   I OPENED A DOOR IN THE UNIVERSE 
   AND WAS GREETED BY A SPEAKING
   CAT.

   HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS
   HAMMER THE KITTY.
   ABOUT 2 FEET LONG AND SOLID
   BLACK APPROXIMATELY 12 POUNDS.
   HIS GREEN EYES SEEM TO BOTH

Little Kitty on a Bun

Little kitty sitting on a fabric bun,
What is that your little paws are on?
A little fishy made of blue,
it's clear it means a lot to you.
Little puppy friend by your side,
open expression, nothing to hide.
How adorable you are, all of you,
You, your fishy, and your puppy friend, too.

Good Night Sweet Kitty

Good night, sweet kitty.
It is time for us to sleep.
The moon is out, the day is done,
It's time for us to dream.
What is that crash, oh furry one?
You say you see a bug?
I've looked and looked, nothing is there,
Are you sure it wasn't a dream?
I'm startled awake by an apparition,
a screech, a snarl, a scream

My kitty, Harry climbs tall red brick walls,
alarmed, I could not believe my eye balls;
while I trim roses climbing,
up, up with perfect timing,
in the garden-  he leaps and never falls !

Moving and Kitty Cats

Inspired by Mati, a Stubborn, Beautiful, Black Angora

When Mom sat me on the ground, oh, meow, what fun I found.
Loved the out, but now I need in more, so I call and rub our door.
Where's our stuff they carried out, I still smell familiars about?
They just don't hear me yet, I'm sure there's no reason

Pitter pitter patter patter went his white tipped feet
The rain was refreshing in the beginning
Now it was irritatingly cold
Tom was hunting for a new sleeping place
His usual spot under a porch was drenched
A stranger called “here kitty kitty” He distrusted the voice.

Don’t look now but there’s the cat
from The Cat In The Hat
riding on the master's coat tails
feeling pretty special
resting on his laurels

Poor Hello Kitty
Rests on a stoop
Her eyes droop
Bird poop
Now goop
In her hair
People, beware
Of birds in the air!

Ate a sandwich with a fried-up rat
Coughed up a bit on my welcome mat
Because he did not want to get totally fat

adventuresome kitty cat
materializes at other edge of my driveway
brave to venture in this dog-infested yard
mostly white with caramel face and tail
she stops and stares
startled I am there
because I am silent
I make no moves

the pony dogs are no where in sight
God must be on this creatures side
neither shows up
I know they are out here somewhere
do they
