My Pets Are

My Pets Are My Most beautiful and valuable Possessions.
They are the most important things in This selfish world to me.
And when I'm gone, my Spirit will oversee them from the Sky.
They are the greatest gift for me from the Universe......from God.

For Them I am forever Grateful.
They bring such untold happiness, Peace and Joy to my lonely soul.
They ae the greatest Blessing.
May God and the Universe continue to Bless them greatly and dearly.

My Cats are the Love of My Life.
Whenever I see them And I am down, My Spirits immediately get a big lift or boost.
They are my protection from low Spirits- My Spirit Guide.
I love them So. What else can I do? What Else can I say?
I promised them I would never forsake them.

A Brief Moment in Time

Speeding to airport on way to meeting
car skidded on highway, somersaulted
landed in ditch, wheels whirling
plopped there, unscathed, stunned, calm, what next ?
Miraculously CAR LIFTED ITSELF
back onto road, continued to airport
arrived safely at meeting, EXALTED

MY CV IS ENOUGH!

Why ask me
what I hope to be?
Why rate my worth
before you’ve seen me work?

Is my CV not enough?
A story told so clear and tough.
I earned my degree
and dream to lead and to oversee.

I’ve been a clerk
and I left my mark.
Each line on that page
holds my skills and my stage.

So why the doubt?
Why push me out?
I have what it takes, can’t you see?
I’m ready to be the manager I’m meant to be.

blood transfusion

virtue is nothing claimed
nothing but acceptance
weary roads of unstable
to reach out to my mother
inherited sadness, taken-on imbalance
derangement of two, nobody understood.

the so-called wise woman said "ignore,
ignore the signals"
how could i be so ruthless
and oversee the madness
tying us through this long hall of the past
no one takes a step
neither could walk away
to break the curse and be brave
inherited cowardice, taken-on petulance.

Premium Member Nacpan Beach

On Nacpan Beach my dreams take flight
No past to haunt and no wrongs to right

Turquoise waves hum songs of endless peace
My soul drifts and all memories cease

While on holiday the skies are wide
Worries fade with the changing tide

Grains of cream-colored sand under salty air
Accommodate each blissful step without a care

Endless rows of coconut trees oversee granularity
The scent of the ocean brings unburdened clarity

As the sun dips low a variety of colors ignite
Over a golden canvas of tranquil delight

Lazily napping on a hammock between palm trees
Sleepiness whisks me away under the whispering breeze

Premium Member Peace on Earth

A wise man said “all you need is love.”
To satisfy our dear Lord above
God made us hoping we’d live in peace
That earth would be a gleeful retreat.

Imagine being in mist of war
Living in fear behind one's front door
Afraid to sleep, in a living hell
Listening for the latest bombshell.

Seeing dead bodies strewn all around
Innocents sadly heavenward bound
Glorious buildings raised to the floor
Been and gone, destroyed for evermore.

The Lord must weep to oversee this
It’s not the way we’re meant to exist
God created a world full of grace
For everyone in the human race.

Most folk on earth have a sacred heart
Knowing what’s right and wrong, from the start
All we need is love, those words so true
From a songster, who died from hate too.

2025 Contradictions

Project 2025, a tale that some have spun
Of less government, and more to come
Disguising rules and mandates with an ease
Using more government the right does please

Reducing funds, saying to trim the U.S. core
Now watch as their power grows much more
From health to speech, their views will tread
With heavy hands, it’s their right they said

Contradicting the laws then to claim liberty
With their intentions saying it’s the right to be
Drafting freedoms, written down it’s clear
But it’s to continue their distributing fear

Controlling us with their very own vision
Promoting more, in this country of division
To oversee us, reigning us in, and then to bind
Are all contradictions they’ve carefully designed

Your Rose, Love

Your petals wilt,
Your rose has resolute.

Fearing its completion,
Its ballet is sung,
Dragging its roots along
Your rose has begun withering.

Dirt covered masking
Leaves branching of torment
To drag your flower’s petals
Across the crimson pavements.

Your rose weeps and mourns,
Sorrow overwhelm –
Overwatering its cycle of growth.

Your rose wilts,
Yet you oversee its potential
Why must you carelessly love it?
Tend to its time of need, love.

Your rose requires – yearns
For love
Yet your love has become no more
Than a desirable response.

hollowed out form reverberates
with pulsations of the cosmic hum
everywhere all at once resound echoes
sound of one hand clapping of the bliss drum

glistening forehead and toroidal heart oversee
playful machinations of divine magnetism
as a receptor we delight in the play
igniting fully mind-body prism

The Girl Who Vanished

Deep beneath the old oak tree
Past the backyard swing I oversee
A land so baron, where nothing grows
The land I can feel, it somehow knows
What's been buried there by one so cold
May his conscience plague him until he's old
A precious daughter, taken far too soon
She met a man, her heart did swoon
Until she discovered his hateful heart
She knew at once she must depart
Fearing for her life, she mustn't stay
He knew he'd never let her get away
So he took her life right then and there
Now she'd never leave him to go elsewhere
So he dug a grave where no one would see
I pray he pays dearly, for it happened to me.

November

For some reason not even the earth could change my mind
The wind banging against my ears
And the dark night couldn't disguise it.
The oak trees could protest their judgement
And the ocean can keep wailing
But my ignorance can oversee it.
For some reason, there were more leaves than before.
The owls cries were easily ignored
Likewise, not even the doves were heard.
Reluctant, I had started to embrace the seasons
And with that, the leaves finally cleared
The ocean soothed
The oaks no longer croaked
For once
I felt blissfully unaware.
Yesterday everything was so loud
But tonight was so quiet
Even my mind no longer protested.
The only protests were the thumps of my very own heart
Even though the snow sourly embraced me
Summers' own spiteful touch lingered.
On that edge
A minuscule path of dying dignity
The seasons grew louder
For whatever reason.
And even in my bittersweet death
I was still nature's child
Caressed by mother nature herself.

Premium Member I live in a forest

I live in a forest
full of delightful creatures
I never know who is hiding in the tree line
we are surrounded by life
the middle meadow features tiny daisies
wild strawberries, clover and dandelions
a few stalks of Queen Anne’s lace oversee them
red mushrooms are small enough to delight the fey
verdent fern and moss grow around my oaks and walnuts
crepe myrtle thinks about blooming in lavender hues
in the evening we have tiny kamikaze lightning bugs
I live in a forest

Premium Member What's good for the goose, on becoming a mother

Today we celebrate Mother's Day, for those still with us and those gone away,
with hearts of gratitude we acknowledge and pray..
This current climate where state's see fit to oversee a woman's choices
and pass laws to restrict..
No one should take lightly the ending of a beating heart before an embryo is
viable and get's it's life start..
The pro-life movement has made this their cause but as of late our Supreme Court is revealing the flaws..
Passing state laws to end invitro fertilization which is pro-family.
What is their rationalization?
None of these unwanted pregnancies are "virgin" conceptions, so what
about the woman's partner, the male sperm injection?
If a woman's body can be litigated so, Viagra and Cialis is also need to go.
Our laws shouldn't set us back to the days of the Neander.
What's good for the goose is also good for the gander..

Bearing Gift One To Another

Quiet and beautiful is the day,
where reflection adjoins -
with bustling children,-
adorned,- with bright,- happy colors and a sense of thankfulness, glory.

It is a stark reality, that must be approached
with Family, Community and the support
of self invited Black Birds and
"just in the neighborhood"- Blue Jays,
comic relief streaking squirrels,
Cats and Dogs on their best behavior,
rolling eyes at each other, like Brother and Sister,
"you can leave it to us, don't be a doubting Thomas,
we have this handled,
save for a containment twitch of tourettes or an acquisitioned snack."
It is a big day for them to chaperone and oversee,
this takes calories.

I witnessed a few quiet moments and reflective genuflective blinks from each in this gallery of motleys,
they know.
How proud the children are that you confided in them.

And your heart is captured here and until your dying day.
He Is, Risen

Easter 2024

A sinless one pays the wages of sin
One in whom death hath no hold
An anomaly goes unseen
For thirty silver coins He is sold
Offending many with all he aimed to mean
That was mocked and frowned upon when told
That the Son of God had stepped on the scene
Calling out men to either be hot or cold

He died as was foretold
A matter put to rest
Tucked away in a tomb and a stone rolled
And time would do what it does best
To pass and oversee His ideals grow cold
Not knowing of what would manifest
When His demise was three days old

Word broke out of the tomb being open
Some talked of his missing
Others witnessed Him risen
To five hundred he went appearing
To whom His rising couldn’t be disproven
No matter the mockery or chastising

Then His ascension and came the Holy Spirit
That His believers could do as He did
By faith to live and to push every limit
And from the yoke of sin be freed
With Him in heavenly places we sit
And in Him we are a new breed
