Forked Truth

A mangled man's
remains,
remain dismembered.
Scattered limbs
laid amongst the
litter.
Littered
ligament lies
amidst tense
muscle,
resting cuts
lay tender.

I really
try to not
remember.

This I
wish I
was lying about.

I can't
I magine
mans lying about.

Torn asunder, ripped
apart by chainsaw
teethed razor.
Rehearsed excuses
always sound best
on scratch paper.

Throw it away or
save it for later?
From behind ear
whisper bubblegum's
last flavor.
Hope all is better
before a blue
member come rapping
upon thy chamber.

They won't just go away.
It's best to
answer, then
answer what they ask.
Then they'll leave you
alone.
To go
about your day.
left in disarray,
disagree met dismay.

Where is the
line that
compromised game
last time?

The Old Mans Tale

When I started
Down the river I went alone.
There were rocks and foam
And I was afraid
Still being sane.

When the river widened
The shoreline spread before me
And the waters calmed.
I floated along on that placid plain
Thinking this is how it shall be now.

Long I drifted in quiet peace
When again the land narrowed
And the current increased.
Then I realized how temporary
Peace and safety actually are.

You know it is too late
Just before the end.
You hear the waterfall
Crashing on the rocks
Just around the bend.

Premium Member qulted womans dwarf mans fancy duds

Quilted woman’s dwarf man showed off his duds
Some of his co-workers sounded like Elmer Fudds.
They were jealous of his outfit, make no doubt.
Some went home angry, others gave a little pout.

another mans dream

the face in my reflection
haunts me like a wildest dream,
my eyes are hallowed,
my skin pale as an early spring.

once I looked upon a face of another
a youthful in spirit,
not yet, drained of colour,
oh i long to go back to those days ago,
back to the old house,
where my dreams still seemed to flow,
but here i stand frozen in time,
lost in the youth of a younger man's life,
i am not enough for this world i fear,
too tired, too sad,
but yet my path forward still remains unclear.

No Mans Land

No certain places nor time. Neither here nor there. Dug a ditch and here I sit, listening for the other side. I hear the sound of War. Sounds like whistles flying by. I hear the sound of dying men, wondering if I'll be one of them. We can't question our authority. We keep track of artillery. We must move forward without retreat. We must defeat. In hopes cause for this war has good reason, like keeping our freedom, in our prayers we hope to prevail. Not fall and fail, left in No Mans Land would mean we failed. We must pray God will bring us home.

No Mans Land

Living in the zoo
hunting in the jungle
Dying in the space between
— buried in the past

The lonely mans limerick

The lonley man knows no clothes
For he has no places he goes
Not a hat for a head
Nor pyjamas for bed
The lonely man has no place to call home

Premium Member Jazz Mans Blues

Jazz man was full of rhythm in orange and red
The tune was bluesy, she quickly and excitedly said
He pays no attention to anything but the beat,
We like to listen to his melodies while we eat

So we went to the house of Jazz man red, who was smoking hot
He sang of things that most of us had never even been taught
Jazz man had a way that showed us a new sound for sure
His tunes were amazingly clever, but also totally pure.

A Mans Strange Journey

Feets moving along I tread along this foreign domain full of bitterness and legions of many things and many eldritch terrifying but as I walk I tell you of the many things I observed which forever stained in my mind. I begin entering uncharted canyons looking up at the edges of them I see three individuals nailed to a wooden cross with one made of black marble stone the left a starfish the right a human dog a beagle to be precise there was one more on the right and left that horizons curtain revealed as I walked further through the canyon A man with the head of a mountain goat an then the left one was a human cougar. the black cross in the middle was a nude woman whose hair floated as if underwater her very stomach had many faces molded onto her. these crucifixions were done by these humanoid ants. Further, I pursue my expedition I saw catepillars with the face of babies with with african tribesman riding them as they wear masks of cyclops made of muddy clay reaching the end I see an altar with a golden praying mantis wearing the face of the holy mary I knew that this was my end for I now must feed my golden dove mother.

Realistic worth
is revealed in heart of man,
not from abundance.

No Mans Land

NO MANS LAND

It’s no man’s land, where an emptiness resides
That’s in between the waking state and sleep
And face to face with dreams, can only stare
The mud and gore have secrets that they keep
Where conscious thought in sympathy, abides

Premium Member Homeless Mans Love For His Daughter

A homeless man played his guitar,
for coin rewards put in a jar.
A lonely life he always led,
but in his heart a love he had.
This love he thought of all the time,
during the cold days brought sunshine.
His songs were of a girl he loved,
he sang to her, with stars above.
So many years had gone on by,
but in his heart, and reasons why.
There was this hope that would not die,
the thought of her just made him cry.

Dedicated to my
daughter Ashley...

A Man’s Witness
Written: By Miracle Man
7/22/2023

Jesus brought his peace to my heart of stone,
so I’ve never had to walk assigned path alone.

To a life of pain it seems I’ve been inured.
My witness highlights health issues I’ve endured,

For God’s strength, Prayer Warriors did implore,
each time I’ve stood at death’s unlocked door.

For my life, God, was busy revealing His plan,
Hospital Doctors were calling me Miracle Man.

God knew my heart and saw my faith’s fitness,
each near death experience is part of my witness.
