This Time of Night

I love this time of night. The sun has almost set. Pink and lavender splashed across the sky. The deer cross in front of my window Headed for wherever it is they rest their heads at night. The heat of the day has gone, Replaced by the touch of a cool breeze. All the days stresses melt away Replaced with a peaceful serenity. I love this time of night.

Hi Francine Before night time returns the skies are painted by Gods hands to leave beautiful thoughts in our minds so that we may begin to unwind and feel the peace and the calm as the moon starts to shine leaving us with silent whispers in the wind so that we may go into dream state to have pleasant dreams all night long, thank you for sharing your wonderful poem with all of us here in the poetry community, Sincerely Dean
