Left behind like the wind

Left behind like the wind
May be not too far away
left behind like the wind

Like the moon light shadows me
Everywhere I go
There is a piece of agony
That follows me
Left behind like the wind

A stream that rushes in my body
Not knowing what to do
Fireflies dance in my head
yet no light in my mind
Left behind like the wind

Where the stone is stuck deep inside
Even a single leaf so still, not to move
as the leaf of life sleeps upon my lips
Left behind like the wind

Premium Member WANNA DANCE LIKE DAVID

WANNA DANCE LIKE DAVID
DA DA DA DA DA DANCE
Wanna dance like David danced, with all his might, leaping, whirling
Humility, Unreserved Joy, Ignoring Pride
Wanna dance like David
Wanna dance like David danced, with all his might, leaping, whirling

Celebrating return of the Ark of the Covenant was brought into Jerusalem
In leaps and bounds, I’m gonna praise Him
With mine legs and feet, I’m gonna praise Him
With the power of my voice and tongue, I’m gonna sing hymns sing His songs
Wanna dance like David, Wanna dance like David

Dances before the Lord, Wanna dance like David
Removed my royal robes, Wanna dance like David
And wore a simple linen, Wanna dance like David
Dancing praises holy, Wanna dance like David
Cloth or naked, holy glory, Wanna dance like David

Premium Member say it like it is

reflections reveal radiance
emanating from deep within
enlivening bliss magnetism
around which polarities spin

tranquil stillness animated
totality capsuled in form
as transmitter and receptor
bilocates in this benign storm

divine bliss beats send a signal
that our essence is living light
whispered wisdom wisening us
drenching us in drunken delight

Premium Member Showing God Like Reverence - Deuteronomy 5: 29, 6: 2, 8: 6, 10:12

God looks for real humble people
ones who have deep, reverential hearts
willing to always be obedient
so God would bless them in no small part

The commandments of God are holy and true
keeping them is for our benefit and good
so all our generations would be blessed
all their days when rightly understood

God's discipline is to teach His truth
so you obey all His sayings as you walk
in God's ways, fearfully in reverence
forever learning to walk in godly talk

The requirements of God are fourfold
to love and serve Him in holy fear
walking close by the Lord every day
with a full heart and soul all your years

God is a God rightly to be praised
bowing before Him in reverential fear
bringing our love imperfect as it is
to the lover of our soul who is ever near

Premium Member A Friend Is Like A Lighthouse

Amidst the rocks on the edge of the land
Casting its light, a faithful friend stands.
Low in the shadows of the crests and troughs
Lies hidden danger when seas are rough.
But this lighthouse spreads it's loyal beam
To alert captains to what can't be seen...
A metaphor for a friend like you
Who generously lights up those around her too
Who shares her light of joy and love;
The darkest shadows you rise above.
Thank you for reaching out your hand
Like the faithful guardian sheds its light from the land.

Premium Member A LITTLE MORE LIKE FRED

When our children were children…
we’d sit together on the floor and watch Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood…
It was a wonderful way to be together
while learning how to be kind and decent…and good.

From our age to theirs in front of our TV it was easy connect
with someone who exuded kindness and treated everyone with respect.

It was our hope that our children would pick up on this thread…
and when they went out into the world…
would be a little more like Fred.

That they would practice peace and empathy…
would live their life with honor and dignity…
that they’d try to resolve their differences through communication….
not with hostility.

That they would understand although there is evil in this world…
meant to demean, demolish and destroy…
they could fight this evil with love and hope…
and try to fill the world with joy.

Imagine what our world would look like…
if we accepted one another in spite of our differences…
If all the people of the world were acknowledged…
welcomed…
and well-fed….
Imagine the kind of world we could create…
If we were all…
a little more like Fred.

Like A Programmed Robot

Like a programmed robot
I move through each day
Smiling and nodding
In just the right way.

Pretending I'm happy
And life is just great
When the truth of the matter is
There's just too much on my plate.

I feel like I got cheated
Out of living a good life
I'm poor and alone
And I'll never be anyone's wife.

I'm like that lone shoe
You see lying on the road
Alone and discarded
Like an unwanted load.

People pass by me
Staring with pity
Torn and tattered
Not an ounce of pretty.

The shadows in my eyes
Portray a battle lost
Nightmares and insomnia
Show surrender’s cost.

The physical scars
Have healed without a trace
But the mental emotions
Are still written in my face.

I'm a programmed robot
Struggling each day
Trying to hold my head up
And wishing I could fade away.

Care not for the Wh0re

Poke and point and pince and prod
My penniless pockets
And a bra unable to uphold,
A breast to guarantee your rest

Lay in alleys in all your ailing worries
And sloughs of spittle
Splurged and purged b'neath your body.
Hold me, honour me,
Caress the cares entangled within my clumped hair
Harass the proficient proclamations of love,
Laying alongside my broken body.

I dare leer at the lies, leashing my soul to your life
For I do but believe
Boys breed bearded brawlers
And flesh too calloused to caress
And I vacate a vacuum
Of hands vying for the wet of my sex
And the sucking cumbersome succumbing
Salary, siezing a lustful lustre to shine 'pon my sultry gaze

like fire

Black dress lace nets
red lips
curves and hips
shes a sinner of nights like this
pink ribbon eyes blind
fingers rush and smooth and glide
blush rush
and moan on lips
She all I think of
on nights like this

MAMA DON'T LIKE

I love music
With a rapping beat
That boom, boom, booms
You right on your feet
...but Mama don't like

I love tuna
Really, fish of any kind
It hits the hollow part
That makes life divine
...but Mama don't like

I love movies
With a message of hope
Cussing is warranted
If it provides a hangman's rope
...but Mama don't like

Mama likes westerns
Where violence creates a world
Old time values
No justice for girls
...I don't like that

Mama likes patterns
That build sturdy gates
Change is scary
For those who can't relate
...I don't like that

Mama likes pleasure
That is permitted by "god"
She won't even look
At other paths to trod
...I don't like that

I love Mama...but Mama don't like me

Premium Member Someone Like Me

I look around
is anyone like me
like a strange sound
you hear but can't see
is there anyone
who acts the same
as I do?

I dream aloud
but wake in silence
I'd like to fit in
but i don't have a licence
is there anyone
who acts like me

I have a dream
That I find a stream
where i can live and breathe
could you believe
someone like me

run around
until you find yourself
a hurried sprint
and jump right
off the shelf
into the sea
where i find me

Play hard to get
someone you'd
wish you'd met like
hotel vacancy with a room to let

come inside my brain
and you'll see a view
maybe something old
or maybe something new

Premium Member Say it like it is

It is pointless to negate the here now this,
for no matter what be our recognition,
we cannot deny divine energised bliss,
brought about by kundalini ignition,
caress sublime borne by Divine Mother’s kiss,
where those with pure hearts have right of admission.
Rapture renewal is the name of the game,
embodied in our heart as our claim to fame.

Like Any Other Man

I see that look in your eyes,
That sparkle with shine,
Asking me for something more
That I cannot provide.

I don’t want to hurt you again.
Why give you half of me
When you deserve me at my best,
And I’m just not there yet?

I want to tell you, you can trust me.
Your feelings are safe in my hands,
But I might end up letting go
And chasing after something that’ll hurt me more.

I know you’re what’s best for me if I healed,
If I stayed focused and put myself first.
I could be the man of your dreams,
Instead, I’m like any other man.

I wish I was like Atlas and could carry your load.
I’d tell you my cup is empty, but I can take more.
But I’m on the edge, with one more bad day
Enough to make me spill everything over.

I Write Poetry Like I Make Love

I write poetry like i make love
The mood comes to swing
And my pen start digging
Emotions are purged
But first
My skin is aware of how poetry has taken a hold of me
So sometimes i think it's charm

I breath
I exhale
I feel love
And start spilling inks on dangerous papers

The mood is constant
And my pen is always ready to dig
I mean dig into thoughts

I write poetry like i make love
I swing a lot in my emotions
And scribble roughly

Sometimes it's more than that
