We are all like-men
one leg at a time
yet some stand out
trouser-ed or not
some become possessed
a holy mission accepted
subduing the personal ego
as did Christ, Son of God
First Risen
these are blessed children
of the Sacred Divine
Some saviors born.
Some developed by
trial and error experience~
like an artist's film
or a botanist's rare
orchid --
Some, not of the soil
nor lab, tempered like steel
of unearthly fire
Trump, a force for good
that evil will be compelled to
continually oppose
We encircle his lead
fellow conscripts of Heaven's
saintly unbridled army
pray for his continued divine
protection.... "In God We Trust"
as well as on our coins
engraved upon the soul of
Freedom Loving Men and women
the world over....
Those who think they are better than us -but still put their pants on one leg at a time like us
I am a young woman
I've knocked on hells door
and been returned
I've given up on my life
so my kids may live
and enjoy theirs
I've given unto my husband
so he may lead the
family as the head
Yet i've forgotten
exactly who i am
I use to be
young and full of emotion
I cry at sad movies
laugh at comedies
drink morning coffee
put my pants on
one leg at a time
eat sleep work
the American dream
live one day at a time
waiting on something
better to come along
disappointed at life's
hand that's dealt
because i got the
raw end of the stick again
so i burn the candle at
both ends
feeling the heat as
it takes over my body
with pain
causing another hurdle in life
I am strong
I keep pressing on
head held high
no regrets,
only the courage for
what comes next
She grouched, grumbled, griped and groaned.
We complained about her complaining.
She was a pain
Still we lugged her around to all family reunions
She could clear a good story off a picnic table in seconds
Replacing it with something dour, dank, disgusting and depressing
She is our great Aunt Constance Bee.
Here she comes now, watch the relatives scatter.
Same attitude, same gripes, same wheezing and sneezing.
She walks toward us one leg at a time, bearing down with a hard look.
You have to admit she is consistent, mother says.
She has enough consistencies to be predictive, actually.
On a good note, we know if we bring her, we do not have to stay forever.
The rest of them clap as we get up to leave;
which makes it easier to get out the door.
Which may be why we always bring Aunt Constance Bee.
Just a simple man, nothing to rave about
Put my pants on one leg at a time though I'm stout
Three meals a day
Snack every pay
Quite fat, need to lose some pounds no doubt
You get up face this world one leg at a time but oh how you run
always in a hurry yes you scurry but life's essentials you repugn
You walk and talk and move in quick but you dont' hear my cries
nor do you remember the little things, like the color of my eyes.
While passing through the sunken gardens;
On my way, after lunch;
A great bird, wings outstretched,
Came down from the sky, all hunched.
With wingspan between four to five feet;
He stopped me in my tracks.
His eyes met mine; they locked there;
That giant hawk of black.
From side to side he danced;
On one leg at a time.
While flapping wings, up and down;
The dance was just sublime.
For three minutes full, he danced; since then I’ve been told;
that it was a mating dance; my God, he was bold!
Farmer Cowboy
What's the different tween a farmer and a rancher
When there a horse involved in the matter
rope em, bridle saddle up ride em
giddy yup
Must brush them, feed them
Ride off into the sunset
holster up
Running down the trial
Horse shoes
Running on dirt, mud, sands and grass
Saddle up boys let's git tat dare varmint
giddy yup
holster up
beans in the cast iron pan
cookin beef on the open fire
shores on the ranch, work on the farm
still must put my boots on one leg at a time
I am a farmer cowboy
giddy yup

Life is a never ending series
Of highs and a bunch of lows
Where we're heading, what lies ahead
We really don't want to know
Let it all be a big surprise
We're just along for the ride
Some make a lasting impression on folks
Some don't as hard as they try
Some seem destined for greatness
Born with a silver spoon
But in the end, when your number's up
It's farewell financial tycoon
The most successful entrepreneur
Cannot opt out of the plan
It's not the size of your portfolio that counts
It's your value to your fellow man
When we really get down to basics
We put our pants on one leg at a time
So give yourself a reality check, folks
Be helpful be generous and kind
Life is really a never ending series
Of highs and a bunch of lows
Where we're heading, what lies ahead
We really don't want to know

He Puts His Pants on One Leg at a Time
By Elton Camp
This is a flip expression that I’ve always hated
For to demean somebody’s success it is related
This bit of conventional wisdom is made known
Often about the president or a king on his throne
But for any ridiculers, I have a starling bit of news
Pants can go on two legs at the time if you choose
In my case, since first wearing pants I did begin
I stand them up and with both legs jump right in
Or flat on the floor a fellow could decide to lie
Raise legs, pull pants on both he could easily try
So you mockers, why not lay this old saying to rest
Men can put on their pants in the way they see best
Turtle soup in Zimbabwe is a delicacy
Caused fights between my siblings and me
Alas, due to the shortage we couldn’t eat it all at once
So one leg at a time which left them with a bounce
But a funny thing happened one day
One of the buggers decided to run away
Now our turtle soup has never been the same
I was the youngest so I took the blame
We looked high and we looked low
But had to settle for the scraping from dad’s big toe
Alas, our turtleless soup now has a cheddar edge
At least we have it served with an extra helping of veg.
If you ever in the town
And happen to see it bouncing on the ground
Call me
And we’ll cook’em and have him for tea.

Playing outdoors is so much fun, so much,
dirty fun.
PAT, PAT!!
She see me, she is coming.
THUMP, THUMP!!
Off to the room, with hollow bed and shiny
knobs.
WREEK, WREEK!!
Liquid gushing out, filling the hollow
space.
SHHHSSSHH!!!!!
Stepping into the liquid, one leg at a time.
BLUP, BLUP!!
Grabbing the man, the duck.
Playing inside is so much fun, so much
clean fun.
SPLISH, SPLASH!!
