Two-chaired, langourous.
One, lamentable.
Seasons as heart-states apart.
Eve-sat. Outside; in
Be this yours and mine.
Rustic. Peaceable.
Summer love's full mooned, felt as.
That, frog-sung, sharing!
Consoled, yond each soothing watch
Mooned, starred tender-eyed
By what, fold on fold, slow for
Tis then felt pulled o'er:
A peace-wrap; of Night's own weave.
Less and less heartsore.
Traced, besides whose skied effects
Of that homeward care
The past, through what does shadow
For my ghost, below!
With new hope, new dawn on through
Will be stepping. Know!
A one-time backpacking zebra with a rah rah rah
Went down the mountain sliding down a long seesaw
We yelled hey wait! Don’t you usually walk.
He gave us a rude hand gesture; and a little squawk.
I did not know that backpackers rode down sleds I yelled.
He mooned me good, which I thought was even ruder still.
I was glad when he ran into a picnic table at the bottom of the hill.
Which was not kind, but it was the way I felt said my brother Bill.
He put his hand on my butt, at my age
Maybe I should have mooned him full of rage
'Twould be nothing like the act, he'd set stage
The eclipsed moon awed, let me give applaud
Spiritual thing broad, now staring unflawed
The eclipse was beautiful that long night
Years ago, when Luna flower bloomed white
As observed from my small place near the bight
Sad state of affairs, when man touched backstairs
With Him pain she shares, looks at moon upstairs
Hand on my behind at my old, old age
Left me distressed and somewhat confused, awed
Years pass, I don't cry during the dark night
Time has healed; talking with the Man upstairs
Tropic mooned, on the rise
For what's now eyed for love
Warms more the heart this, mid-day's
Sunned burning rage above.
A worrying thought came upon me,
what if I was on Santa’s bad list,
black coal it would be no toys for me,
my mind went blank and my heart fell,
Wondering, but who could I tell.
I waited for this day to appear,
Just wanting to see Santa’s reindeer,
a letter wrote sent some time ago,
wondering and hopping he will show,
asleep I went with giggles inside.
awake I was upon this Christmas night,
awoke I became with something outside,
there was a clatter upon the roof,
milk and cookies with a carrot on top.
Socks were hung with sparkling lights,
no sleight in sight this Christmas night,
a Ho, Ho, Ho, I heard,
running with lightning speed only to see,
Santa’s butt go up the chimney,
I heard a voice whispering to me,
Merry Christmas to all and to all,
A Goodnight.
My Favorite Vacation in Rhyme Poetry Contest
Holly’moon’
A girls’ trip, three hot chicks, and Cali
Disney, beaches, and no time to dally…
A looming hill with huge letters beckoned
Dared us to climb; we agreed in a second…
Three ladies in mini-skirts, dirt-smeared
Thoughts of breaking the law gave us no fear…
Knackered, at last, the peak came into sight
Quickly, our bodies were drained of delight…
The “HOLLYWOOD” letters were enclosed by a fence
So people like us wouldn’t climb and spread prints…
But we made a choice; didn’t care if we should
As we hiked up our skirts and mooned Hollywood!

Memories of distant past
Gently taps this lonely soul
Those faery days
Tip-toed about and whispers,
"Little one, come on and out,
Adulthood is depressing and ruthful.
Look at the green pastures,
The shiny vale,
The playful glow-worms;
You made them lonely hearts.
Come on and play once more, come on.
Look at the rainfall,
The bubbles out there,
Longs for your sole company.
Why mooned about here now?
Burst out in laughter.
Why rueful, kid?
Remember your childhood, and come back.
Adulthood is darkness;
Growing, a curse
And almost always
Happiness has mere chance
Close your eyes, child,
And come back".
"One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things" Henry Miller
out
amid the blanketing
eclipsed
along pas(t)sed
appeared in her gloaming
a ne'r nether
of nighttime sky
searched by starlight
mooned
where no beginnings
nor any ends
beheld
bathing in a
darkness of time
solemn I stare
where footfalls fell
in patterns of three
as if dancing
in a never ending breeze
a ballerina
light as the snowflakes
melted on the tips of tongues
to go back to when we were young
what verses would be sung
would we do it all again
I traipse my weary feet
across the valley of your dreams
a spruce of blue
looking only in the shadow
of you
an emerald of peace
cut to precision
adorned at the nape
of her echoes
far
but not out of reach
Vested in true intimacy they had no need for once yearly roses
Affection was not meant to be a calendar’s short-lived affair
Love and compassion would not be governed by one single day
Endearment for his darling could not be measured in trite trivia
Not a day passed without kisses’s passion and caring romance
To be married in all weather conditions required no reminder
In truth the couple had eloped together and never looked back
Nested in sweet feather’s comfort they spooned and mooned
Embraced and tickled their wedded devotion and infinite fancy

*~*~*~*~*~
We danced on the silver-mooned balcony.
How perfect for our wedding anniversary!
The band music enclosed us like a seashell.
We were just silhouettes in black, dressed like swells.
Kissing, remembering the sweet call of our vows.
Your voice, soft as the sound as a leaf in a Spring tree bough.
Our hands may be wrinkled, our hair may be gray.
But how wonderful to know, our love is here to stay!

1:15pm PST
Shimmering over a glassy sea, a moonlight carpet beams.
My walkway high to a starlit sky of memories from my dreams.
There mighty Taurus, rip-snortin’ bull, lowers his horns for battle.
Naked on his shoulders Seven Sisters ride side-saddle.
Dazzling diamonds, blue-white ice,
blazing through nebulosity.
Merope mocked and mooned me twice,
twerking with faux ferocity.
“Begone now, mortal, from my sight,
who dares defile the very night.
Look down upon the moonlit glade,
bear witness to the mayhem made.”
Agape, the Pleiad sisters wailed while yonder Cetus spouted.
“The culprit must be caught and jailed,” the rueful Virgo shouted.
The heavens heaved, so much offended,
torn fabric of time could not be mended.
Then darkness fell like a clap of thunder,
were it not for Einstein’s Biggest Blunder,
the Universe was blown asunder.
Who once wrote “God plays not with dice,”
had not known anything of such vice,
said: “Reading erotic poetry can’t compete with cosmic knowitry.”

Mr.Moon I have some questions,
I demand you tell me so.
For you've caused a lot of trouble-
Beginning long ago.
Mr.Moon I need some answers;
For I'm building up my case,
Every one around the world;
Called me a disgrace.
Firstly why did you stalk me and
Follow me in my journey?
Am speaking to you; right to you,
From this public gurney.
Was it the stars?
I know they are your friends,
Mr.Moon I'm trying hard here;
With you to make amends.
Mr.Moon I should not had mooned you;
but why did you tell sun?
To get a few mere answers;
I'll admit that you have won.
Why do you moon me?
Why can't I moon you?
Soon the doctors of this place;
Are doing my review.
C'mon, we be friends,
Give me some suggestions,
Will take heed of what you say;
Please answer these few questions.
Her blind date had arrived right on cue,
her jeans as tight as a cocoon,
stepped into the night,
"ripped" noise what a fright,
exposing her hefty full moon.
Thank God she had brought a sweater,
tied round waist she felt a little better,
till dog came around,
pulled sweater on down,
full mooned ran after the irish setter.
