No longer do i seek
divination through
antiquated sorcery,
Nor supplicate to nebulous
spirits in clandestine
reverie.
I renounce the esoteric, the
obfuscatory, the occulted
night,
For I have found an
effulgent, benedictory,
convenantal light.
My soul rejects
thaumaturgical illusions and
superstitious chains,
And clings to the
transcendent, the
veracious, where true
freedom reigns.
No hex, no sigil, no arcane
nomenclature can compare,
To the omnipotent grace
that answers every
whispered prayer.
Let the ephemeral
glamorous of witchcraft
dissipate,
I walk now in sanctification-
redeemed, restored, and
consecrate.
a leafless branch with me
but that's not what God did see
God spoke over me
of me He poured into
God spoke over me
now restored and renewed
for I'm a branch on His tree
a limb poised for prosperity
God spoke over me
of me He poured into
God spoke over me
now restored and renewed
fruitful purposeful
I longed to be
saturated with godly abundancy
pruned fine-tuned
precise in Christ
ready to be filled
In this new life
A leafless branch was me
but that's not what God did see
God spoke over me
of me He poured into
God spoke over me
now restored and renewed
a new creation in Christ
living an abundant Life
God spoke over me
of me He poured into
God spoke over me
now restored and renewed
God spoke over me
of me He poured into
God spoke over me
I'm now restored and renewed
September is busting out all over,
leaves with pretty colors,
fill the cool air.
A new sweater for the cool morning air,
will keep me warm as I pick up pretty leaves over and over.
I love the red and orange colors.
Birds of many colors,
are singing as they are flying through the air,
they keep going to the bird feeder many times over.
September will be over with new colors to fill the winter's air.
Gathering fantasies over here
Dog day stories having much cheer
Berries get loving stomp
Barbera wine we want
Arming our heart feeling cupid's spear

Red wagons, tricyles, electric trains.
Off to school exploring my brain.
Reading, writing, arithmatic each day.
But at 5, it was much ado about play.
New school, new teachers, new classes.
Honor rolls, lots of books, good grades.
15, working hard, covering all the bases.
New friends; so many different faces.
By 30, 2 kids and married for 8 years.
A time in life when fears and tears are real;
Life of dealing with mortgages and car deals.
A youth pastor, helping kids learn how to live.
When turning 50 and leaving 49 years behind,
We slowly learn to make the new step of time.
We are concerned with 401k's and retirement.
Spoken words are fine, but we want them in print.
By 70, I had resided in four different states.
I felt great, having neither head nor heart aches.
It was in 2019 when I attended my first NFL game.
Doctors, clinics, hospitals; mostly for exams.
The sun hangs low on familiar streets,
Golden light on memories sweet.
Laughter echoes through the evening air,
A season of freedom beyond compare.
This summer feels different, caught in between,
Not quite who I was, not yet what I’ll be.
A suitcase waits by my bedroom door,
Filled with dreams and so much more.
There are tears for the friends I’ll leave behind,
And excitement for the future I hope to find.
New roads, new faces, and skies unknown,
A chance to discover a life of my own.
As autumn paints the trees in gold,
I’ll carry the stories my hometown told.
Though change may come with a bittersweet call,
I’ll step forward with courage into the fall.
When my time comes to die
I desire neither heaven or hell
I seek to peacefully drift off
Slumbering in that eternal spell
Dreaming only the most pleasant dreams
No nightmares as my life seems to be
I don't want any type of judgement
Too many have laid theirs on me
I have gone on to more peaceful things
That's all I want my tombstone to read
No more worries and no more regrets
That eternal rest is all that I need
Many ponder the purpose of life
I question the reason for my birth
I've disappointed everyone I love
There's the proof my life has no worth
I've hated my parents for having me
And despised the fact that I was born
I've done nothing but disgrace my parents
Leaving them beyond tired and worn
If I could do it all over again
I would never have been born
Then I'd never see my mother cry
When I left her heart ripped and torn
I'm taking over this world what is trying to trap me.im taking over this world so that my mentality can be free I'm trying to take over my anxiety so I can explore this galaxy and I'm taking over of all the people with so much negativity I'm taking over this world so some day we can all live with unity and the levels through my life is starting to look a lot like an elevator constantly going up and down and every floor and brought a different moment in that time always feeling like there's never enough mind space for more motivation striding to anything better than what it's always bin
I’ve seen no flowers feigning a false grin,
Nor birds that with a cheerless face e’er croon,
Nor trees that fret in vain loss of lush green,
Dolphins depressed, nor weary waning moon,
Reindeers devoid of all their self esteem,
Polar bears that cannot take it easy,
Wild cats worried on a fuzzy vague whim,
Laid-back they live easy as waves in sea,
In peace as they practise a lifelong Zen
Of ducks that meditate whilst swim at ease….
Alas, he whose mind’s puffed-up seems but man,
Never at peace, how so fair wafts the breeze.
Smug at the crest of Creation’s long chain,
Beware O man, head over heart’s thy bane.

It feels like I'm dying, I can't survive this. I'm sinking with nervousness, I don't feel like this. I'm not this, I hate this, I hate me, get me out of here. I don't want to feel this, I'm worthless, I'm ugly, help me. My anxiety - it takes over me. It's the worst when, I can't explain, that I can't go there, I'm useless, I hate this. My anxiety. Help me. I'm getting there, it's stopped now. I can cope with this. I'll get there. I'll be ok. I'm fine now. I can breathe again.
(a simple breakup, in Senryus)
I said I’m “fine,” which
was absolutely true - just
not where he’s concerned.
Our story ended,
a cancelled series without
lesson or climax.
I was proud of us,
we ended things maturely,
no one told the truth
He wasn’t in my
life but somehow he never
left my contact list

A song for this:
Only the lonely by the Motels
Duel Challange from poetry soup
Prompt
Write a poem inspired by moonlight
Rules
Poem must include the word "moon" or "moonlight"
Won challange :) thanks for voting
Tonight the moon is dazzling
Looking from my garden
Gazing towards the lake
My heart did leap for joy
I began dancing in the moonlight
Majestic ripples in the water
Sent shivers down my spine
Stars twinkled in the horizon
Totally sublime
So, happy to be alive
Moonlight ~ eerie, will vampires be out !
I scream " where are you "
Come get my neck ~ bite me
Am I dreaming ~ or is that a howling wolf
Fixated in the moment of sheer ~ madness
My dog loses a pound of hair with each step
Buddy is a lovely pet, without a lot of pep
I follow him down the hallway which I just swept
Eighteen clumps of hair circulating make me feel inept
Should I shave the big hairy guy? Would that be bad?
I wade through a swamp of dog fur, it makes me sad
Do we have to eat dog hair in every meal? Asks my husband dear
I pull a clump of loose dog hair off Buddy’s right rear
Monday is here and there is nothing to fear, the sun has gone down, and the moon has turned around; time is hanging on the tree and patience is waiting for thee. I booked a ticket to sunset land to observe what was going on, the air was not clear and lots of racketeering was going on over there, so I set my ship a sail and move towards of the rail, but as I approached the center of the sea, a sudden mist came out of nowhere and filled the sky that hangs over the sea. The boats were moving about but no one could see what was transpiring in the deep blue sea. Everything came to a standstill, but the mist kept moving rapidly up the stoic hill. Throw the carcass into the sea and let the spirit walk with thee. The creatures of the sea will have a feast and dine with the carcass until the day is done. There is mist over the sea and it is taking my energy away from me, so clear it up before it starts swelling up your gut. There is a mist over the sea, and it is following thee.
