The walls lean in, murmuring secrets of weary days,
while chairs sigh beneath tired bodies.
Words from hollow lips strike like stones—
they refuse to soften, echoing in empty corners.

My lessons pulse with purpose, glowing faintly in the dust,
each one breathes life into silent desks.
They wait, expectant—hungry for curious eyes.

Even the blackboard leans forward,
eager to share every truth

Never at rest, ever restive

The hobby of joy can't compare with losing
The heart is tolerant but generous

It's good to be happy
Money isn't always having goodly house
But a home of understanding, respect

A whisper to a scribble
The pen scratches against the blank page
an odd and rhythmical pattern
Imprinted into one's soul
Leaving an odd sense of peace or turmoil
Lingering with a yearn
A yearn for something unattainable
Something supernatural
Words standing tall
Reaching and stretching- searching
Desperately trying to
Obtain the unobtainable
Failing time and time again
Only leaving an echo of the words spoken
Or the emptiness

guilty passion got me

Church Walk

there is a place of deep repose
where chasing Christmas never goes

along a path of fallen leaves
where autumn’s warm late beauty breathes

I'M A CRICKET

I feel like a cricket
Tucked away in the thicket
But with a brave mindset
to put up new verses
radiating with the rays
Of the sun that rises
in the deep west.

Indeed I'm a cricket,
So uprightly prostrate
Dressed and wingless
but calmly seated
On muscular hind legs
