tomorrow—
but daring to rest in fractured lights.
So if you want a piece of my mind,
you’ll find it in the way I pause,
in how I fold my fears like paper,
and whisper “soft” where there was “because.”
I’ll speak not to conquer, but to mend—
peace isn't passive, it’s power, my friend.

During my time on our blue-green sphere,
I sometimes feel turmoil, living here.
I've found ideas I can release
to ease my mind and give it peace.
I do not need to have lots of things.
Pleasure is found in what nature brings.
I don't need to prove myself to my brothers.
If I'm okay with me, I can forget the others.
If there's trouble, and I'm thrown into it,
the "Serenity Prayer" is how I view it.
If I can change it, I'll try to do it.
If I can escape it, I'll say, "screw it".
Otherwise, I accept it and live through it.
All things must pass. George Harrison knew it.
I still my thoughts
until they're like the surface of a lake
gentle ripples soothing to the soul
I then invite a setting sun
to adorn this calmness
so it may linger on through the night

I need not build a mansion
to find my peace of mind.
I need no fleet of luxury cars
for calm to dwell inside.
All I need is a whisper —
a gentle breeze
blown beneath a clear, untroubled sky,
under a tree that leans above a quiet, streaming brook
casting a cool, soft shade.
The bright sunlight
will wrap me
in a tranquil blanket,
within a garden where even birds pause their songs in awe —
and when they chirp,
they shape a perfect measured harmony:
a choir of symphonies.
The whispering forests
and the calm mountains
blend a feathered harmony —
soothing the seas,
the open meadows
and my restless mind.
A light in the darkness
brings comfort and warmth —
like sitting near a glowing fire
in a silent home,
where soft music
plays not to be heard,
but to lull the soul to sleep.
Peace Of Mind
People Are Always Upset.
Even If You Know
Where It Is...
It's Not
Where They Thought.

I'm singing to get a peace of mind
In due time, overtime, sometimes near bedtime
When all obstacles are trying to distract me
So that I cannot see the full blessings
I sing Gospels songs to relax me
Songs to Jesus above
Praises with many of Gospel songs
The atmosphere can get toxic at times
I know that I shall keep a peace of mind
My joy will not be removed
Nor disapproved.
I was there before the burying
I was there before I lost my way
Peace laid there like “dude,
You traded me for questions
And not many people find me again
So can I give you a suggestion?”
Ripped my heart open and
And Took out a twenty pound dumbbell like
If you seek then you shall find
If you absolutely don’t look behind
Here I am!
You can see my toe sticking out like:
What I buried was peace of mind
