What could have you been my lost love
If only I could have kept you safe with me
But now you have a perfect set of wings white as a dove
Now your happy since God came and set you free
What would you have looked like my child
Would you have been a boy or a girl
A little one meek and mild
Would you have my eyes and my curls
Your brothers never knew you never got the chance
When I lost you I wasn't far enough a long to show
I had just started felling you dance
I could not wait for you to grow
I wanted you to be born so bad
I loved you my baby
I had to tell him he was your dad
But I should have waited given you more time maybe
I didn't know he would not want you
I had no idea he would do the tings he did
If I had known he was going to beat me till I lost you
I would have kept you hid
I am sorry my angel I hope you can forgive me
For not protecting you the way I should have done
