Misjudging Poems | Examples

IN A WORLD

"In a world full of deaf listeners an artist sings the song of his heart
In the hope that someday someone will embrace his art,
In a world full of trendy liars,
An old painting is still waiting for its silent admirer,
In the world full of blind critics
A poem is somewhere afraid to express its lyrics,
In a world full of fake feelings misjudging a story
A writer is trying to hide his untold glory,
In a world full of people who are just alive
We my love who live are trying to survive "

What plot is this, what dark and muffled muttering,
so sinister and secret in the morning fog ?
What evil beings are these black cloaks covering,
so earnest and impassioned seems their dialogue ?
How cruel and misjudging to suspect them thus.
Huddled against the chill, they’re waiting for their bus !

Rise Out Of The Ashes

Filled with apprehension the heart pleaded for sympathy

Eyes desperately focused beyond normality seeks a sign

When anguish mount while darkness insists on lingering

Do we deserve sheer punishment for misjudging gloom?

At times love misinterprets emotional ache as an excuse

Must it lay silently underground until it freezes for good?

If even just one promise attains autonomy from disarray

Plant a kiss, a subtle embrace, and rise out of the ashes!

Premium MemberThe Love Language

Perception is only 10% of understanding,
What the love language is.
The mistake we make is looking,
Inside of our heart finding complications and,
Misjudging the sincerity of the true heart.
What is the ultimate love language?
Looks, feelings, emotions,
Touching holding
Looking deeply into your soul as your heart,
Glows with undeniable love.
Then the slight glance of your eyes,
Sensing the attraction as I look and,
See the glisten shining on your lips,
Then I feel the soft sensual kiss,
As if you reached in and touched,
My heart and soul.
Yes, this is my love language.

Advising Nigerians Outgoing President

To The Now-Pitied President
No longer thought God-Sent
The making of superb contacts
For entry into cleaner contracts
Is a command to avoid patched-up pacts
And-trust-me – costs you True Logisticians
Besides Sincere Magicians;
If the packages are not to hit the rocks
Or more keys appear with stubborn locks;
“If truly thou seekest a final Turn Around
That shouldest not later sink underground…”

For stiff orders you might bark
And mighty millions earmark
But Glorified Brains the cracked
And Misjudging Misfits the backed,
Progress, sure, shall slack
And one begins to Loyalists sack
The Guys one once shook their hands drop
And their disarming salaries stop…

Now, you are rather The Outgoing
And faster thoughts won’t be flowing,
For so it goes with injury time
While Careless Clock continues to chime
But there really was an F. Kennedy,
After 100 Days, ready remedy…

So, while this Counseling Milk you suck,
I wish you A Suckling's Good Luck.

1950's Traffic Jam Revised

We had a car, not many did,
financed and fuelled by bread and jam,
food deprivation that I hid
from jealous kids who’d mock the sham;
pride misjudging as a winner
Ford denoting "Forfeit dinner"

So while, no doubt, they envied me
I lusted their hot Sunday lunch
as they inhaled mum’s recipe
for dishes needing bite and crunch,
whilst dominating our car trips
my salivating yearn for chips.

A Most Diaphanous Seed

Occasionally heaven shoots meteorites
Some of them fall on gutters and drains
Without knowing among those some are
More precious than diamond and gold
After misjudging it as a worthless piece
Once you threw a most diaphanous seed
On her beck a bird carried it to a distant land
Being germinated, well deep it sent its roots
Well spread are its branches and each shoot’s
Flower turns into from delicate to delicious fruits
Who is left, you or the seed, to repent or regret?

Don'T Judge a Book By It's Cover

When you look at my skin tone
Don't categorize me
When you see what i wear
Don't dare label me
You don't know me
You just see my outside
I may be the sweetest person alive
Your assumptions are therefore unjustified
I may be the best friend you'll ever have
I may be that dream love if you chance
Instead of judging me by my looks
Misjudging me from first glance
Don't judge me by what you read
Or by what you see on television
Take time to get to know me
And form your own first hand decision

All of His Love

I can look into his eyes
I see his pain and misery
I see the lies behind
His broadened smile

I can feel the tears that lye
Behind his misjudging stare
I cant read the message
His mind is in a distant land

What do I do
When I lost all words
When I cant stop his tear
When he's gone with the
River beneath his feet

I love all of you
I just dont understand all if you.

Don'T Ever Assume

don't ever assume
when you've only seen the surface - maybe even
scratched through
a few layers -
and figured what was beyond
could only be
similar to what your mind
told you was there

don't ever assume
or listen without ears
or read between the lines
of the lines
that were
really in between the lines

because you end up misjudging
or stereotyping
and closing down your mind -
shutting all the doors
that the truth may enter
sealing out growth
and truth
and life lessons

maybe you judge
because you have all the answers
not for yourself -
but for everyone else
and feel that there are some
you can't possibly learn from

don't stand too high
and look down too far
if you do
you'll end up
at a standstill
looking only at the ground
while others
are zooming by
with their eyes on the road

Stretched Oven An Ocean.

The feeling of emptiness is all that is left with memories of I love yous and forget me
nots an ocean now resides between our touch but maybe that is just a little too much.

Building foundations that I know one day will fall but never thinking this is could be the
downfall of us chasing' nothing is what I do best because I am good at misjudging the
length of this gap.

No sympathy I cant find it for myself this was bound to happen no matter what I tell
myself this isn't the place where I keep my head but I can't keep my shots from hitting
the ground.

holding my breath as I wait patently as everyone knows this will consume my soul so
blinded by stupidity that I can break abruptly everyone sees this as a non just play.

As the door I opened shuts in my face I begin to wonder why I sought this out because I
knew one day she will sail away these sorrows I can't keep to my self.

As I weep for a love that isn't there, a heart cant keep beating and trusting if stretched
over two continents

I knew one day she would sail away with my dreams but still I let her hold on to them for
safe keeping?

Real Love

My Definition Of Real Love

Real love is a feeling
deep within your heart
an knowin that nothing
will tear u apart
Real love is knowing
that person cares
never forgettin the times
you an I have shared
Real love is gettin intimate
an not being scared
and even if you feel stupid
knowin that person cares
Real love is understanding
waht each other is tryin to say
and never misjudging them
if they feel a different way
Real love is forever
