Nepal
Nepal I know little of this country, nestling
Among colossal mountains
It used to be a kingdom, but the king was so
Autocratic that he lost the job.
Later on, I have this from memory, one of the princes
Shot the royal family as they were sitting down for tea.
This didn`t help him to become a king,
I think he is

Himalayan High

She found a job near Annapurna and when she trekked around a turn
It was like walking into a wall of beauty, awesome like a burn
It sometimes stopped her cold; this display words could not surpass:  
Alpenglow on distant peaks, flags on a mountain pass.

Her ancestors lived by Polish rivers, but none were like Dudh

Alone in the earth

In this vast expanse of blue and green,
I stand, 
alone,
not a soul to echo my thoughts against,
nor a shadow to mingle with mine under the sun.

Here, where the earth stretches infinitely,
where the sky kisses the horizon with a lover's tender sigh,
I find myself an island in a sea of space,
solitude my only companion.

Amidst the peaks of the Himalayas,
Lies a land of culture and beliefs,
A world that's rich and diverse,
Where ancient traditions still breathe.

Nepal, a land of many hues,
Where harmony and unity reside,
Where diverse cultures come together,
And a vibrant tapestry is tied.

In the valleys and on the hills,
The people of Nepal call out,
With songs and dances, and temple

The body lies still, no breath to take,
A loved one's gone, a heart does break,

I measure out the flour and yeast,

I add some sugar, salt, and butter,

A Woman

A woman is strong.
She is loving and wise.

She endures,
She moves hearts,
She laughs and she cries.

She nurtures,
She commends,
She supports and she mends.

All for the sake of her children and friends.

A woman does all this,
And yet,
She suffers the dreaded menstruation.

In modern countries,
She can go to the store and buy things like tampons,
Tampons and pads.
