Once again we’re wedged in a wrinkle
of time in our lives; a wrinkle that can’t
be so easily ironed out and pressed away.
Yet the ironing board of solutions remain up
and challenging steam continues to gush out;
however, conflicting political sizing complicates
the strained ironing out process…stalling progress.

Those of us familiar with social distance look on
in curious awe at the pandemonium of the social elite
sanitizing and quarantining themselves from each other.

Meanwhile, let us not be remiss nor dismayed by the
present dilemma; let us give it inherent attention; for
before modernity, our ancestors—the help—the hidden
numbers—laid out and taught us ingenious methods
of smoothing out nagging wrinkles inhibiting our progress.

Thus, let us not forget to remember those under the mattress
techniques designed to keep us healthy and strong in our journey
along the wrinkling road towards all-inclusiveness in this nation’s
pursuit of happiness through social, economical and political equality.

I am appalled..Sickened.' uncomprehending..!
Why a medical facility 'namley fort sanders'
Small s...' Intentional..) discharged this suffeing
Woman..? How could they.? Are they a care facilty?
Or a scare facility.'? Can any out there advise me?
On the oppresive actions, started by the obviously
Heartless, mean spirited caller. Who requested that
Police attend.' And they did.' four callous minded cops
That mocked, and accused an innocent person with
Sarcasam...In the depths of her despair she pleaded
She called out..Sir..! I am incensed..I am in despair.!
To witness the mental torture..The physical inhibiting
Actions of the four thugs.' Will anybody own friendship
With these pieces of excrenent.!? Slime is above them
Thats how low they live.' I don't want to know their
Names even..' its so toxic their action.' Beyond sick.'
And the pathology.. dept..Are protecting these scum.'
In Knoxville, a place I would think on twice before going.'
With people in charge like this, and others above them'
Yet well below..? Below the lowest level of contempt.'

Ligament Hinges

Lines reign rectangular beyond widely
sombre dour density of inhabitants
Living rendered responsible behind wisely
secure doors definitely insure us

Neighbours harbour unfamiliar stories
Measureless textures hold untapped instruction
Sectioned protected fences forbode inquiry
Composite dismissed in driveway's reflection

Stranger to Earth's purposeful cycle
Continuum of plenty and scarcity
Cup overflows with options available
Convenience success declares to be

Money making matrix of tyranny
directs development's doctrine devours
Cataclysmic quick fix erect a thousand
nature inhibiting pattern of houses

Maze Ministers administer complacency
Tempered treacle assertions anethetise
Placated patients injected with necessity
Propel dominance of capitalism's rise

Studious city sews a hem pressed wide
Insidious greed knows a slow demise
Commodities local harvest would provide
Remote industry manoeuvre bulk supplies

Creek dipped reaching tree to residents listens
Combined myriad of incessant insects minuscule
Comical tousles, tasks of a toiling existence
Trials surmounted gain victories incremental

Environmentally in tune communities
easily trade effort borne resources
Trust, patience, guidance received
Compassion's fountain pours importance

Muscle of masses hinge bones as ligaments
Harvesting knowledge of fecundity's longevity
Endurance and learning with strength intersect
Woven contribution formulates society's liberty

I Didn'T Think You Would Become My 'Old Friend'

We said goodbye once more inhibiting specificity as certain levels of significance tend to bring too much complexity we both know it
well
with the 4 years of back and forth like the seasons we
were shifting but always coming back to the same place every time you left I believed we would never meet
again but this choice is not just for us to make
There was some more remarks to make
Apparently
And the particularity of your humour was supposed to
make me hold on to my smile again
even long after
leaving
I thought today was going
to be filled with reflection and
memories but it was a little
more for both of us and even though
now
you're supposed to go home
This time
with someone new in your life
The goodbye we've said feels very similar
to those from the past perhaps
this familiarity will bring something
good to us
Sometime

What is the main difference
between the life time of a star
and your personal trauma history?

Could it be for you,
as for me?

How long we take
to get from regenerative beginnings
in dark caved
holy
humble
BlackHole wombs
to degenerative desecrations

And more therapeutic inside/outside
resonantly peaceful
light empowering balanced ends
that snugly fit bigendered means
for cooperative kindness.

What is your main difference
between personal liberation
from inside traumatic deliberation
and outside avoiding condemnation?

At all inhibiting costs to Self
prohibitive costs to Others
disposable property costs to sacred MotherTrees
and other indigenous
sentient
residential non-taxpayers

Not to become confused
with Trumpian
"Vengeance is StraightWhiteMaleCapitalist Mine!!!"
All AnthroSupreme Mine!!!!!!!!!
which is the white privileged noise
of a NON-indigenous
parasitic
residential non-taxpayer

Who does not know the main difference
between the life time of a star
and His monotheistic personal trauma
degenerative BlackHole
reverse of predative
Great Flash FatherStar history.

IN THE IRONY OF FORGIVENESS

The irony of forgiveness,
Is that human nature, doesn't
Demand that its cause
Be given forgetfulness;
Thus, giving anger opportunity
To revive its paining spirit
Of negative recollection;
Versus positive reconciliation:-

To forgive and not forget
Can prove to be oxymoronic;
Inhibiting resurrecting love
From eternally bonding
Family, friends, or lovers:-

The forgiveness we ask of God,
We must also give to one another;
And this forgiveness begins
With the forgiveness of self:-

Past trials and tribulations
Extricated and flushed down,
Let self be now ever bonded
In the onederful oneness onement
That God has bestowed upon thee
With faith’s divine peace and love:-

“I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength
from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of
little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose
conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles
unto death.” Quotes _Leonardo Da Vinci

I have a small inner voice...
that never stops ... speaking and murmuring
never is this still small voice quiet
lets call this voice 'my conscience'
    an inhibiting sense of morals
of right and wrong

~ each of us has this distinct voice within us
that sighs and utters, chattering all the time
in the recesses of our minds ~

inside my mind is a secret self
      who knows my moral code
and my pledge of honor and integrity
I was not born with this self knowledge
but it was built brick by brick, by brick, by brick ...

~ each brick has a name, duty, honesty, respect,
          faithfulness, ethics, beliefs, goodness, kindness
and of course morals, these bricks of life rule me ~

the tone of my inner voice changes
sometimes it is a mutter and sometimes a shout
roaring in my head warning me
and sometimes my inner voice is weeping
often 'voice' is singing me a song ...sometimes voice
is a whisper in the night ...
reminding me quietly of ... 'promises' made ...

~ on this journey through life often I am confused
because I am disquiet and full of unease, unsure and hesitating
and my inner voice is breathing the words ... stop, stop, stop

... and I must listen ... ~

Third Place

What Was the Human Error

Was it the death of the child,
playing in the busy street,
where traffic frequently exceeds speed limits,
in neighborhoods like this one,
even in summer evenings when children gather
with stick and ball?

Or was it the single mother,
who allowed her child to play outside,
without adequate supervision,
on an evening as sunlight faded,
inhibiting vision of drivers?

Or was it the mother’s employer,
who forces employees to overwork,
without adequate breaks for nurses,
like herself,
leaving her exhausted at day’s end,
just in time to rush home and prepare the evening meal?

Or, maybe, it was the driver,
who failed to drive slower,
on a street known for its abundant children,
in a neighborhood with no city parks?

Or was it the alcohol in the driver’s blood,
impairing judgment and giving false sense of security?

Or was it the driver’s employer,
who arranged a business meeting over cocktails,
where the client could be manipulated to make decisions,
in the fancy lounge of the large hotel,
as all participants drank to excess?

So, I ask again.

What was the human error?
