Premium MemberIn the land of Ink

Ink Empress is my muse
Her poetry takes takes me away
To the land of butterflies and gems

Her metaphors are unique
Enlightening me to the fullest
I’m indeed impressed

And wow! What a vocabulary
I constantly have to look her words up
So I can fully embrace her wonderfulness

I’ve become a misanthropic lonely person
After my divorce
But Ink’s words restore my faith

When I need a lift
I go to Ink’s prose
And there I find happiness

While others go about their business
I sit and I wait
For what Ink will post next!

Thank you Ink for being such a delight
In a world that has turned so cold
You are the fire that warms us all

A rhino's eyesight is really myopic,
Perhaps that's what makes him so misanthropic.
His hearing and reflexes, though, are sublime,
He can turn on a nickel and stop on a dime.
The projection that grows
On the end of his nose
Is not really a horn, though,
As one might suppose.
And when he needs scratching,
There's another small hitch,
His legs are too short
So he can't reach the itch.
He's ugly, pugnacious,
Rude, and unsociable,
And his manners at mealtime
Are simply atrociable.
And should you insult him,
He'll never reveal it.
His hide is so thick
He prob'ly won't even feel it.

"Reading comics can take you to a happy place, so one can be a lot less misanthropic" by Poet

I have always been a loner, an outsider
like a real life comic book Ghost Rider
often, I feel lost and forgotten
sinking in an ocean of pain unspoken
been banned, shunned and stabbed by life's daggers
this has left my soul in tatters
I have always been a loner, an outsider
like a real life comic book Ghost Rider
I'm no Hellboy just a guy with a broken heart
being hunted by rabid sharks that dart
but, I do no harm to anyone, I'm a good guy
this hunting is wrong and I ask why, why
I have always been a loner, an outsider
like a real life comic book Ghost Rider
I like this life as an outsider and will be this until I die
because it's been a wild journey that I ride
I spend time reading comics of my hero Moon Knight
he soothes and calms me from fear and fright
don't judge me by what others say
not a saint, not a sinner just a guy trying each day
I have always been an outsider
like a real life comic book Ghost Rider
I have always been an outsider
like a real life comic book Ghost Rider

Premium MemberMisanthropic Squabbles

walk by the burial ground
ubiquitous queues of lichen
awninged tombstones string out

engraving summarizes
bold subheading
who was adored by whom

I slide the dainty floret stipends
turn into gleams
scattered embers
riding the withdrawn wind

The misanthropic ants
crawl on reality
as I sit by
     the river's edge

ruminating on
hellish collapse

meditating on
peaceful solitude

The river’s undulations
caress reality
as I sit by
     life’s edge

jaundiced spiritual heart and mind-

"Bitter am I
Resentful of your lit voice thoughts
Cynical “sigh” is this all you got
My rage is my tumors, enraged is my stupor
Soured my lips poison distorted
As forth in my ignorant I am bile
Running from my here and now
Disenchanted romancing the thought of you getting more than me
Disillusioned that we are the same
Disappointed because you hold the reign
Pessimistic at opt I’m all you got
Skeptical intermission unfaithful decision
Distrustful suspicious misanthropic
Jealous because what you got and don’t got
Envious of your wares, do you even care
Narrow-minded my hatred cause your skin is______?
Bigoted prejudiced what I got left
My spirit,
My mind
My heart and soul
My lips and tongue
May we one day unshackle our consciousness from bondage,
To our deep rooted narrowness surprise?
Guess what we’re just jaundiced"

Premium MemberImmortal Tethers Rein

superfluous drizzle
this tranquil cottage scene

April’s meadowlark sigh
sweetly symphonic slopes
green glistened gradient

hillside reeds rejoice flat
rejuvenation blessed
by philanthropic sun

illustrious wisdom
showers ivory slates
of winter remembrance

villagers swim downstream
lips kiss glimmered ripples
madly in love with reflections

how quickly forgotten
all quickly forgiven
natural mortality rates

the river wisely runs
babbles off mortified
naturally misanthropic

immortal tethers rein
superfluous drizzle

Nebulous Streams, Clouding My Brain

Nebulous Streams, Clouding My Brain

Sleeping death through timeless space
Nocturnal Nebulae that will displace
Misanthropic minds of clustered clouds
Bipolar builders of sacred shrouds

Elucidative echoes of enchanted eyes
Decussate delusions that shall arise
Carnal contortions camouflaging spheres
Deleterious dust expanding light years.

A Loathsome Critter

The pantoum’s a loathsome critter
Pantoums missed out on getting class
they’re so twisted up and bitter
each one knows its first will be its last

Pantoums missed out on getting class
you can tell Pantoums lack feeling.
Each one knows its first will be its last
they’re so very unappealing

You can tell Pantoums lack feeling
and they don’t have too much glitter.
They’re so very unappealing
the pantoum’s a loathsome critter

Pantoums aren’t wisdom, love or joy
And they don’t have too much glitter
They’re some misanthropic sod's foul ploy
The pantoum’s a loathsome critter

Banking

Leaving banking, I am thinking about banking. When the red humour from the human system drains off, we irrigate the haematic fluid inside through vein-channels. ‘Blood Banks’ with sanguine loans come to our rescue. In cases of renal malfunction, we ransack kidney colonies for mercenary donors. Or don’t we eye greedily at the safest vaults for the bean-shaped organ - at the healthy kidneys inside the frames of our beloved ones? For grafting damaged skin, happily we become clients of ‘Skin Banks’. Those banks supply us with new apparel – bio-RMG, culled from the *****sapiens. In needs cellular, ‘Tissue Banks’ help us consummate the transaction. Aren’t ‘Eye Banks’ the last resort of the visually deprived or underprivileged ones? To cater to cerebral needs, there are ‘Brain Banks’. ‘DNA Data Banks’ through gene cartography help us circumnavigate the vast continents of bioinformatics. Oh that we only had a ‘Philanthropy Bank’ to supply us with liquefied humanity for intra-venous infusion into the sadistic, misanthropic minds!

My Child-Love

Now that love's hands have lifted from my searching eyes, I have begun to see. I look at the faces of those who love has captured, and my misanthropic vision clouds their joy. Don't they know what love will do to them? It will consume them, body and soul. It will control their minds and make them do things they swore they would never do. And once love's soft touch wraps around your finger, you can never let it go. Like a child, it grows. It then holds your hand, and demands to be carried, even when it has grown too big. Love wraps its legs around your waist and its arms tightly around your neck. You can still breathe, but only when love lets you.
My love has become hopefully vulnerable. It sees those that it has loved before, and those who have loved me and it tugs me along as it tries to pursue them. I trip over my own feet, I feel awkward and unwanted. But love doesn't understand that. It is blissfully ignorant, and it does not realize the destruction it causes within my heart and soul. It welds, twists, and mangles the metal of my strong heart. It entices my soul, then disappoints with flawed morale.
But through all this, I hold on.

Misanthropic Lucifian Order

Easy money, like easy prey. Our hearts have turned to catacombs where our inner children lay. Change yourself and your mind, change your thoughts of Decline. Watch the world wash away, cleanse your self of decay. Memories dissipate, burning world full of hate. Silent wisdom still razor sharp. Everybody plays their part. Stagnant water blinds my eyes. Goddess rotten between her thighs. But there's still so much to be learned. All these lovers will slowly burn. But there's still so much to seen. The society bathed in gangrene. Razor wire, your Morningview. Your liars tongue, you will slowly chew. purity begging before it's hung, on praying knees... bite off your tongue. And you will leave nothing but bleached bones when you go. Leaving no scar upon this world. And you will join the herds of mass graves. Another soul neglected to be saved. Same song and dance time and time again. Bleeding dry the beast long before it began. Cliché life, cliché death. Honesty in a bullet's breath. Watch the world wash away, cleanse yourself of decay. Another American failure to be lost amongst the tribe.

Just Because

Why do you say you are not that to me?
I never asked you to be anything.

Why do you think my life revolves around you?
I know your integrity is not true.

Just because we are people of structure does not mean you have to care
     for the next person.

In statement, I address what you say.
I know that you do not play.

When the hurricane hit, I knew you were only looking out for yourself.
Just because we all are in a humanitarian world, does not mean you have
to give a damn about the next individual.

What if the same was done to you, just because...
Would outcry for help be heard?

Altruistic we define just because we love life.
Philanthropic is a benevolent fight.
Just because wrong must become right.

Misanthropic this designs.
Why not be assiduous just because you are part of mankind?

Why not joist life?
Just because…

Why am I here?
Then again...
From where did I come?
