I'M No Rat

What a ***** to find time to creep into another woman's bed
or maybe a rat to scurry under my feet for cheese and bread
askin for two shots ina each her toe, knee, chest, and head
Mi na ramp wit dem tings deh fi nobody but my own
My mother told me dat every man will chase fa gold
He'll climb til his youngest grandchild is grey and old
So why be one rat when you can be a Queen
mek him reach fa yu instead of looking cabinets between

Queen had to brush my teeth and wash my face
I had to fluff my pillows and pray for the day
Reminiscing on the bull**** that i just had to lay
Another day on this mutha****in paper chase
As horny as i thought i was i felt my walls pulsing
when i read " till her pussy dry and swollen"
But as i read on... i realized someone was cloning
Remaking the same NIGGA over and again

The life of a rap star. Does that mean you pimp
Does that mean I can ask you questions just like that hoodrat *****
You say you like what you see but you willing to fight yourself
One taste of this Queen melt yo Pimp Heavyweight belt
I told you your style was dope that i hadn't seen one in a while
a while meaning a year, said behind the same sly smile
Maybe that's the b.f you speak of that i'm creeping you with
the one that you reminded me of... with all these hot lyrics

I stay searching for real niggas because they seek me out too
They want a reminder we still exist even across a border or two
my single ass skipped the class on Game but made it to period two
the class on Guns, Poetry, Money, & Family. There were only me and you.
I thought.... Well damn, Any other real niggas but just a few?
Am i the only female left? Does no one have a clue?
That sex is all good from jump and beyond but money got me boo
Even if you aint got the green, ****, help me get on too
or point me in the direction of who to talk to
I'm getting a little Too fresh, it seems, for you
let me switch up my sexxxy back since I only gave you verse two

Dreams of Yesterday Broken Hearts of Today

Funny looking back on the past to see
How we all once were
And who we were wanting to be
It's all so damn clear again
Not any longer is it a distant blur
Those memories are now awakened and causing quite a stir
Moments that are etched forever in time
And in my mind
Loving you well then it was my only crime
The tings we said to each other
The promises that were made
You holding me as right there next to you I laid
Who would have guessed that when we opened our eyes several years would
come to pass
Gone away in the blink of an eye, gone away all to fast
Guess we had to sometime back then say goodbye
But did we really even try
And now I know we each feel and understand how we felt and still feel now even
more
Than we ever had been able to before
I found you can't push them down you just can't control
Those feelings will haunt you they won't let you go
So now tell me please let me know
Can you really look deep into her eyes as you once looked into mine
And completely hand over give to her your soul
Or do you long for someone else to have and hold
You and I have never been able to let each other go
What we feel still runs deep never has it ever run cold
You know you do still wrestle with those emotions, yes I know
I've to been there with these feelings I have for you
But once I let the fight go
I realized what had always been right there in front of my face
No other man could ever take your place
There you are running away from me again
Hurry I'm still right there behind you so you need to pick up your pace
You can't face me you don't know exactly what to say
So we keep right on living without each other because right now to be back
together well there's just no way
All we have for the moment to hold on tightly to are
Dreams of yesterday
Broken hearts of today

We Never Even Got to the Alter

We Never Even Got to the Alter

I hug your ghost as we fall asleep
Something blue and something to keep
But your ghost soon fades
in invisible shades
And the lilac daisy ring
Hides somewhere forgotten
On the twined made up daisy string.

The memory goes away
and all the pained ones too.
As I hear you wonder
If I will ever stay.
You never got to hear 'I do.'

Something borrowed;
that's our old time.
With infinite cracks
lying in-between rhyme.
Our olde dreams are
our forever home.
Which cracked when we were
Done.
Could we have had
Our hearts made as one?

A silver rattles round my shoe.
The smell of flowers, freshly new.
As the organ plays
Upon this jubilant day.
And as the sun shined on the morning dew
The pastor waits for us to say 'I do.'

But we never made it to the alter, dear.
And I never got to see your tears.
As I pledged myself to you forever here
And you dropped your mask at the door.
I wonder if it's still waiting there, dear.
Because we were both so sure, before.

Now the veil lies in wait
in some old department store.
Just like our diamond rings
I wonder if you ever found mine
Against the music box tings.

For that is all we are, dear.
Of rust and ink and old spirit bones.
I take your hollow heart and mine
to mix with solemn tones.

And now, I fear, I must leave us here.
In the cracks of in-between.
As we forever wonder
What could have been forever fonder
Than memories of 'could have beens.'

I never got to hear 'I do.'

Delayed Consequences, Part Iv

...“De people of de modern world
tink dat no rules apply to dem,
dat dey’re too advance for such tings,
dat dey will face no consequence.

“But dere’s always a price to pay,
nothing in dis world can come free,
dere’s sixty million baby souls
who are rising up, and are angry.”

Alex fought to breathe at the words,
part of him still claimed this was mad,
he said, “If I believe your words,
how do we prevent something bad?”

The old man’s face frowned where he sat,
he shook his head side-to-side,
“When de spirits seek deir vengeance,
it is rare dat dey’re ever denied.

“I’d tell dese women dey should pray,
ask God to tell dese babes their regret,
only His power can stop dis,
but most will not hear dis just yet.

“I wish I could tell you good news,
but da pride always leads to a fall,
dese rules were not just suggestions,
now I fear it will claim dem all…”

The old man looked down in his cup,
Alex didn’t know what to ask,
but then a thought occurred to him
and he leapt up to his feet fast.

He remembered an old story
that his mother told him one time,
about wild days in college,
and a baby she chose to decline.

His frantic eyes met the old man
who seemed to know just what he feared,
“It’s to give you a chance to save her…
dat’s why da Big Man send you here.”

Alex tore out of the cabin,
saw his friend there on the air boat,
cried, “Billy, turn the motor on!
There’s no time now, we’ve got to go!”

Deep Pockets- Casears Share

the play Shout Shingle
is based on a poem by
a well known
celebrity Poet.
it's based in the late twenty first century.
it is the story of a man
who met a woman
who was engaged to his
Orchestra brothers ex wife.

" they speak as brothers
might m looks and womanly havings
divide them to curse and scream
then I will marry he who speaks my name first
whether it is him who's been defeated or him that
has been victorious.

they fought in the office of the Grand Opuss
there they broke the bassoon that fell to the floor
and they destroyed the percussion instruments

they went on a cruise to greenland, the captain made the woman walk the plank, due to the fact she reused to speak about her affairs with members of the crew. She said her husband condoned such happens. When asked about these tings her husband became angered and said to make her walk the plank until she confessed her transgressions.
the fella who cleaned the theater
found two flutes that were dented and bent.
he took the flutes and welded the together
he put a handle on top, and a rubber stopper on the bottom.
when the two persons came together the evening of christmas
the gentlemen presented the fella with the flute.
and then the mean and angered ex fella of the
woman showed up
to even the score.
they fought and rolled on the ground until
the opera singer stooped them

Father Gone Farther

Life is a lonely forest where you live,
With your soul and sole tattered,
Life and love denied,
All for my sake,
And father, farther you go.

Like pressed above, you never grow taller,
This way, in you go,
Door gets too high and the way too wide,
All for my sake,
Yet the more you love me.

To them your hair is foreign and rags so common,
Though without salt and food, you always gave me full,
I'm words without, withal to witness,
The gentleness of your wonder without which I wither,
You taught me all things, to write and erase.

You're the shadow I shadow,
The heart I material,
I love because you love,
You oriented me to life and gave me the first torch,
Withal to grop in the darkness of life.

Of pretentious popes you warned,
Who would tell me tings obscene in coners sacred,
To take your mantle I do,
Your name to new seas, to focus and fight farther,
Fight an equal fair, with each ear to the event,

All will hear your shadow shaking sheaths,
And feel the texture of the future in my hands,
For your heart and mine is one,
The love for you as you go farther,
But you I take none, none at all.

Please pick me for cushion,
Plant your heart in mine,
I know it was for my sake
All the pain,
I love you.

Big Man Ting

Beat quick This rhymes so sick, its needing nursing
Flow tight off the bat there’s no rehearsing
Challenge me to a battle? bruv I’m the first in,
U shook, I see u rattle from just one verse in
Keep the day job, and tighten up ur purse strings
If there’s cash to be won, it won’t be your wins!
When I leave here I’m taking one of ur tings,
Take her the full 12 rounds until the bell rings
Unless she can’t hold out and throws the towel in
And Ill move on to that friend she brings
U watch us leave and u just left imagining
Of who what why and what might’ve been
U wish the only time u spit is when ur battling
Choke on stage cant stop urself remembering
Nervous holding back instead of diving in
Going down wasting time, start babbling
U choked then too instead of swallowing
Never leading, on a lead always following
U paid in full but boy are u still owing
Think ur a big man ting but u still growing
Pay attention to this lesson that I’m showing
U better swallow it next time u poke ur nose in.

Flower

What could have you been my lost love
If only I could have kept you safe with me
But now you have a perfect set of wings white as a dove
Now your happy since God came and set you free

What would you have looked like my child
Would you have been a boy or a girl
A little one meek and mild
Would you have my eyes and my curls

Your brothers never knew you never got the chance
When I lost you I wasn't far enough a long to show
I had just started felling you dance
I could not wait for you to grow

I wanted you to be born so bad
I loved you my baby
I had to tell him he was your dad
But I should have waited given you more time maybe

I didn't know he would not want you
I had no idea he would do the tings he did
If I had known he was going to beat me till I lost you
I would have kept you hid

I am sorry my angel I hope you can forgive me
For not protecting you the way I should have done
