If your birthday’s in August,
Your horoscope sign
Might turn out to be Leo
And that would be fine.
But that isn’t at all
What this poem is about,
For my LEO at breakfast,
Without any doubt,
Really jazzed up my morning
And if you’ve no clue
What I’m talking about,
I’ll explain it to you.
There’s an acronym here
And the L is for lox,
Which is salmon that’s cured,
Found in most deli stocks.
Now the E is for eggs,
Scrambled just to my taste
And the O is for onions,
Sautéed without haste.
Not all people will like this,
I’m not gonna lie,
But if it’s on the menu,
Please give it a try.
Leo Gorcey
was "crazy over a horsey"
but wanted cash to be a high stepper
and lost his chance to be on Sgt. Pepper.
To disrobe the lion’s ego,
would be to destroy a charismatic higher light
dethrone a regal rightous dominance
denounce a fierce protective energy
with pride of a warrior, never repudiate royalty
forswear fealty is to renounce a king of truth
whilst in his den, uncloaked he and his lioness
of regal virtue, love eternal and loyalty
when you engage with ultimate hierarchy,
roars of authority warn and ward risk taking rivals
with gifted instincts, a supreme stubborn strength
and a keen bond and respect for his own
an affectionate and generous warmth
confident yet cautious in their garden of Eden
defeatist disrobes the ego, only when defeated
deep within the soul, we yearn for substance
a spiritual substance sustaining us
the creature sustains as messenger
deeper significance beyond physical form
depicting qualities from the universe
butterflies symbolize transformation,
the turtle patience, the elephant a mighty sooth,
the lion links divine wisdom and perceives truth
As His warmth ensouls in me
His radiance illumes through me
pure essence lures beyond the Universe
He is most vital in my vitality
with a fiery finesse and bold intense
warmth can be simmering
as well as a gentle heat of passion
kind and generously spread
with an unshakeable bond
true love is rightfully rewarded
(Leo - our cat's name)
Dear Leo, this verse is about you!
It's being shared not out of the blue
He is the morning person of all
But he doesn't require a rooster's call
He likes going for a morning walk
Of course; only up to kitchen block
He gets delighted to stirring sound
And responds if he's in and around
He takes a stance by arching its back
And displays his prudence to attack
Wise enough to show his intention
Follows on to catch our attention
He does give no scope to any mess
He never takes food less or excess
Our casual talks filled with his bites
We feel proud to share all those highlights
Decodes signs like a flawless scanner
Wins hearts with an elegant manner
He always appears to be composed
With great love, the best of him disclosed
"Lose the acent Mister, I know it's you!"
What accent I say's, what accent?
The Altermate Red, yeah it's you!"
What you talking about Mister, Mi name is
Nuala, Seamus, Seamus being mi first, Nuala being
mi last: why do you say I have an accent?"
What's your Paw's last name< mi paw's Hondell:(interupting)
You heard me what's your paw's hondell?
Mi paw's is Hondell it's his name I tell ya!"
Cén blas atá ann? Is é mo fhíorghlór é agus a leithéid.
Is drong mianadóirí scrungaí muid
déanaimid mianadóireacht sna huaimheanna
agus treabhadh na bpáirceanna.
Whatever Mister, lose the accent when I'm holling at you.
Yes sir, but you sure are ignorant.
In referance to mi accent,
what accent it's mi real voice.

his voice echoes

Leo Tolstoy
He stands—among the tallest Names—
That Time has learned to say—
A Mountain robed in Mortal ink
Where Centuries still pray—
The Page becomes a Parliament
Of Souls that seek their way—
He ruled the Nineteenth Century’s heart
With Armies made of Thought—
Where Peace and War went hand in hand
And Love was dearly bought—
Where every Breath of Mortal choice
By Destiny was caught—
Anna walks the iron Thread
Between Desire and Law—
Resurrection lifts the Ash
That Guilt had turned to Straw—
And History kneels quietly
Before what Conscience saw—
In little Rooms of Narrow tales
His Judgment still appears—
Alyosha tends the hidden flame
That burns through all our Years—
And God, who waits beyond the bars,
Counts every human tear—
Few Voices press so hard on Life
And ask it—what it means—
He carved the Heart from Mortal clay
And showed us what we’ve been—
A Witness robed in Russia’s snow
Where every Soul is seen—
Praying for all especially who need
Onyx cross hanging black beads
Pontiff as cool as blue breeze
Elegant without emerald trying
Let there be love and peace
Even if we don’t all agree
On who Christ died to free
Little Oreo’s Battle with Leo the Lion
It was a quiet day, a bit rainy with the sun coming through.
Oreo was relaxing by the window, taking in the sun.
Oreo didn’t know that Leo the Lion was breaking in to steal his food.
All of a sudden there was a noise, Oreo went to investigate.
Leo attacked Oreo and the fight started.
Oreo defended himself but gave Leo a beating
Then shoved Leo out of the house.
At last Oreo can sit in peace.
Hurray for Oreo.
Glorious cats of the Sun
They strive to be number one
They live for recognition
To be the best by definition
The most generous of them all
No favor is too big or small
They’re loyal to their tribe
Their love’s hard to describe
They love their mane
They can’t be tamed
Big hearts of gold
They’re regal and bold
Even in the night
They’re in the spotlight
Flattery makes these kitties purr
They love compliments for sure
One thing that you can’t ignore
Is when you hear these lions roar
They’ll charm you like never before
They’ll have you melting on the floor
These felines already won
After all is said and done
These are the cats of the sun
They’re most loved by everyone
I love you!
I’m so happy you scolded Pres. Trump
Also mentioned
You’re ashamed to be called American
That is so good!
You even compared him with Jesus Christ
That is so good!
For me you’re the best Pope
