[ “Everybody deserves a second chance!” ]
Within my existence, I’ve been burdened with low esteem
I was entangled within the ‘unconditional forgiveness’ cycle
To know my worth seemed like a mere dream
My forgiving being? My confidence had no survival
I was perpetually wronged throughout my life
Yet I pardoned those who wounded my being
Whenever I was met with strife
I absolved, my worth I was overseeing
But you’ve hurt me, beyond repair
And I know that for a fact
You shattered my conceptions, but now I’m aware
You can’t keep up this stupid act
Your expression twists into feign hurt
So fake it makes me want to laugh
You’re an idiot if you think I’m not alert
It’s too late for apologies on your behalf!
Destroy the peace
Screw the past push-over me!
Because of you, I feel my worth has decreased
You don’t deserve me, I know you agree
You’re frivolous, your words I won’t allow
So I’ll be fair, I will take this vow
You “want” to stay within my life, you ask how
It’s simple!
Face me now.
This planet is the farthest flung outpost,
of what?
We know we are the verge,
the utter outer rim of everything else,
yet direction and point of aim
around the edge of the immeasurable
are as meaningless
as depth without surface,
The Center of the incomprehensible
has promised us
that we are the very pulse of all that is
or ever will be.
We are not lost in space,
or any construct of time,
we're just stuck in the mathematics
between beginnings
and endings.
Nevertheless,
thank you for showing up.
Beyond the here and now, I flew
Into a sky, cornflower blue
No drifting clouds to block my view
I lose myself, in search of you
In respite from the noonday sun
Beneath an oak, thoughts on the run
No sooner than I had begun
You're in the frame and we are one.
I felt your presence growing near
As though you whispered in my ear.
No longer will I be in fear
That you were lost forever, dear.
I grieved for you through time apart
Wounded as if by poisoned dart.
Beneath this oak, I now impart
Vows of devotion from my heart.
*Thank you, Danny Turner,
for offering me your lines.
I hope I've done justice to your verses.
Grandma always wanted color in the house
But grandpa said no
She threated to leave him
She threatened to go
He told her to go ahead
acting like he did not care
She stayed around until his death
upon a kitchen chair
Two weeks after he died Grandma began to spend money
This was forbidden when she lived with her honey
She threw out the browns and blacks and brought color in
We loved the changes she made, this was a big win
She painted her walls,
She painted her chairs
She knitted pillows and afghans and such
Her house is full of color now, thank you very much!
He would find he cutest photo of cats dressed as Napoleon or Cher
Throwing them into contests that were always judged so fair.
I laughed aloud when I saw Queen Sheba or Astronaut Glenn.
Jon always found the cutest cats, many of them not a sliver thin.
We entered each other’s contests, and took prizes off each other.
Jon was a confidant, a friend, more affectionate than a brother.
His poems often rose to the place of gold, and I would give it a star.
Not knowing until the end that it was from Jon’s sweet poetic guitar.
Jon and I both had an appreciation for humor, and we liked cats a lot.
We put in HMs often, and my poems often slid into a winning spot.
Comments would get crazy as back and forth we would often go.
I really miss this poetic master, this contest holder, my friend Jon Coe.
He is in heaven now, surrounded by his cat, Zeus, the big meow.
He stopped to get him on the rainbow bridge's joyful brow.
He is probably reading these poems and loving them.
This poem is to say thank you Jon, now rest. Amen.
We are prophets, living our soon-to-be past lives,
We shall learn the truth when the time arrives.
For now, however, live as though you're meant to thrive,
As though your future selves will thank you, for staying alive.
Dear President Biden,
STOP RUSSIA AND PUTIN NOW!
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW
2,000+ innocent civilians slaughtered in Ukraine in the first 6 days of war
Over 100,000 Ukranian refugees 'safe' in Poland or Romania.
(UN states over 1,000,000 Ukranian refugees already created.)
ONLY MILITARY DEFEAT AND/OR DEATH WILL STOP PUTIN
SANCTIONS WILL NEVER DETER HIM - NEVER
YOU, MR. PRESIDENT, CAN SAVE TENS OF THOUSANDS, IF NOT MILLIONS
OF LIVES! --or the blood of those killed will be upon your hands,
for failing to act when you still had the chance.
TODAY IT'S UKRAINE. TOMMOROW, MOLDAVA. (Next up).
THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, IT'S THE UK AND THE USA.
ACT NOW, MR. BIDEN. DO NOT WAIT. DEFEAT RUSSIA AND PUTIN.
Thank you,
Gershon Wolf
Driven by fear of yesteryear
Forgetting we lived through
Hardships, disasters, calamity
Nature brought on queue
Though those times were difficult
Hope we had reserved
Light had beamed from joy we dreamed
Blessings had been served
Count your blessings
Say thank you for all the greater sent
To be happier in life;
Decreasing discontent
Build up by leaving be
All we can’t control
To shape ones bed and rest ones head
To nurture deep ones soul
Will only form us stronger
Throughout such filth and bile
Returning to the now of new
Solely is worthwhile
For great is life in this space
On this world-Respect
When living in the moment
We reaped rewards correct.
As I lie here often I wonder wander
Often in my sleep I toss and tumble wandering
I pondered the direction of my life
I turn away for hurt harms and strife
Repenting of my sins
Throwing them deep within the ocean
And now I Rise
Covered in Grace so forgiving
And now inside my heart's beating
Now I'm truly, truly living
In earnest plea
My God my Savior has forgiven me
All my sins I have been relieved
I pondered my direction of my life
And I turned and followed your ways
Today
Heavenly Father I pondered my life
My direction and I turn from my evil ways
And now today
I come to you this way
Turn myself around
Now I'm having
All of this because I wondered wandered
I pondered
Those the direction of my life and I
Turned to follow your laws
My Lord, my God thank you Father from above Hallelujah

Gezundheit! God bless you!
Thank you. Can you bless me now?
I wonder. Why not?
Something to think about...
We bless whom we truly love
Parents bless their children
God blesses His --
His heartfelt wish that we succeed
We and our children pray for, indeed
Spin Now an Angel’s Gown
Dedicated to Father Johnnie E. Ross
When a tree so desires to sing and dance,
It becomes a home for the fabric of angels’ gowns.
Go,then, and as you pass that place —
Along the trail where you linger in wonder —
By your favorite white mulberry tree,
Where the silkworms were brought
To feast on favored leaves...
Pause
And, please, take a knee to God
For me.
So blessings may come from your interceding whispers
About my confessional pleas for mercy;
About my screaming hopes for healing. And
Speak, too, my praises and thanksgivings
For the blessings of my life and still living...
In all faith, voicing sacred verses, please
Touch the heart of Jesus.
~ Wells may spring!
Clouds may gently let go their rain onto
Vines that may reach swiftly on beyond reason.
And, notice! Wafting over you
From the mulberry branches,
The dappling dance of the leaves’ shade
With the splattering of sun in-between,
Inspiring your soul to sing
For my healing.

Thank you, Father Ross. And
Thanks be to God.

Upon a breathless moment in time,
A thousand hells do exist;
Within a paralyzed paradigm
A love is lost in the mist.
Where hearts are broken forever,
Amidst the never ending now;
As anguished sorrows sever
And tears break the bough.
A twinkling second of love lost,
Like mirages melting of mind;
A neglected nuance in frost
Caged memories are confined.
In an instant love is crushed,
And a lonely moment hushed.

JUST A MOMENT Poetry

Placed 4'th...Thank You
For my love is now
Every moment counts
As we take our vow
Cupids on their mounts
Kisses will endow...
Love eternal
Orchestral vibes
Spice nocturnal
Desire inscribes...
Love is held
In our hearts
Unexcelled,
You are
My love,
Now!

My first breath every morning…
a thank-you to the Lord
My heart beats then in tribute,
single note in heaven’s chord
My last breath every evening…
as I close my eyes to sleep
To thank him softly once again
—his grace now mine to keep

From ‘The Book Of Prayers’
Lord, thank You for humbling my heart from pride’s perilous cost
Indeed reaching out to me, sinfully lost
Thru the compassionate working of Your Holy Ghost…
Now, I can joyously yield to Your leadership post!
Lord, thank You for cleansing my body from carnality’s impurity
Indeed purging me from evil worldliness’ vanity
Thru the divine imputation of Your righteous authority…
Now, I can truly claim Your victory in fighting against iniquity!
Lord, thank You for directing my faith from false religion
Indeed leading me to You - the divine Surgeon
Thru the illumination brought by Scriptures to my soul's region…
Now, I can* finally escape from abomination’s dungeon!
*Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ…
