Premium Member The Wind And The Rain

Powerful forces reign over our world
some forces are evil, but some good
they have a power beyond our lives
if you could strip them bare as nude

Then maybe their power would defuse
but here you have wind and rain
two great forces, when combined so lethal
that they cause trouble to leave a stain

Last evening, lying sleepless until early morn
these two were shouting in full voice
makes one ponder to think so vivid
can cause much damage, like broken joists

In the small hours, listening so clearly
within the whistling wind in tune
joining rain's wetness running down outside
devastation ruling brings so much ruin

These powerful forces are beyond us
reigning outwith our feeble frames
be sure never to forget their venom
catching like wildfire into full flames

The Spirit of Longsuffering

Oh, how I thought this life was a sentence,
forbidden to serve, for this, my life-time.
Concerned each day, outwith God's calm presence,
that I was done for, gone, alone, and lame.

And yet with time, its continued along,
even through the darkest, it moves forward.
And I am still here, trying to be strong,
hour by hour, day by day, praising my Lord.

Because this long suffering is a fruit,
from that of God's own perfect Holy Ghost.
For I have been destitute, near-death, mute,
and yet through my pain, in Him, may I boast.

So by His great strength, may I humbly kneel,
and pray Lord, to come soon, and one day heal.

My Sarcastic Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven
so easily i didn't need to try
hell around us
Outwith us, only sky-water isn't blue its clear
Imagine all the people
Dying for today
Ahhh bisto
Imagine there's no s try
It is so hard to do
Something to kill or die for
And religion,
gone too
Imagine all the people
Dead in pieces
Even You
You may say I'm a dreamer
Wish i was the only one
I hope your all gone
And the world gets a chance to live on
Imagine no possessions-all those dead billionaires
I wonder if you can
be all agreed hunger now can not stand
A brotherhood of man-what a sexist saying
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world-i mean seriously we cant share space
You
You may say I'm a dreamer
Wish i was the only one
I hope someday you'll die in a puff of light
And hope the world will live humanity gone

Premium Member The Embarking of a Lightning Strike

Consider the beginnings of a tree
this wooden bark all comes from a seed
through the years of growth to materialise
producing wood meets many a need

But not every tree reaches its goal
some are stopped, providentially split
building up by a power of forces outwith
causing its end before it has to quit

Lightning strikes from way up high
coming down with ferocious force
stripping the outer bark like a force 10
leaving it bare like it's voice gone hoarse

The flames erupt at the point of strike
burning most of the trees inner core
nothing left of its productive growth
burned alive before reading its shore

Such is this world's end in sight
the embarking of a lightning strike
for then left bare stripped by fire
rejecting the saviour, listen to the liar

(It was based on lightning strikes on woodland and its effect)

Reality Break

Existing outwith time
or catching seconds
without counting
Strongest when i am vulnerable
Hear me through the loudest silence
I might not get out of this
but
never stepping back
falling through reality
and realise
i'm the crack

Still I Am

I hate me
More than any of you could
Still i am
The man who stood
Gravity couldn't pull me down
Looking through space
From the outside in
Taking each pain with a widening grin
Improbably Probable
normally curious
but curiously abnormal
Sliding down elongated giraffes necks
with glee stolen from innocence
Outwith so small to the vastness within
Take your best shot
I say with a grin
As my tears trickle down
i watch through them to see you all drown
Give up world
Take your own advice
The seconds between my first and last beat
Gods crushed between my fist
The amoebae grows a backbone
Your pains have found a home
Take this warning
as your staple food
Still i am
the man that stood
Strip me of time
and flog me with life
Rip me with lyrics
and blind me with sight
Push me down
with all that you might
Cause from this spot
i will stand
simply
because
i
can

Dying To Be Free

Somebody please hold me
Struggling to struggle
I wear lonliness
My vicious mind smiles at my sadness
Looking for hope outwith
Knowing that there is none within
My words pain scratched upon this page
I spit your pity in your face
All who look into my abyss are absorbed
Born to be sadness
And dying to be free
I hold my finger proudly
In front of any diety or devil
And all life in between
My voice the unheard scream
My mind insanities dream
My heart a broken drum
My soul a childs fairytale
No happy ever after or before
So ready to stop feeling
The sadness deep inside could smother God and all that he surveys
All darkness swallowed and light would turn in fear
All that i feel trapped within a tear

Enchanted Spirit

Enchanted Spirit

Instinctively following her own path and truth
Connected to a freedom outwith her skin
An unspoken language
Journey of life testing her resolve
Heart and soul interwovan like tapestry
She leads, protects, empathises and nurtures
Her ferocity evolving over time
She hears her inner voice with open eyes
Knowingly, she accepts and understands
As her outer shell fades like the seasons
Her spirit transcending over time
She continues to survive

Premium Member Santa At the Shopping Mall

Santa is at the shopping mall
The children are all lined up
To have a visit with Santa Clause
Taking turns to sit on his knee
Telling him of Christmas gifts
To be put underneath the tree

After their visit with Santa
A photo is taken together
To bring home with them
As a reminder spent together
The kids are pleased they saw Santa
Giving their Christmas list to him

So now they are all happy
They shout outwith glee
Anxious for Christmas to come
With the gifts that Santa brings
To all the boys and girls
All over the world

The Rhythm of Her Life

The Rhythm of her life

Without the beat
Her heart won’t flutter
Without the steps
Her life will stutter

A rhythm within
Drives her soul
A rhythm outwith
Makes her whole

The tune silent
To those around
The tune vibrant
Her inner sound

The music of life
A spring in her walk
The music of love
Flows when she talks

Sparkling smile
Happy she’s alive
Sparkling eyes
With beat she thrives

Premium Member A Mindless Universe

What is beautiful,what is no
Only mind can tell us so
Were Intelligence not around,
Why should pearls us astound?
For what purpose are they here,
Unless some soul to endear?
That coruscating sunset glow
Creates wonder down below.
A flower,delicate and wild,
Can reduce us to a child
Yet mysteries outwith our present ken
Will some day orbit within our scope when
We will strive our ignorance to dispel
In embracing the romance of their spell.
Can this innate desire to meaning find
Be but a pale reflection of an eternal mind?
