Cheater and Cheator

Like two paynim peas in a pod,
their scurvy color
lipslick scheme is sour green

Got beady black eyes
scam shady —
A graft gaze that squints bifurcated focus
from hocus-pocus pupils;
whose tainted teal look-see, aperture con-fidence teach
a vulture view!

Crafty condor blinkers reflect
cunning thoughts
with a subtil snake-oil sheen

The scales of their subliminal deception
weighs silver speak fugazi
forge fraught
Cheating and conniving is the gold hush standard
of the blarney barker bling-bling

And cheator ear worms
dig every electromagnetic crypt-ic message
that the swindle Svengali sing-sing

Cabbage cheater chants
grow robber root rancor on the
dire dark,
underbelly dusk horizon

Them pickpocket pants,
pig feet parlance,
taste liquidity legume leper-con unlucky
on welsh rabbit tongues

Premium Member It Only Just Seems That Way-

Just cause,
Just because it only seems that way
Doesn’t make it so?

It only seems yet that way it seems;
That a firefly is not a fly-it’s a beetle;
As it seems similar looks
A prairie dog is not a dog, but a rodent;

It only just seems that way;
India ink is not from India;
It’s made in Egypt and China;
It only seems yet that way it seems;

Similar?

It only seems that way lead pencil doesn’t contain any lead;
You consumers were lead to believe this,
Pencil are made of wood and graphite;

Just cause,
Just because it only seems that way
Doesn’t make it so?

O’ and a peanut is not a nut, it’s a legume
Seems we been fooled all along;
And a Mexican jumping bean is not a bean, also-
It’s a seed with a Larva inside (just a worm hiding)

It only seems that way

Just cause,
Just because it only seems that way
Doesn’t make it so?

All above so familiar,
Similar?

It only seems that way

Reflection of You

There were liberal field, golden paddy, mild touch of south breeze
And there were you, your beautiful smiles with opening mind

There were jackfruit, plum, mango, palm, and betel-nut trees on the bank of the pond.
And there were you, the sounds of anklet-rings, the scent of tuberose hair oil.

There were creeping plants of legume, balsam-apple, cucurbitaceous, snake gourd, and all these flowers on the home yard.
And there were you, daily watering on those plants, vegetable collecting basket.

There I was happy
when you walked on the field,
when you smiled under the trees,
when you watered on the creeping plants
And there I was fully quenched seeing you surreptitiously

My shyness farewelled you silently, wiping tears
Now, I am happy when I hear your life is joyful there
This heart is nothing
just a flowery bed of love,
just a heaven of love,
just the mighty throne of love

Now, to me, the field, trees, pond, yards, creeping plants are nothing
except for a pure reflection of you
all through these, my happiness comes and goes
peacefully
delightfully
amorouslyerotically

Legume

Legumes are the flavor of the walls
Wet, soft, and sexy
They penetrate the soul and leave with a feeling of pure joy
We love all root vegetables equal
We are the root vegetables

Party Vine

PARTY VINE

The Sweet Pea is a social climber,
behind your back, a wisenheimer.
In the night it wields its powers,
Sweet Peas strangle other flowers.

Sweet Peas think the rainbow's somber,
they use the Fall to upstage umber.
They twirl tulle skits in every tint,
cheat the rose and pungent mint.

The splendid buoyant burgeoning pod,
is full of seeds it dumps with a nod.
Sweet Peas are fervent fertile bunnies,
they tease the bees with shameless honeys.

This pea legume will make one drunk,
it throws loud parties from its bunk.
In sweet perfume and showy dress,
it's backwards with oblige noblesse.

Sweet Peas smell like Orange Crush tastes,
It weaves green tendrils like Irish lace.
When breezes blow so soft and heady,
they throw their blossoms like confetti.

Premium Member The Fallible Theory

We were born into a sabotaged life,
Darwin's Theory of Evolution.
Protruding branches trapped by the tree of life,
but sunlight produces chlorophyll, the attribution revolution.

We had to fight to be born,
against gravity, disease and other sperm.
Millions of others we outperformed,
instinctually toughened like a pachyderm.

But something goes wrong once we leave the womb,
our skin is soft and we need love to survive.
Checkmate, milk and sustenance, the mothers legume,
the real challenge arrived it has, learning to stay alive.

Gungo Blossom

Bright gold folded in dark crimson
A flag of flower furled on a tree
Harbinger of delight and the season
Legume stirring apppetite in me
I yearn but cannot taste again, these
Years like rivers have carried all
The fond treasures of youth into ease
Fallen like frail eggs from a wall
Gungo, no more from mother's pot
No more from sister's hand piped hot
No more this Christmas find's the slot
That separates kind child and idiot.
Burnished gold and crimson veined
Stirs the heart where memory stained.

Premium Member Green House of the Sick Man

"Green House of the Sick Man"
Imagining the lush, trickled and tickled
By spray of light thoughts, my healing possibly
To be that clover in full bloom again
My body looked more like onion weed

I wished for the irrigation from the botanist
These thoughts, they want to crop up as
He taps on both my knees, offering some advice
"You won't sprout from your bed for a couple days.
Don't forget ventilation, open those windows. "

My cold frame was evidence I had not been taking my pesticides
A fodder for other animals' discussions downstairs
Not ready yet, but don't put me out to pasture for them
It is my job to sell at the marketplace, rising to full radiance

Though feelings of worry might crop up, wondering
About my yield, I might yield, but never concede
I coughed up less nutrients than yesterday
Still an arable land I wish to be a legume
And be with my friends again, all peas in a pod.

The Raunchy Haunch

“Quick smart struck onion!
You metronomous fishy tail!
You’ll not be taken in by me,
you fraudulent legume!”

I seemed to have soundly unsettled her
Set her mind cross firing, flailing
But it’s not such a thing to be nettled for
No reason for wail and paling

“Quick, smart, lush young-one!
You’re melodious, pithy, hale!
I’m already taken much with you;
please do let me resume!”

Still I unbloomered my hand and bloused it
Found her skin a singin’ an’ tinglin’
Thrilled firm and brazenly arouse-ed
Her dissent clearly dissemblin’

“Oh quick, start, rush lovin’!
My ‘band’s a louse, gritty, stale!
But he’ll not be taking long from now,
or so we should assume!”

That’s when I heard an unsettling foot step
Eared hobnail booting scooting
And so sought out the exit I 'ad free kept
Flash fear foul intention mooting

Quick; dark, hush, re-button!
Your ‘band sussed our betrayal!
I’d best be taking my leave ‘bout now,
I’ll see you in no time soon!”

Good-Bye Junk Food

Good-bye Little Debbie cakes,
Mr. HO HO, Boo hoo hoo,
Aunt Twinkie too,
I'm surely gonna miss, all of you.

Good-bye fresh bakery donuts,
Audios gravy covered steak,
Truffles with cream too,
I'm really gonna miss, all of you.

So long, Long Johns,
My scrumptious  chocolate Sunday's,
Uncle French Fry too,
Be gone from my hips, all of you.

Hello almond nuts, and legume,
Water packed tuna and brother salmon too,
Greeting my low fat diet butter,
I must welcome within, all of you.
