Premium Member My Brother's Life Struggles

My brother died so suddenly, unexpectedly
at sixty six, a young age in today’s standard.
He contracted the Corona virus that took his life.
Unable to breathe, he was taken to emergency
on Christmas Eve and was admitted to stay.

With all the available care administered,
he still struggled with his breathing and
was transferred to Intensive Care Unit,
intubated and was put on the ventilator.
With his weak body, he struggled more
and lost his dear life in mid-January.

Now, I knew and learned through his family,
how much stress he was dealing with,
how he painfully and continuously struggled
with all the family issues, concerns, hardships.

How he was singularly tackling all these
adversities, problems, difficulties, aside from
his health conditions of asthma, diabetes,
high blood pressure and so on and on.

The financial, mental, emotional tolls
and medical conditions he went through
affected him more physically, manifesting
in tremendous muscle aches and pains,
making him struggle more almost every day.

Just thinking even in near death
or up to the end of his life, he struggled.
Now, he rests in peace, no more life struggles.
His life struggles taken from him, for him to rest.

Premium Member ONCE UPON A SUMMER NIGHT

Through the darkness
Wonders through a summer rain
Thunder and Lightning having surge
Bringing the fire to ignite
It became the feeling to write
Compose with contrast
Ideas full of memories
A past life to share
It was no time to just sleep
Nightlight construct
Letter by letter
Alpha sentences made it better
Sentences like tour guides
Look to the left and right in observe
Every word being a place never been
People, Places and Things
Here and there everywhere
Words saying, “This is who we are”
Accelerating like a car
The journey far
Not knowing where, but will get there
Mind in travels
Words sounding like a novel
Making words and sentences shine
Like a rising sunrise as the new day
Accomplished through the night before
Thoughts released
Feeling free
Once again world to see
Heart full of inspiration
Summer heart can bring perspiration
Sometimes excelling education
That summer night turned everything into possible
Hope administered
Conquer of the new day
Happiness and joy can come one’s way.

Emergence

Amy Lee's long, dark hair was worn like velvet shadow. She wore a dress of lantern grey, blue and green as she approached the lantern and the microphone panel.
She inhaled and breathed like fire of all the refreshed repression she had been administered. Halloween? Heh. Life!
Her thoughts were of that nature that her idols of darkness would one day rape her belly naked of its jubilant features of virgin antiques. And with that, does she linger? No, she trembles a bellowing roaring cry of "My Heart is Broken" and "Wake Me Up Inside", for she was now Evanescence, something more than a god....! A goddess of light, imagining.
Can this be a whisper? Can this be a whisper in the depths of Hades, neath her befriended Afterlife?
No. It is a warning; a message. Thou shall not be caught...DEAD...without...percussions.
Thou shall NOT be my witness, my maker, my sleeper, my undeserved bringer to me to Life.
This Hades Pluto, tempting her in her life, her wake, and in her dreams.
Bring ME to Life, Your Reaper, Charon--Fate--
For WE are VIR-GUNS, too!

Premium Member Perfect Government

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6 of the King James Bible

Though seemingly impossible
a perfect government can actually exist
since such is the 1,000 years or millennial rule of the Sovereign…

Imagining its verity requires faith exposure
experiencing event’s magnificence creates anticipation
since such has been prophesied; and will wondrously happen…

With “Thy kingdom come” as answered prayer
it assures saints' reigning along redemption of nature
since such displays vividly the Lord Jesus Christ in His glory…

Sublime realities worth cogitating await the believers
global unity prevails; wars will cease midst joy of genuine bliss
since such characterizes the holy dominion of the Prince of peace…

Extreme longevity to be restored
no need of hospitals then for sickness is removed
since such supernatural preservation comes from the Healer…

Infallible justice will be administered
devoid of social, political, racial, religious oppression
since such upholds unified worship in the Spirit fullness…

By the actual ministering to every need
all wants will be met; language barriers removed
since such is the instruction of the Master Teacher…

Engulfed with gratefulness and praise-filled awe
my heart keeps on trusting the God of my salvation
since such is my heart’s response to Scriptures, immutably functional.

Premium Member Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan

“A famous work dating from 1885 by Russian realist painter Ilya Repin, Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan. The painting depicts Ivan the Terrible mortally wounding his son Ivan in a fit of rage, and it is considered the most psychologically intense of Repin’s paintings -- an expression of the artist's revolt against violence and bloodshed, yet within the painting of oils on canvas, the eyes painted by Repin depict Horror, an intense feeling of fear, shock and disgust.
However, it seems Violence begets violence because the painting was vandalized twice.” ~~ ALEXANDRA GUZEVA~~

“Art is not always beautiful, but if it makes you feel something, it is art”
                                            ~~The Poet~

Repin’s brush depicted actions that could only disharmonize.
Terror haunted the Tsar’s pain ridden eyes.
Ivan The Terrible’s eyes stare with remorse and panic.
Violent actions were frequent, his emotion was manic.
He and his son argued, in impulsive rage, father struck his son.
Father’s eyes silently scream “What have I done?”
Tightly grips his son and tries to stop the bleeding with the other hand.
Blood streams from his son’s head, he regrets this, it is so unplanned.
Ivan the Terrible’s spear, such a lethal weapon, lays on the ground.
There is a pool of his son’s blood there too, spilled all around.
Ivan his son, his head reposed, has the face of a betrayed son.
He will die from the inflicted wound, he sheds a solitary tear, just one.
He shows sadness and loathing of the deed that’s been done.
1st Tsar of Russia Ivan the Terrible administered many bloodthirsty deeds.
Yet for slaying his own son, he regrets, a mistake as his son bleeds.
He realizes his actions are irreversible. His eyes truly haunt when you scan
Ilya Repin has done the impossible making us pity this merciless man.

To Many Scientists Have Been Killed Lately

Why are so many Scientists—
Falling—without a Sound—
As if the Mind—once kindled—
Were Treason—when unbound—

They walked among Equations—
Like Gardeners of the Truth—
Yet Something in the Silence—
Has marked their Passage—through—

No Thunder—announces Ruin—
No Banner—bears the Blame—
But Ash collects on Notebooks—
And Dust forgets each Name—

Perhaps—’tis not their Bodies—
But what they dared to See—
A Lantern—held to Darkness—
Invites—Hostility—

Or Knowledge—like a Fever—
Unsettles those at Ease—
And so the Cure—is Quiet—
Administered—by Degrees—

Yet still—amid the Vanishing—
A stubborn Spark remains—
For Thought—cannot be buried—
It blossoms—in their Brain’s —

Premium Member Forever

What does the word “forever” mean
If it’s not for eternity
What hope lie’s in “always”
If it’s no further than we can see

How is it that “never”
Always seem’s to come about
Why is it that promises
Leave much room for doubt

Where can we find comfort
When the rules so quickly change
How can we proceed in faith
when our world is filled with pain

How often are our hopes and dreams
Found in pieces on the ground
Who can wish for honor
When integrity can’t be found

It all seem’s so hopeless
When bound by many rules
Written by the jokers
and administered by fools

And then there are our leaders
Who say the rules do not apply
To themselves and their conspirators
Or the judges that they buy

It’s no wonder I’ve no faith
in anything anymore
I turn and walk away
When it come’s knocking at my door
