Celebrating the sun
being in the same position amongst the stars
as it was when you were born
is an insane tradition
But like magic
Humans get to make things meaningful
by imbuing meaning into things
And as you
mean a lot to me
I celebrate
the sun's return to Virgo,
the fair maiden,
for my
fair maiden

we buried witchcraft
but kept old snake oil bottles
lined up on our shelves
hooked up with magic potions
to give hope when logic fails
science displays signs
fate is foretold on the screen
yet we plead for cures
still brewed over smoky fires
hope fixes we can't forgo
hunger stays away
concoctions remove old stains
herbs promise rebirth
purging latter-day poisons
making tomorrow spotless
old curses survive
though no cauldron lights the room
we demand revenge
through hidden spells and curses
that only witchcraft provides
when reason falls short
shadowy figures emerge
in crystal ball veils
to give our nameless fears cause
rather than leave darkness blank
science lights the room
yet something circles in flames
older than knowledge
witchcraft belatedly lives
where reason cannot go
The angle of reality it performs.
In order that we see it's many forms.
The myriad of gentle notions rest.
Upon what nature considers the best.
There is the sour and there is the sweet.
There is the poor and there is the elite.
Then it's the Masters that will come along.
To change the world and brighten the song.
For it's the return of the Nature King,
For which the people will forever sing.
Semi-longed-about tales that rip apart the holiest grails, and shower the besmirched with real gold who knows how much silver is with that gold! A coppery patina is all over the copper plates they are dated Egyptian and seen much waste, yet why do you not ask the river bend? When friends are coming and money spent? Does the sleek shimmer in the night, conjure ghosts which oft delight? Does the sun upon daybreak curse the puppy small the meals disbursed? The river aims not true north as the north star plays on lyres striking lightening bolts on open paidby waitlocks on other staves.
Stillness
is a bridge
Emptiness
a chasm
Stillness
is a blessing
Dharma
to impart
Stillness
overtakes you
When your world’s
in spasm
Stillness
is the magic
Deep within
— your heart

god's bit to poetize
airborne raindrops deflect sun rays, rainbow emerges
swift surprise!
heavens in trance
human spirit dispossesses
joy dance!!
moonstruck
time infringes
luck!!!
god's bit to poetize
human spirit dispossesses
luck!!!

(Blackout of It Is the Hour by George (Lord) Byron)
Drip drop pitter patter,
Not even a storm can hide the sound of blood splatter,
Down her leg the drops glide,
Like the moon chasing after the evening tide,
Flooding freely without a care,
Out it sneaks from the dragon's lair.
Precious stream with a story to tell,
Promising heaven, delivering hell,
Bathe in moonlight,
Dance in the woods,
Smear this red on your riding hood.
Bloody countess, Sanguine sensation,
Blessed crimson revive my vocation,
I invoke your messiness to hearken my rebirth,
I am now the drop that falls to the earth.
Abra cadaver
What’s all this palaver
You’ll saw her in half
Can I have her?
Longing flickers like a spell
loose in the dark...
a small, bright predator
pursuing the shape of you.
You appear where reality thins,
a shimmer of mist,
a spirit wearing light.
Desire opens its hidden door
and the door becomes sky.
I reach,
and my reach turns luminous,
a quiet magic
that conjures your presence
from memory,
from myth,
from the soft ache
that knows your potency.
Here,
in the enchantment between worlds,
you rise...
a mirage,
a star,
a dream
I can almost touch.
…The magic carpet had been…
She played with the book, read
the doll, put the flower in the air,
the plate on her hair; she ate
the fan and waved the grapes,
put nothing in the tin, leaned in.
…unfurled; it’s Hollywood red…
Journey,
Hurry.
Driving,
Striving.
Hostels,
Portals.
Hold raft,
Hard graft.
Giant,
Tennant.
Blinded,
Blighted.
Circe,
Tricky.
Swine herd,
He heard.
Circe,
Sleepy.
Prophet,
Home set.
Hades,
Tight squeeze.
Converse,
Reverse.
Stop-off,
Gods’ shove.
Birth place,
White lace.
Suitors,
Looters.
Disguise;
My eyes.
Deceive,
Relieve.
Kill all,
Wife tall.
Freedom,
Kingdom.
Love will,
Prevail.
It's imperative,
I change the narrative,
Give me a better chance,
Glance into destiny,
Seeing only the best in me,
The rest taught me to be,
Author of my reality,
A personality behind the pen,
Bending my mind through time again,
Sending signs of confirmation,
An affirmation of elevation,
Repairing a relationship,
Getting a grip on the past,
Blasting passed barriers,
A carrier of light,
There's no need to fight,
It's going to be alright,
Setting my sights high,
I pry open the present,
My moment is now,
And somehow, I always knew,
Our dreams could come true,
Staying true to the course,
A force resides within you,
Your guide knows what to do,
And it's up to you,
To decide how to view the ride.
