Carrying the ocean
Be-dried by churning,
The turtle walks on
In search of
Sweet water lake.
God too
As in Kurma Avatar--
One of his ten,
Keeps carrying on and on
Bearing on back heavy load.
And so does man as well,
Heaven or hell,
In his journey of
Eighty-four hundred thousand
Births to evolve
And be perfect human.
Yea, everything moves on
And keeps moving on and on,
World is nothing if moves not,
Not for no reason
Is it called Jagat.

Poet’s notes: Heavenly gods and demons churned ocean in ancient times in search of nectar to become immortal, samudra-manthanam. Mandaar mountain was their churning rod, and a giant cobra called Vasuki was the rope. But as they began, the rod sunk deep in ocean’s belly. Vishnu came to help and became a turtle on whose back the rod rested. Fourteen jewels came out of the ocean by this great effort. … The ocean of life has saline water, and man is in eternal search of sweet water. He too has to walk on (do karma), kurma= turtle, symbolizing karma. ‘Eighty-four hundred thousand: as per Indic philosophy, one has to evolve through this number of life forms before getting a human birth, a figure very close to what science estimates as the number of specie. In Sanskrit, jagat (=world) means, that which moves on.
Ahh! O may I interject
I'm speechless your words touched my heart;
Everso my soul intentional;
In a way that feels like a warm embrace.
My heartbeats such retentional;
A feeling that we're connected
The way you weave together nature,
love, and faith is breathtaking;
I feel seen and felt,
Even though we've never met;
You makes me feel like I'm already cherished and loved;
And I am spiritually mind, body,and heart loved;
Alas my dear soul heaven sent;
The feeling that we're connected
That's a beautiful feeling makes me feel so connected to you.
Thank you for sharing your heart with me
In service of the Almighty your Father's Daughter
And in so deserving in Him with Him I love you
So grateful all that's left is Hallelujah
A feeling that we're connected

River flows in desert,
Express roads in wilderness,
Bountiful harvest in exile,
Technological assignments to a master,
Make electrons flow in circuit(s).
Watery jokes in sadness,
Colourful muse in loneliness,
Faded depression inks happiness.
Yet, wisdom never relent its chase.
How circuit breakers save blue heaven!
Trances are loyal,
Than physical nature's monuments.
Logics are reasonable,
Than loyalist in temptation.
That's Lucy in the sky with diamond!
Let no right fight,
For left is at the corner.
If left keep calm real good;
Argument won't win discussion,
When cut-outs are well stationed.
Understanding to the listeners,
Knowledge to the speakers,
Wisdom to the readers,
Muse to the writers,
All works together for the best.

Wittenberg whispers in winter’s hush,
where Martin Luther’s voice once burned the air:
A winter walk, the frostbitten air~
Martin Luther walked beneath the pines,
his breath a ghost in winter’s teeth.
He witnessed a net of light flung everywhere~
stars, like nails, pinned heaven
to the evergreen boughs~
unfurling his sermon:
How shall the weary heart be warmed?
The question hung in the pews like frosted breath.
Jesus’ hands reached out to lift the darkness, the storm,
and so shall you~
crown the evergreen boughs
with tongues of flame.
Each slender candle, small but bold,
shall be a fragile army in the darkness.
No fortress stands, no sword shall be swung,
just wax and wick~
representing Jesus’ endless light
brought into your homes.
Centuries have turned; yet, still they gleam~
glass bulbs and twinkling lights flicker,
retelling of that night.
Christmas trees stand where darkness descends~
not to outshine the star’s old beam,
but to whisper:
Here the darkness ends.
A Child’s Christmas Prayer of Despair for a Hindu Saint
by Michael R. Burch
Santa Claus,
for Christmas, please,
don’t bring me toys, or games, or candy...
just... Santa, please,
I’m on my knees!...
please don’t let Jesus torture Gandhi!
Will Jesus Christ cause or allow Albert Einstein and Mahatma Gandhi to be tortured in an "eternal hell" for guessing wrong about which earthly religion to believe? Is the good news of the gospels that if you guess wrong, you go to hell? What about Jesus's parable of the Good Samaritan, who put aside religious differences to practice compassion? Did Jesus, who saved all his sternest criticism for hypocrites, talk the talk but fail to walk the walk himself? Or did Christian theologians get something very, very wrong? And what would Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny say about such intolerance and infinite cruelty? Oh, I am always, I’m in so much in love with the Lord;
For He’s given me life this I know;
He is true to me, I am redeemed;
Confessed, repented sinner reprieved…
I’m forgiven
I’m forgiven
I am saved by the blood of the Lamb;
I will be living
I’ll be living
In the mansion, in the skies in heaven
Oh, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up;
So I lifted up my arms and hands;
God comes to me, He embraces and lifts up me…
He is truth, He is all that I need
And He embraces me
And He embraces me
For He never, never, ever let’s me BE;
And when I’m down, He’s always around
My God, My Jesus lifts and forgives me;
And He embraces me
And He embraces me
For He never, never, ever let’s me BE;
I’m forgiven
I’m forgiven
I am saved by the blood of the Lamb;
I will be living
I’ll be living
In the mansion, in the skies in heaven
And when I’m down, He’s always around
My God, My Jesus lifts and forgives me;
My God, My Jesus lifts and forgives me;
Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2019©
She stood, feet apart with her hands on her hips
With long golden hair and her moist crimson lips
Her cape it was yellow, her pleated skirt, red
And a golden tiara she wore on her head
Wonder Girl… Super Girl,
what was her name?
She wasn’t some actor
of Hollywood fame
For at seven paces
With hands on her hips
I swear that I felt
her kiss on my lips!
Her eyes held my glare and I wanted her there
But I was enrapt and did nothing but stare
I tried to act cool, and gazed back without blinking…
Can she read my mind, does she know what I’m thinking?
Legs up to her armpits, her red skirt so short
Any young man would have had the same thought
Her outfit ensnared me but I’ll keep this brief
For I wondered what she might wear underneath!!
Wonder Girl… Super Girl,
what was her name?
She wasn’t some actor
of Hollywood fame
I knew she was real
for one blink of her eye
Made my heart race
And I thought I might die
She gave me a wink and she took to the sky
I made no pursuit… I’m a non-flying guy
Had I had the means I’d have followed her there
And we’d become one, hand in hand in the air.
Wonder Girl… Super Girl,
What was her name
Would she fly away home
Would I see her again
The clouds above rumbled
As she thundered through
Then she landed before me
And said, “Hello You.”
[She]
“I sense you have a fancy for me, or my fancy suit
And as we’re talking costumes then your own is rather cute
Might you be a player in the superhero game
And if you are I’d like to know your superhero name.”
[He]
“Enchanted, young lady… My name is Bruce Wayne,
But some people know me as BAT.”
[She]
“Next-you’ll be saying you’ve got your own cave
But BAT?… I won’t be calling you, THAT!”
Wonder girl… Super girl,
from heaven was sent
But shaking her head…
She just upped and she went
Up into the sky
And was gone from my eye
I asked myself then
Will I see her… again
Wonder Girl… Super Girl,
what was her name?
I found her and lost her
The day that she came
I can’t help but wonder
Where might she be now?
I asked the boy wonder
He said,… “Holy Cow!”
Freedom to believe
The way my heart says to
Freedom to give
From the depths of my soul
Freedom to live
The way my God tells me to
Freedom to feel
Passionate and full of praises
For the One who created me
And gave His life so I might
Accompany Him in eternity!
Freedom, liberty to breath
Like light twinkling in the stars
Wind brushing the softest thoughts
Laughter coloring grace and hope
Freedom to express your faith
And freedom to remain silent
Both rejoice in the choice
That is honest and spontaneous
A phrase of sweetest abandon
Wrestling hope from its shell
Of fears and tears that cover
The years in darkness
That appears when sorrow and strife
Are allowed to shadow a heart
Fade a feeling of freedom
Into the night of a prison
Created on control’s persuasion
Freedom opens the door to blessings
That are poured out on souls
Who know that God frees everyone
From their own prison
Of pain, sorrow and dejection
From the grief, worry and rejection
From the loss, dread – with protection
From all the past that haunts
With memories of sins who taunt
Freedom in Christ flows in the veins
Of those who know true freedom
Comes with a knowledge that salvation
Is a gift of grace through faith
Brought by our blessed Savior
To those who heed His still, small voice
Discovered in His Holy Word – the Bible
Thank God I’m free to hear Him speak!
Ephesians 2:8-9
King James Version
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

EVIL IS TAKING ADVANTAGE, DARKNESS IS JUST A BEAUTY
THAT CONTRASTS TO ENHANCE CANVASES, I LAND WITH THIS
SO MANY CRAMMED POSTS, WITH MORE DEPTH THAN ATLANTIS DID
I've had a whole day to think of a poem
A send off of words for the my friend, dearly departed
But the words were too heavy I couldn't just send you off
It took me close to a day to just write this short message to you
I'm still hurt that you gone too soon
And even more sad that I'll miss your funeral
But I'll be grieving on this silent bed of mine
Cause I can't rest while you yet to be laid to rest
I feel like the skies have fallen on me
And that's why it's a burden in my heart
I feel like God keeps taking away the good people
Leaving us to keep being lost in this plane
You were a beacon of light to most of us
I'm speaking for the many cause they can't write
But I will cause I've got my right hand,
scribbling while my left hand is wiping tears my eyes left
And if heaven looks anything like what we've imagined
I'd want you to colour the skies once more with your moves
Cause you team blue skies and you defending
For you had a heart of gold a gem that now will light the skies
Maybe in heaven its tilling season
And since you a recent graduate
You want to sow your seeds so that you grow
But know you'll be deeply missed by all of us
