Sonnet 116

I’ll always feel this way. Love can’t be love
which alters where it alteration finds:
my driver, she – no matter how she grinds
my gears. I’d hardly term it, hand-and-glove:
it’s much more like a scrimmage, push-and-shove.
Relationships there are, of many kinds:
but whether pigs-with-lipstick, Golden Hinds,
one party is below, and one above:
one partner is the hawk, and one the dove.
If she’s the cheese, I am the humble rinds.
No matter where this crazy freeway winds,
there’s one thing that I’m always certain of:
a meeting (or collision?) of the minds:
a bedroom where we never draw the blinds.

Love Is Something That Cannot Be Explained

What about love
Is dating for fun
Being attracted to each other
Is a very interesting thing
However, if the passion fades
And the love disappears it will be boring
Just like you and your ex, you have broken up
So there is no need to keep mentioning each other
Or thinking about each other
It is meaningless and meaningless encounter
When love comes, you are together
And when the feeling is gone, you separate
Everything goes according to your own feelings
And you don't care about the feelings of the other party
If one party doesn't feel anything
The love of the other party will also be cut in half
It is forced to end like this
And there is not even a chance to appeal
It is really selfish
Love is something that cannot be explained
Sometimes the more you understand, the more you love
Sometimes the more you understand, the less you love
So it is better to enjoy life.

Political Butterfly

Butterfly is beautiful
So natural and colorful
They hops on every flowers
To seek nectar for food
This is nature at its best.

I have butterfly that I know
Wearing in Barong
Others in coat and tie
They hop from one party to the other
This is natural to them.

Where in the world
That these two butterfly
Has its beauty on their own
One is instinct
One is distinct.

  Kissing babies and shaking hands
A candidate’s boon and bane in most lands

In the USA, though, it’s hair-kissing and the shaky hand
of an octogenarian on whom one party is taking its stand

With sadness, that never ceased,
I watched your Father shot on live television.
I was living in Chicago and Elena, a baby
in my arms asleep.
Your Father, Robert had just won California
and “on to Chicago” was his mission.

Sirhan-Sirhan., anti-Isreal, pro-Palestinian ,
shot your father in the hotel’s kitchen, near dead.
I sat in Chicago, in tearful disbelief, and all I could
feel was profoundest grief!
Screaming crowds wept as deep crimson-
warm, blood seeped from your father’s head.

And here you are now with your lovely wife and
actress, Cheryl Hines, about to follow in your
Father’s footsteps!
Your voice may sound strange as you are
affected by spasmodic dysphonia.
I am just an extraordinary American because I
do not think one party is a religion whose
Ordinances must be obeyed and kept.

For anyone, who would like to see

Thank you!

A Legend Better Than Hakimi

A LEGEND BETTER THAN HAKIMI

Back in '94 partying, Gabriel met Christina,
frolicking and they really got personal.
They married though she's 30 years younger
and were happily married for 20 years
despite the fact they weren't peers.

However, Christina eventually decided
that she wanted them divided.
But when she went to her lawyer,
she was shell-shocked at what he told her.
He told her she was already divorced
twenty years ago, the idea was enforced.

And this is because 4 months after their union,
they went to Dominican Republic for a vacation,
Gabriel divorced her there as that's the only country
where one party can file for a divorce in a hurry
with the other party oblivious despite the dowry.

Gab said he did this because he knew one day
she would divorce him without him having a say
and she will try to possess all his money,
hence he came prepared donning his wise armoury.

Our Political Divide
Miracle Man Opinion

Each time a problem, of any kind, rears its head,
the establishment quickly looks for someone to blame.
Efforts should be directed toward problem solving instead,
but one party or the other goes all out to disclaim.

No matter what happens it’s the other party’s fault,
they’ll appoint a commission and hold kangaroo court.
Then ravage each other with a constant verbal assault,
while distorting the truth, to the media they resort.

Some wonder why many politicians aren’t respected,
they're adept at speaking from both sides of their mouth.
They cover their backsides and the people are oft neglected,
while our country is invaded by those from the south.

“When they call the roll in the senate,
the senators do not know whether to answer “present” or “not guilty.”

A Golden Age

A camelot on the horizon, ending a Viet Nam war, fallen walls and Soviet Union collapse, while the people dreamed on, in the midst of food shortages, starvation and death, loss of home and hearth and the promises of change amidst the Afghan push and independent rule for land and possessions, tighting the hold over the popukace.

People though, are creatures of habit, wealth comes at a cost, then power and greed seek more control until... one party rule without obstacles alone survive the intimadation and lie, truth ground to dust, given in to the ruling class, the loudest voice, self centered, preserved by the dollar sign, the elephants in the room.

A golden age, full of golden dreams and hopes of golden years,
promiseof streets paved with gold inlays and paths worthy of taking,
possibilities that faded with the times, mere memories now
of what could have been, would have been, should have been
had we only stayed the course.

My ramblings on the changing times.

The Sweet Princess

Once there was a princess,
Her name was Clarabelle.
She was as sweet as sugar.

She lived in a big palace,
With her mum, dad, and younger sister.
She had lots of friends.

The sweet Princess Clarabelle
Had lots of parties in the palace.
She met a prince at one party.

They fell in love,
And had a big wedding
With all their friends and family.

The sweet Princess Clarabelle,
And her Prince Charming,
Had three children.

And they all lived
Happily ever after.

Premium MemberDouble Standard

Political poems, political belief.
Either one side or the other.
War rages on with no relief.
Do we have to attack another?

A double standard applies,
in regards to political views.
When did beliefs, become lies?
What happened to the right to choose?

Our past president, brutalized everyday.
His supporters were maligned.
Don't attack the current president that way.
You may find yourself reassigned.

One party accuses the other party,
of corruption and misdeeds.
Their agenda thought dirty,
for the contempt it breeds.

Who is right, who is wrong?
We don't know, just think we do.
Our opinions can be strong,
but consider another's point of view.

Expressing what you believe in,
is what poetry is all about.
Not an avenue to begin,
using verse to scream and shout.

Premium MemberCongressional Confusion

Congress seething with bitter enmity
Enmeshed in heated meaningless dispute,
Beset with the loss of civility.
What one party vows the others refute
Reasonable voices leaders will mute,
Many bills languish under construction.
The congress is locked up in obstruction
Confusion reigns in the House and Senate,
Some lawmakers soiled by gross corruption,
Younger liberals do not want in it.

South Africa

South Africa

The rainbow paled in South Africa
the end of apartheid has ended, freedom for all.
Not quite, the poor in Soweto are getting poorer.
The difference it now consists of white poor as well.
The new leadership behave like the old one corruption
and shade dealings.
South Africa is practically a democratic one-party state.
Or was democracy and equality brought on too early?
It takes time.
What is there to say when people riot and burn down
the places where they buy their daily bread and have to walk for miles
to buy milk for their children, other than an act of despair.
Big business is doing well, thank you.
But nothing has been done to alleviate the suffering of the poor.
The rainbow state has lost its lustre.
If you wonder why the poor ran amok was the jailing of Jacob Zuma
Despite his failings, he has an African heart, which the new elite, dipped in white culture,
failed to see.
He is the chieftain dethroned and Africa bleeds.

Premium MemberAmerican Auschwitz

They simply had one Ministry of Truth
for news.
No others allowed.
Wake up, it's happening here!
They found a group to paint, as the
source of all evil.
Stores were closed, windows smashed
of hated businesses.
Book burnings? Now we have Social
Media churnings!

One group, blamed for Society's Fall.
They don't sport a yellow star, yet.
But AOC wants enlightenment camps.
She, the new Fourth Reich Squad Vamp.
Think it can't happen again?
It's already in progress here, my friend!

~THOSE WHO FORGET THE PAST,
ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT~

We are already well on our way to establish
Auschwitz tomorrow!
VOA was shut off due to your new Resident
in DC!
There is space now for a patriot's sorrow.
We no longer have a valid Constitution.
Just one party who seeks pain and
illegal, unjustified retribution!

I Learn the Present

I've told-
"No, I've no past,
Yes, I've no future
I'd no the first original
and I'll haven't been the eternity;
The past never seized me and
The future cannot touch me;
In me, I am a present only
The present is my beginning and ending!

Though they advise me always-
"Learn the past but not as a foreigner
Learn the history, read the Vedas
Read the Quran to possess the heaven afterlife"

No, for the paradise in me have no interest
Yes, I've no spontaneous wish
To travel to the liberal harsh and victorious defeated field of the history
Where the imperial greed, vengeance, ferocious minds of one party destroyed the other party

No, I'm not of the Quran as well as the Vedas
Where the followers of the scriptures are busy with the greed of heaven
And judge the believers of different doctrines as hellish

That's why still I learn myself
In me, I am a present only
The present is my beginning and ending!
