I've observed my thoughts
They naturally flow through my mind
Some true, some scripted
Some redundant, unkind
These are my memories, creating emotions
They're my unique experience in this life
Viewed from a platform
Sometimes exposing a neurological strife
We must turn through all the pages
Go beyond the human history of time
It is there we find the answers
Stamped in our ancestral climb
Like waves in the ocean
That relentlessly pounds the shore
The past flows through us
Like a stranger knocking at our door
We try to avoid this stranger
We’re frozen with fear
But the knocking keeps coming
Year after year
It's the ancestral sound
Of those who came before
Surprisingly, the noise lessens
When we open antiquities door
Now the waves begin to subside
As does the ancient battle in my mind
I become the true observer of the thoughts
They're clear and kind

nature to human
exploring relationships -
human to nature
Pastoral
Spring arrives on queue
Verdant colours warm the soul –
Wonders of nature
Pictures
Turner et al paint
Landscapes of life are then housed –
Framed for reflection
Impact
Then human advance
Nature abused through the ages –
How is this progress?
Downhill
Sustenance lessens
So life withers on the vine –
Mankind declining
Ending
Far away planet
First signs of life have begun –
We wasted our chance

Lyrics come to me by moonlight
When the power of darkness lessens
When whispers soften like overripe
Mangoes dispatched hurriedly from India,
On ramshackle East Indiamen vessels
Sailing fruitfully through consternated
Waters and heated lines of the tropics,
Selling rewardingly on busy markets
Charged with the power of buy-and-sell,
And order-and-supply.
I wonder how Bob would react to
My girlfriend’s long and big, sexy hair
Blowin’ in the wind,
Seeking answers to horizon-tossed questions,
When howling, racing gales accompany
Frightened sorrel horses, newly freed from
Spavins, and spiked by the energy of the sun,
Hurtle home happily towards old and battered
Picket fences newly mended?
I write often under the spell of night rain,
Striving much not to blend lyrics with poems,
Which, like zucchini and cucumber,
May look alike but are quite different.
I stumble upon the fraternity between words
And promises and splice them with soft, nimble
Fingers of the piano.
Gentle taps yonder come from happily sobbing congas.
And with an unseen ensemble, a song is born.

Forgiveness is devine offerings
The most humblest best of one’s heart strings
I know because I have plucked that one
And healing of my soul has begun.
When you let the light of life shine through
It’s amazing what our Lord can do
He knows what’s right and He sees wrong
In his arms is where the good belong.
You are safe as can be, He said to me
I am the shepherd of earthly fleece
I grant the peace that you are looking for
Light still shines through your windows and door.
When weathering the storms passing through
The sun will shine again, down on you
Peace is the balm that lessens one’s pain
Helps broken hearts become whole again.

Time creates wounds
Time exposes old wounds
Time worsens wounds
Time can become a wound
Time reshapes wounds
Time lessens wounds
Time transforms wounds
Time can mend a wound

The first week without you is an eternal bee sting
Too much pain to talk
Paralyzed from the waist down
Confined to a lonely bed
The pain lessens up like the rain
But the swelling remains
As big as a bowling ball, on each hand and kneecap
Forcing me to crawl around like a deranged animal
Only winning me pity
The swelling reduces after a month or so
But ugly pink scars remain
When triggered, blood pours from the scars
Stains my sheets as I sleep alone
Years pass and the ugly scars begin to heal
But not completely
Decades later I wake at midnight screaming
Perplexed at the puddle of red surrounding me
Why do I still bleed as if the wound was just made?
I lay on my deathbed after centuries of agony
My scars have faded, many more have been added
A quilt of despair, a skin of sadness
The memories of you return once more
The tears fall, the earth shakes
And at last I rest

GOAD loses envy
GLAD all is just fine
CLAD encase gold shine
CLAW sharpens for game
FLAW lessens valued claim
FLOW down the river
GLOW a horn’s glimmer

As you are stripped of all material possessions little by little...
As your masks crack and slip off one by one...
As your pride destruction lessens moment to moment...
As the ego priorities change person to person...
As you look in the mirror day by day...
Do you know who you are?
you are love,
you are beauty,
you are compassion,
you are peace,
you are joy,
you are happiness,
you are loved.

September 3 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 18-20
Key Verse – Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR LETTING US TURN UNTO HIM
Praise be to God for letting us return unto Him to:
Walk with Him by His wisdom
Work for Him through His Word
Worship Him along His watchfulness
Wait for Him willingly against worldly wants
Win against wavering, wantonness, and weariness
Ezekiel 19:1, 14 Praise be to the Lord for sending us
revival midst lamentation with His:
Love that lessens and lightens our load
Leadership for us as on Him we lean
Lifting-up while living by His liberty
Learnings with His life-lessons
Light in our lively laughter
Ezekiel 20:12 Praise be to the Saviour for sanctifying us:
Accomplishing His acts against our abominations
Asserting His authority above our arrogance
Affirming His attributes to our adoration
Approving our accountable attitude
Accepting our assured authenticity. Amen!

Is there any pleasure
In a slow, painful, untimely death?
Trading your happy ending
For the dread of this earth.
They say alcohol lessens
Our burdens of this world.
We smoke to blur our worries
Drink to forget yesterday.
Is there pleasure
In a slow, painful, untimely death?
Restraining your lungs for breath
Smoke, and we ready the wreath.
Alcohol and smoke are friends of the dead
They first get into your head.
Then kill your lungs, kidneys, and liver
And once trapped, no means to deliver.

Oh sweet, soulful Jill,
Like fine wine with a slight chill,
Your soothing pill
I love to swallow,
It eases the pain,
Lessens the strain;
Oh, how I love the feeling,
A nice sensation in the base of my spine
That slowly crawls up and touches my heart; gently, it caresses my mind.
Oh, my sweet poetess Jill,
With your healing pill
That makes me feel "Golden"
When you "Cross My Mind"
As I take "A Long Walk,"
Just so "So In Love."
This pill, "It's Love."

Values persuade a parting of ways,
hollow depths pivot the kindred root,
a bored dreamer surfing pipeline waves,
since bare feet days, mark the start of braves,
soften hours held a moon ensue.
A cast of walls rounds the befallen
words find places amidst of said Grace
Prayer Warrior answered the callin',
birthright's first claim long ere withholdin'.
A mother and her son -- last shared face.
Found at World End, a gloaming drifter,
a child of light that Heaven cuff hold,
a mother's prayer, gifts not wish matter,
words made simple, can spell disaster
her gift transcends and lessens troubled.

Life issues out many difficult trials
For in each problem we face, lies a lesson
In overcoming, we discover our smiles
Accepting what can't change, our stress lessens
We're born like a jagged diamond out of style
Through storms and darkest nights, we search for heaven
So let us embrace all of life's major strife
Navigate through all the problems of our life

Your room has one bed and only one chair.
You’ve only one life and only one ear.
Rise up, rise up from your hospital bed.
Don’t heed what the good Dr. Gachet said.
Go to your window, see the starry night.
It’s only a dream. Do not fear the height.
You think that your room is too far above,
But in this dream, you have wings like a dove.
Take flight far beyond sweet Venus and Mars
Through a swirling of galaxies and stars.
In the dark night, hear your prostitute sing.
She’s just off key, but it lessens the sting.
Watch the sun rise up, so bright in the East,
Above the sunflowers, you are released.
Hear a young girl’s voice like an angel sing.
Her melodious lilt like wind chimes ring.
Rise up from your hospital bed and go.
Walk to your sun kissed wheat field below.
Go to your wheat field. Put a gun to your head.
It’s just a dream. You won’t really be dead.
While off in the wheat field, his dream went black,
He lives in colors which God shan’t take back.
