Premium MemberMuhammad Ali And The Pelicans

The man who has no imagination
has no wings…
- Muhammad Ali

 …………………..

They waddle clumsily
on webbed feet not fit
for treading sand
and their folded wings
just add weight to impair
their already awkward gait.
Pelicans are made
for air and water, being
landbound leaves them
deprived of grace.
Sometimes I flounder
like a grounded pelican
on the mud flats of myself.
Dragging my body

The Eternal Ember

The Eternal Ember

Decades are passed, an embrew slices Earth's chest
And countless Energy invests
It blooms
Bamboozles doom:
Decades past
In search of and at last
Pause and steadfast like mast,
It is swaying and living
It's breath giving
Spreading light and delight
Catches might and cashes bright
Twitter positivity in melancholy
Singing joy and cherishing cheerfully
Saying goodbye to pessimism
She

Firefly

Firefly

We were sleeping on balmy nights
Blinds were awakening in sticky October
People were waiting and whispering during the flight
Mob was ecstatic and somber.
Sylph, a beautiful nymph emerges from nowhere
She rushes and lushes everywhere
She fused folks around the globe
She knows how to handle the mob!
Glowing with grace and dignity
She wears the

Telemachus

Telemachus

Ask Telemachus!
Penelope is aware of your grief and glow,
Go on, don't feel low
You are her beach
Fly high and across every breach.

Ask him:
She lived with you in Ithaca
Wanna see you in Makka
Where there is a rift
Pure air always lifts
The sorrow of uncertain lot
And you never caught in the fret

Innocence

Innocence

Once,
Met with an image
Masked in modernity
Walked in purity
Smiled in serenity.
I stopped and reckoned,
There was a river
Flow like giver
Soul and body
Amalgamation of Chastity.
I acknowledge
There was simplicity
Wrapped into somberness
Dignity
Packed into Seriousness
Vanity
Dressed into richness.

Muhammad PBUH

In a world of darkness, despair, and wrong,
Came Muhammad (PBUH), with a light so strong.
Guided by Allah, the best of creation,
He brought to hearts a pure salvation.

With justice, mercy, and words so true,
He showed what faith and love can do.
Idols shattered, ignorance erased,

The Road To Home

Oh, My Dear homeland,
I yearn to reunite with you,
Not for your love alone,
But to tread the weathered path, winding beneath my village,
Laid with stones and scattered remnants of time,
In moments of disarray and wandering,
It unfailingly led me back to my village,
Guiding me to my mother's waiting arms.

I don't long solely for you, my homeland,
I ache

The Chosen One - a Tribute To Prophet Muhammad

Muhammad, chosen by Allah to lead,
A humble man with a heart full of creed,
His words, a guide to all in need,
A mercy to mankind, indeed.

In the land of Arabia, he was born,
A light of guidance, a hope forlorn,
To worship the one God, he did adorn,
And from idolatry, he did scorn.

His teachings spread like wildfire,
His message

What's My Name Muhammad Ali

What's my name
(Muhammad Ali)
By Michelle Morris
11/04/2021

I chose my own name and became a legend;
I refused to play your game and you tried to break me;
You lost because I rose and became the greatest;
I am a hero to the world - made it better regardless.

What's my name? Can you say it?
What's my name? I am

Our Honourable Muhammad Saw

In dreams
i am always lurched by soothing zephyrs
across the lovely streets of Medina

   Searching thy footprints
     in the pious dust
     ya Rasool Allah(s.a.w).

Every night i sleep with a hope in heart

I'M a Muslim

(Prequel after Poet Em Em)

I won't bend /yes i won't - never
I won't fall / never i won't
Even though my name is tied around the apron of ail
Tell them - I behold the protector of fever
That walks upper whiff above the soil - & is seen.
I'm one of the soldiers of God - but

A Common Man's Love Story By Muhammad Nasrullah Khan

I’m a commoner
fighting the demons of bills, of food, of life.
My meager pension enough to buy
slippers and a jacket at a thrift store.
Once, I sought stars
Now
I hide behind a trashcan of dreams.
I am a statistic,
known only by my photo ID.
A bomb blasts and news channels read:
Another sixty or so,
dead.
Death pauses eating
but soon resumes her feast.
I

We Were Born To Clap By Muhammad Nasrullah Khan, Calgary

Dear First World, Salute to you
Accept humble bow, from the Third World.
Thank you for the great lectures for fu***ing idiots.
Heads hung low, wide-eyed,
we clapped.

You sold us your notion of humanity,
we lived in a barbaric world.
You bombed to end the atrocities.
The boisterous sound of your missiles came over our heads,
we clapped.

You sent us tattered clothes,
and dried
