Premium Member Money Pig

The day they proclaimed addiction to be a disease
is the day drug abuse spread like a weed
The powers that be profit from prolonged disease
not so much from personal responsibility
they legalized dope to keep people pacified and numb
then lay tax on the working man-play us for chumps
They've turned this country from a cool place to be
into a red-hot mess, the needled and syringed lining the streets.
Nancy was right when she said just say no
now they have grass and gas stations
in deep blue tongued Colorado.

Some want to categorize obesity as a disease.
the cure for this one is simply quite easy
shut your pie hole and start moving your feet.
There's way too much profit in treating "disease"
That's why cures occur so very rarely.
Once a person is cured the money pig thins
it dies in the stye with the profit margin men.

Two Kinds of Life

I’ve seen the world change, transform in sight,
My country has taken on so many a plight.
On one side, poverty’s face is shown,
On the other, prosperity has grown.

One side gleams with bright faces, full of cheer,
On the other, life trembles, caught in fear.
The rich walk proudly, the poor quake in dread,
Like wolves chasing prey, they’ve fled.

The strong push laws aside, trample them down,
They’ve legalized their wealth, in every town.
They stash their riches, send them abroad,
Planning their escape, making the law their fraud.

Cut wages, take mothers' dues away,
Taxes and fines growing every day.
Some chase titles, lost in the quest,
While others wander, just trying to rest.

The good spread their kindness, hearts so bright,
The bad hide their wounds, concealed from sight.
Why must a young life be taken in vain?
Why must they hang, filled with sorrow and pain?

We lie in the fields, shot or hung,
No matter how much we try to run.
The cause of it all lies in the deceit,
And the wrongs proclaimed from the podium's seat!

Premium Member They So Loved The World

GOD, so loved the world, he gave his only son.
China, so loved the world, they gave us COVID,
instead of a cure for CANCER.
Politicians, so loved the world,
they tried to suppress voter's rights.
States, so loved the world,
they legalized marijuana,
making it easy to get high.
People, so loved the world,
unless your skin color offends them.

Premium Member On the Run

Nigerians are on the run
Refugees in search of Asylum
No more sweetness in their fatherland
Their dreams have crumbled

The giant of Africa is in shambles
With hope of her youth buried under the rubbles of
Man made insurgency
Banditry and insane killings

Evil holds sway everywhere
While goodness scamper to safety
Succor for the needy
Has been looted by the greedy

Kidnapping has been legalized
As perpetrators haggle ransom
With constituted authorities
Like in the open market
While security forces stand aloof
Awaiting their share of the pie
Armaggeddon is surely here

A Checkpoint of a Kind

Near the pleasure-offering joint
Was an illegal checkpoint
Legalized by police presence
And a militarily discolored jeep,
Whose size easily made the skin creep!

Also, a checkpoint proving the smell ‘Aromatic’
And off bringing romances Dramatic…
But mainly often eyeing The Heavy
And on it dropping Forbidden Levy
A doomed-to-be - seized ‘Their Gravy…

I think an invitation to watch a role
Happily parading a yawning hole:
Some Likely extra dosing on Tramadol
For shows of little self-control:
Their jeep on fuel-wasting patrol
With their ever assured enough petrol…

A checkpoint of really a kind
We don’t know who can its demons bind.

Saga of Dalila the Hairdresser

Past original lethal practice
         today modernly assumed
         and legalized
        as hairdressers, Delilah
         still Cuts the hair of
          her lover Samson...!

We’ve arrived at a place where we’ve mail in voting,
and media's become a politics machine.
Most every state now, has legalized gun toting,
a rock and a hard place we’re now living between.

Protesters riot, loot and history erase,
and liberal cities vote to defund police.
Our monuments and Capitol we now deface,
and one has to wonder if we'll return to peace?

We've weaponized Covid giving states final say,
our churches and schools remain virtually closed.
We've in turn let big cities call the shots their way,
not many positive things are being proposed.

Elected officials think money grows on trees,
everything's viewed as another racist sequel.
Rampant talk of socialism now floats on a breeze,
as long as there's hatred, things won't become equal.

Now toward socialism we see ourselves sliding,
America won’t ever be the same again.
Too many have disdain for the law abiding,
things won't get better until we turn from our sin.

Seems weekly I awake to a new paradigm,
we’re legalizing “weed” so it’s no longer a crime.
Radical change came so quickly, I’m left agast,
and morality, it seems, is lost somewhere in the past.
But its a gateway drug that leads to another,
now in second hand smoke the innocent must smother.
We’ve legalized this for the additional tax dollars,
always under the pretense, of helping young scholars.
Or to help homeless people get back on their feet,
but for many, this drug, was their path to the street.
Accepting to exist, rather than live life enjoyable,
too many have resolved to live life unemployable.
Modern day thinking has bid the golden rule adieu,
it’s now do it unto them before they do it unto you.

The latest Governor of Illinois is Mr. J.B. Pritzker
Your legislative accomplishments make me Illinois want to quit, sir

Mary Jane

Marijuana, Mary Jane
When Mary Jane became legalized for private use
I know my brother would have a garden in his room for him to lose
He will have every gram of weed to escape the lows
He'd get high before school and when the teacher asks why aren't you yourself, he'd reply 'Mary Jane is legalized for private use'
Yes, he's going to raise his voice on his mother or father because he is high
When Mary Jane became legalized I lost my brother in the smoke
Everything changed and he started flying with people he wasn't supposed to be with to come back to a home that's broke
When Mary Jane becomes legalized more kids will be in rehab
Because they're stuck in the fog
What a sad world?

Recreational Legalized

Recreational Legalized

While looking at TV we soon realized,
Recreational marijuana was legalized;
We never hesitated;
Like ours marinated;
And also, hope it had been sanitized.

If it was down and dirty marijuana,
We had received a dirty deal.

Premium Member Alcohol Can Numb the Pain

Alcohol can numb the pain
But it's not the best thing for it
So have a drink and have some fun
But please don't over do it.

It's can be so addictive
You may need it everyday
But when you finally sober up
Your problems haven't gone away

Some say it is in your genes
Others say it's just being weak
Either way it is an addiction
It's help, and advice you really seek

Life long abuse will destroy
Everything you ever had
When your health deteriorates
Your family will be sad

I'm not saying don't have a drink
It's safe in moderation
But drinking vodka at breakfast
Won't get you admiration

Liver failure heart conditions
Symptoms you may get
To many people gone before
Some you've never met

Alcoholism is hard to beat
It's a drug that's legalized
If you keep drinking like you do
Your internals will be fried

Family and friends are there for you
To help you beat this sordid addiction
You will then realize, alcohol kills
This is FACT not fiction

Premium Member It's Here

It's Here

Our brave new world, it's here!
Breeding in the secret places
of the high and mighty
Xeroxing our being but not our self
Our soma must be legalized
sex, already dehumanized
test tube beings alive and well
How many have lived, their story to tell
a life deliberately produced

International management
finance defining class and power
Dare to have a second child in China
Or smoke on the streets of Dubai
A million ways to die
and fear imprisons
Control is becoming controlling

Who Can Live Here

Who can survive here?
The air that we breathe smells of blood and anarchy
The water that you drink tastes of fear and lies
You should not say what you think and live
You are living in the time, where fake is fashion

Who can win here?
Your victory doesn’t depend on your strength and wisdom
Your victory depends on the desecration of a referee
The ground that you fight for is sleepy and risky
The cause that you took is bloody and tricky

Who can lead here?
Your vision is blinded by greed and hypocrisies
The mission you are on is full of ambush and lethargy
Your message is rejected before it comes out of your heart
The soil you step is full of personal mines and dynamite

Who can pray and be holy here?
Your faith is legalized according to an ideological agenda
Your God is only accepted if he fits into their temple
Your act of worship is effective if it fits into their idol
Your inspirations are right when it fits their aspirations
