Houdini Wanted Proof of Life After Death
Houdini wanted proof of life after death
He would do anything to get it
He tried a variety of things
Nothing worked, to his disgust
He offered big fortunes
But alas, it did not happen for him.
On this earth, in this flesh body.
But then he reached heaven.
Or was it? He was surrounded by spirit.
They were giggling and whispering.
He was tied to a chair.
He felt their presence but he was locked down.
Is this hell? He wondered. Or purgatory or what?
The spirits refused to tell him, leaving him as confused in spirit
As he had been in flesh.
It was a consternation for sure.
