Life after Death
Because I pondered—Life beyond—
The Curtain’s timid seam—
I kept my faith—like folded light—
Within a quiet Room—
Death was not King—but Courtesy—
Who paused—before my Door—
And asked me—if I wished to cross—
Or stay—Forevermore—
I answered—Hope—had tutored me—
In Lessons—not yet Learned —
That Breath may close—yet Meaning—keeps
Its Congress—with the Dead—
Was I content—to be denied—
The Charter—Unpossessed—
I have no Vote—yet wear a Mind—
And that—is richly Dressed—
The World—allows me little Space—
To Sign—my name in Law—
But gave me Skies—no Fence could Keep —
My Thoughts —a Voice inside —
I lived—where Silence—was not Shame—
But Shelter—firm and kind—
A simple man—circled by Restraint—
Yet Sovereign—of the Mind—
If Happiness—must wear a Crown—
Then mine—is made of Air—
Invisible—to those who rule—
But real—as any Prayer—
So Life—after Death—I trusted—thus—
Not Golden—nor Severe—
But Freedom—finally Spoken aloud—
Where our Rights—are rendered—Clear—
Death strikes with its wicked grin,
Deep grief and sorrow it brings,
Flights to heaven then begin,
When our souls fly without wings,
Each saint bears a halo ring,
They reign there as queens and kings,
With Angels near a calm spring.

Ken's had a car accident
his life hangs in the balance
there’s no brain activity
his life support was switched off
declared clinically dead
Dee cradled him tenderly
as he took his final breath
their wedding vows remembered
donor card activated
vital organs are removed
saving the lives of others
even in death he lives on
Dee walks behind Ken’s coffin
her long ebony tresses
cover her face like a veil
mourner’s eyes glisten with tears
In the midst of darkness, we fear the unknown What lies beyond this life we've known But do not fret, do not despair For there is hope in the afterlife we share Though we must leave this earthly plane Our soul will continue on, no longer restrained In a world full of light and love We'll reunite with those we're dreaming of No longer bound by mortal fears No pain, no sorrow, no more tears Our souls will soar, free as a bird In a realm where love is the only word We'll be surrounded by celestial grace In this new existence, we'll find our place Greeted by loved ones, who've gone before As we embark on this eternal tour We'll be guided by a heavenly hand Through lush gardens, and golden sand We'll dance with angels, under a glowing sky And bask in the warmth of a sun that never dies Our souls will be at peace, in this afterlife No longer burdened by the struggles and strife For we'll have shed our mortal shell And found true freedom, in this heavenly dwell So do not fear the end, my friend For death is simply a new beginning, in the end And in the afterlife, we'll find our true worth Uplift your spirit, for there is life after death on Earth.
Cod bless ye dead folks
God bless each Soul
Those good lucky Dead
Over those evil has no control.
Cod bless ye dead folks,
Those too that have cause to cry
After all sundry sadness
They've seen to go by.
God bless ye
Ye sleeping beauties
Ye sleeping booties
Ye prizes
Death's pleasure
God's reward
Despite sombre guises
God bless ye:
Ye buddies
Ye Buddhas
Ye Friends
Keep loving and blessing
Till the end of the ends

Will we ever know
if there's a life after death
sure hope that there is
Houdini wanted proof of life after death
He would do anything to get it
He tried a variety of things
Nothing worked, to his disgust
He offered big fortunes
But alas, it did not happen for him.
On this earth, in this flesh body.
But then he reached heaven.
Or was it? He was surrounded by spirit.
They were giggling and whispering.
He was tied to a chair.
He felt their presence but he was locked down.
Is this hell? He wondered. Or purgatory or what?
The spirits refused to tell him, leaving him as confused in spirit
As he had been in flesh.
It was a consternation for sure.
All live in the past and present
None of us knows the future
Until Death.
Our energy never dies
The only place for it to go is:
The Future.
That is life after death
Psalm 119:28 – "My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word." King David in the Bible.
Swords
Grief is the silent, ripping sword,
the razor slashing inward;
the days, the weeks, the years go by
and time is an enigma.
Some say normal life returns
but they have never lived this;
there is no normal after death,
there never is returning.
The space remains, tormenting void -
once filled, your vibrant face within it.
Upon my heart your image burns,
much like the sacred veil,
the essence of a treasured soul
who outgrew life as we still know it
and moved beyond this place,
beyond this world, beyond time’s face,
by lifted hands made sightless.
But, I believe, someday,
we will know reunion;
the banquet seats will all be filled,
the smiles all genuine and real,
banished the deceptive costumes.
Healed, our hearts will be rejoined,
more alive than ever here,
where all the swords are beaten smooth,
shining troubadours of joy,
and all the tears forgotten.

Not to die is also not to live...
greater sadness is crying inside
in place of releasing tears out...
have only pristine smiles
that today correspond to nostalgia...
Smile thorns and cry flowers...
live with a sad soul
and smile anguish...
Feeling that joy is crying around...
That's why I reaffirm that dying,
is born-again... that is spiritual
comfort...
Meanwhile, I write poetry
that reveals understanding... !
It is not a matter
Of liking or not liking death,
It is a matter of
Believing in that very Truth.
It is not a matter of fearing
Or embracing it,
It is a matter of
Trusting the Holy Spirit.
Life after death(hope for humanity)?
When I think about the departed love ones
I surely hope for life after death.
When I can't escape the reminiscence of a lonely mind
I surely hope for life beyond this breath.
There must be a place for the Bliss and wretched
Maybe it call heaven or hell.
Or Maybe there are far better places
Mysteries we can't tell.
There must be a powerful supreme being
Who love His creation.
There must be a way to unite them in love
Though Atheist say it an illusion.
Then I stop to ask myself
What if Earth is our home and never realized it.
Aimless search for beauty and perfection
Blindly we criticize it.
All alone lost in my thoughts
Would I ever see again my love ones?

When I am gone,
Hold up your hands.
Close your eyes,
And remember me,
Remember us,
See us as children,
Together.
Learning from each other,
Laughing together,
Languishing in the love
That has brought us into this life…
Together.
And when you do,
You will feel me….
Through the warmth that fills your hands,
Through my life that courses through your body,
Through the memories of love that flash through your brain.
I have felt it.
You will, too.
You need only to open your heart
And extend
your hands out to me.
I will be waiting…..
Just to reach back
To you.

Life after death, is it only a dream?
Or did Jesus die so we could be redeemed?
What is the answer to this great mystery?
We must just look back at our grand history!
Jesus woke Lazarus after four days,
And all the onlookers were oh so amazed!
He gave us a sample of what he will do;
The dead will rise, that is the clue.
When his thousand year reign soon does begin,
Our cherished loved ones will come back again!
We'll then have a second opportunity to show
Our love for God and His Kingdom uphold.
"Thy Kingdom come", we so often pray.
That God's will on earth be done, we do say.
This will soon happen, of that we are sure!
Jesus is the answer, He is the cure.
