Was she mistaken for a flower…
a daffodil…a rose?
What other reason would a butterfly have
to land upon her nose?
Who does not love smiling
butter-flies
Flapping their wings against
clear skies
Who does not love the sight
of green
Oozing with freshness so
rarely seen!
A fellow who ignores the
colourful ambience
Might be blind,insane or
sans his sense..
The beauty of the falling
showers
& the fragnance of the lovely
flowers
Are Nature's genuine and
priceless gifts
The one who differs has lost
his wits!
Let us cherish these
bounties,feel their value;
Treasure our planet & protect
it too
Oh tree,
would I linger under thee.
To bask within your shade,
would leave me feeling free,
to sit, caressing leaves.
Oh tree,
how good it feels to breathe,
where water drips from top my sleeve,
I take my next reprieve.
To feel your bark beneath my touch,
tis more then I believe,
tis more then what my senses gifted me.
Oh tree,
what countless ages have you stood upon the green,
basking in the sunshine air, impervious to breeze.
What knowledge lurches through your roots,
and what you must've seen,
I wonder what your wisdom thinks of me.
Oh tree,
without you, where are we?
Would air still flow for us to breathe?
Would fruit still bear for us to eat?
I contemplate these questions three,
and pray to find no answers bleak.
Oh tree,
there be no entity personifying peace, but thee.
Sincerest gratitude and love there be,
for those dwelling 'pon the green,
who take all life upon their bosom and ween,
with love so keen.
Oh tree,
why are they killing thee?
butter flies are beautiful, they fly so gracefully.
They are so delicate to touch and peaceful to watch.
I love the different colors they bring.
When they come in the spring.
Butter flies will sit on your porch or a flower you grew.
I love butterflies! Do you?
Warmth. The sunshine radiating on my caramel brown skin. The gentle breeze
caressing my body so tenderly that I feel like I could soar. The sand penetrating the
cracks of my pruned toes.
Oh how I love summer!
The way the salty waves roll, crashing against the shore with its rabid foam. The
way the summer air seems to awaken the season of romance. The bright hues of
the sun setting over the glistening waters of the Earth's swimming pool. The palm
trees shading two lovers making memories, the sun dimming as if to give them
privacy.
Oh how I love summer!
A lullaby,
A simple song,
A poem,
A story not too long.
A gentle wind,
A simple breeze,
A thunder shock,
Nature's sneeze.
A flower,
Nature's beauty mark,
A lightning bolt,
A loving spark.
What seems so little,
Can brighten your day
Like nothing else,
In a special kind of way.
I love the world,
I love it's simple signs,
With natural
Perfect lines.
I love the world,
I love it's simple signs,
With beautiful
Crazy minds.
Everything about it,
I have to love it,
How can you not?
I love how it just won't quit.
Sugarcane Butterflies
Over the tarred road lies a land we seldom search
of whispering winds through sugarcane hills,
spills of sunlight chilled on butterfly wings
carrying me graciously through the open space
as my heart’s bass beats to the insects sound...
the freedom of the hills is unbound, wild
like the sunflower’s yellow to the sky
trickled water marks over the dry stream bed
out here...
even the dead is still alive.
Sugarcane butterflies of mad colours bristle
through the breeze that whistles around my limbs
as whims of flying invade my soul...
persuade my heart to melt out into the day
and rediscover what it is to play...without dwell
Earth’s love swells and grows my mind,
finds that sparkle that finds my smile
as I am left fertile in the land that surrounds.
Noises of the tarred road are drowned by the depth,
by the breath of the tree leaves that rustle,
the birds that bustle about the deep, green valley,
vitality, out here, is rich like pure honey without dime
just life...
just time existing as it should
could this be magic misunderstood.
Sugarcane butterflies...
you make me love more.
Cardinal sits alone
Red against a white back drop
Standing out from other birds
Glowing bright red wings
Flapping upward to the sky
Sitting alone in a tree
Cardinal where's your mate?
Left in winter lost in snow
alone to fend for your self
Cardinal are you sad
do yo feel true emmotions
Cardinals feel love for ever
Cardinals mate for life
There's always flying in pairs
They seem to love each other
but its just nature
do cardinals dream when they sleep
If so I wonder what dreams
Cardinals sleeping sound.
My firends love that world. We love the trees, the dirt, clouds, and the sky.
The problem is that the world is dieing. Can we do anything? Can we help the earth?
I can help!I can plant flowers and trees.
We can Recyle. There a many ways to recyle. You can recyle bottles, glass, plastice, andnewspaper.
There are manys to save the Planet. If we all help we can still have the great planet we dreamed of.
Born of winter's snow and gentle spring rain
Remembering Willow Pond, where our dreams begin
Where wild geese swim, then fly away again
Beneath shaded coves, where other lovers have been
The fragrant smell of earth, green moss and peat
Where tangled grass and weeping willows lean
A crumbling bank, where cattails wash their feet
Our blanket spread upon the meadow green
Our campfire glows, playing flirting games
Ashes drift like feathers, smoke curls into the air
Burning embers, teasing flickering flames
And love smolders warm, a kiss in the evening fair
Trees sway and swoon along the bank
Leaves flutter in gentle evening wind
With each breath of warm summer breeze
It brushes my cheek, as daylight ends
Willow pond, the place where love came alive
We loved....under the stars of the twilight skies

Water/Earth/Fire/Wind For Barbara's contest
Bud, flower, blossom forever
Fragrance tower, falls never
Satisfies lover, with love cover
So do ever, love flower

I love this time of night.
The sun has almost set.
Pink and lavender splashed across
the sky.
The deer cross in front of my window
Headed for wherever it is they rest their
heads at night.
The heat of the day has gone,
Replaced by the touch of a cool breeze.
All the days stresses melt away
Replaced with a peaceful serenity.
I love this time of night.
Oh! how i love the rain
to watch it's beauty
fall from above
like the tears of angels
washing away the scars of yesterday
it's always the same
TRUTHFUL
POETIC
STEADY
It can be gentle
like a first kiss
or angry, as a last goodbye
it never gets lonely
always consistant
DRIZZLING
POURING
POUNDING
What beauty!
those countless tears
awkwardly falling
from the face of a bashful sky
i love the rain
PURE
PASSIONATE
CLEAN
UNASSUMING...
Soup and greens,beer and tea
buttlerfly young just love me,
aphid trap and liquid feed
ladybird heaven,yes indeed!
I love phosphate & nitrate soil
such versatility reduces toil,
my leaves quicken the compost
all this for free,at no cost!
Okay,okay,yes I sting
but for you its win,win,win!

Tribute to the utrica dioica
This morning I hiked a wooded trail
And while quietly strolling along,
I was pleased to hear a lonely quail
A singing his mournful song.
And then again this afternoon
While drawing water from the well
A loon began it's soothing croon
That echoed 'cross the dell.
And in the evening as I dined
While resting in the swing
A mockingbird was very kind
To perch close by and sing.
Then later, as I knelt to pray
In telling God, "I love You"
That, I wished to hear Him say
Just once, He loved me too.
Then Father spoke! "Don't you know?
My son of course I love you too!
I sent couriers today to tell you so
Did my three messengers not find you?"
